Doctors are a great help. The receptionist is very rude. She told me to change how I talk on the phone and doctor doesn't have any appointments for today before asking what I was calling for. Then hung up on me twice before being able to book an appointment

Receptionist is rude and disconnected the call while i was talking. I work in customer service, I didn’t know customers/ patients are treated like this.

This is a terrible place where you will not be helped. Everything is locked up, they speak dismissively on the phone and do not want to help. I walked for an hour with a child in the heat to see the castle. I do not recommend!

Doctor really rude. And reject patient any request. Do not waste time. Only accapt India. Because doctor is Indian.

Made phone appointment. Dr recommended unhelpful suggestions and that I get a family dr. I went to another clinic and was told my symptoms needed lab work and were a serious concern.

I've been to this clinic a couple times and have had good experiences. And u can't beat the hours. Name one other clinic open until 9 pm. I don't understand the bad reviews. It's a walk in clinic not an all inclusive resort. I've been to waaaaaaaaaay worse clinics. Pre covidi hurt myself at work and I was in and out in an hour. I've sat in walk in clinics for 3-6 hours usually, sometimes longer.

Today my son was not feeling well at school. He vomited twice in a row, and he vomited twice after returning home. It was already around six o’clock in the afternoon. Considering that the family doctor was off work, I found this place on GOOGLE named Main & Marine Medical Clinicat 235 Se Marine Dr's, its introduction says no appointment needed, walk-in clinic, I brought my son over immediately, and the door showed: "OPEN: After knocking on the door for a long time, only one lady Reluctantly approached the second door and asked us what we needed through the glass door. I briefly introduced my son’s condition and asked if I could ask a doctor to see him as soon as possible. She pointed to the phone number on the door and said, you can call this number, I said that if the doctor didn’t even have time to see the patient, how could he answer the phone? She said, why don’t you come back tomorrow, and then there’s no more, the whole attitude is cold and lazy, and it feels like this clinic is Pretending to be opening, win my opinion, this is not a URGENT CARE, this is more like “who care” or” I don't care”.

Went there as a walk in and the sign said open but the door was locked. One on the gals from behind the desk came to the door and asked if I had an appointment and I said no, she responded that I would have to call the number on the door to see if there were any appointments. I asked her if there were any appointments and she again said call the number on the door. So I did and the other gal that was behind the desk answered the phone, what a joke. I asked if there were any appointments available and she said yes and took my name and then wanted my health care number. I’m a commuting worker from Alberta and because I did not have BC Health she refused to book me an appointment. I have Alberta Health care and I thought that in Canada we were able to see a doctor anywhere, I GUESS NOT At THIS CLINIC. Rude, very rude gals behind the desk and I hope they realize they will cost that clinic money by their actions like this despite how nice the doctors may or may not be

Can’t think of anything that can disrespect enough to show how they treat their patients in this clinic.

Worst clinic to go to, the receptionist has no reason to warrant a rude attitude in making a simple appointment. Expects you to call back and give fax numbers of the pharmacy before telling you that you have a confirmed appointment, and to send pictures of your problem, what is the point of a virtual interview then? Also yells out "Wait! " every time she's behind in her typing. Awful receptionist equates to even worse medical service.

For an inperson appointment, this clinic requires a phone call appointment first and then an inperson visit. Just a way to bill MSP twice. Do not bother going. This clinic is scam and the 1.8 star speaks for itself.

They don't pick up phone calls, answer emails, and their front door is locked. Don't bother walking in. Don't bother making appointments to see the Dr. Thanks.

I would do zero stars if it was possible. Doctor kept talking over me and was arguing with me about giving me an inhaler for my asthma that I’ve been on for 25 years. Wouldn’t recommend for anyone to use this clinic.

Won't see any patients anymore even after having 2 covid tests and followed the health bc guidelines to ensure I did it right.both came up negative. Seems they just don't wanna do their jobs anymore.

One of the worst experience I had at the medical clinic. Spoke with Dr. Lam, the worst doctor I have ever have ever met in my life. He spoke with me over the phone literary for a minute or so without listening properly to the issues I am having. He then asked me to do some tests and after I have given the samples at life-labs, he didn’t even bothered to call back to discuss the reports. I requested him to send my reports to me through email so I can send it to my family doctor. He replied “ we are very busy and we don’t have time to send your reports over the email and instead come to the clinic to pick up the reports.
Even receptionist need some training how to talk to a customer (patient). Zero customer service. I said the same thing to the receptionist that if she can forward the results to my email. She said the same thing “ come to the office, take the printed copies and bring 2$ (as cash) for paper“ to get my results. It seems like they want to earn extra 2 dollars. I don’t understand how long it takes to forward an email. Such a horrible clinic.
They are just robbing people through MSP without giving any service.

Doctor has too rude behaviour. I had pain in back area around neck and called this clinic they told me to wait until doctor assist me on call. I was having severe pain so, I purchased pain killers from marine drive superstore and then in evening doctor called me regarding my problem. I told him the whole situation about my pain and told him that I got painkillers due to heavy pain and he refused to give me prescription. He told me that get your prescription from superstore. This is very bad service that no one want from doctors like him.

I saw a specialist (dermo) here through a referral (Dr Ho) and he was really great. Made sure I understood and gave me treatment solutions. The staff was really nice and even let me bring my bike inside as there was nowhere to safely lock it up.

Oh my God, do not go here. Just DON'T worst service I've ever received. Wow. Horrible.

My experience with this clinic is A+ specially Dr. Thakur lal Awesome Dr. I wish we have more Drs.like him. Prompt service. What I like the best part of this clinic is their timings. Nice staff. I wish the best for this clinic and its staff members. Thanx! A lot for what u guys do

I called the front desk person over the phone and I told the front desk person that my ear was hurting on the phone and I wanted to get checked out and the front desk person said I could only talk over the phone with a doctor and I was confused because how is the doctor supposed to check me over the phone and give me some medicine for it and very poor service.

DO NOT ATTEND THIS CLINIC. STAFF IS RUDE AND DR LAM UNHELPFUL. I literally sat with him for 1 minute before he took a swab and kicked me out of the room. Dr LAM is not in the business of helping others. Do everyone a favour and report this clinic. Needs to be shutdown ASAP.

Dr Lam has been so kind to me. He has always returned calls, refilled my prescriptions and sent them off to the pharmacy no problem.

OMG, front desk is really rude. She was upset when I asked to book an appointment. I just gave my name and she just told me "Dr. Lam will call" after 3pm. I wanted to know what time I can get it, and where I can get a prescription since I don't have the change to tell which pharmacy is closed to my home. It seems that she don't like to get a call.

Front desk is always rude and arrogant. Dr. Lam tries every excuse in the book to avoid seeing you in person in the name of Covid. He also misdiagnosed my foot and refused to refer me to Podiatrist. The front desk even charged me $1 to use one of their disposable masks my last visit. She didn’t give me a receipt and kept the looney behind the counter. These Masks are government funded and they are still that desperate to charge people and pocket the cash. Very unprofessional and unpleasant experience.

Went to this clinic to see very strong back and leg pain. Doctor didnt allow me to finish talking before made the conclusion that it is "strain in muscle" and "dont be a baby, go back to work". I went to another clinic, saw a doctor, got a orthopedic referral and got a surgery.

The only medical treatment this place can offer you is pain killer, do not go there for anything else.

The doctor had no medical ethic or basic sympathy as a human being.

This clinic is an absolute life-saver for anyone needing to speak to a doctor quickly and regularly.
They are one of the only walk-in clinics in the city that ACTUALLY takes patients all day. Other walk-ins constantly fill up within like 3 minutes of opening but Main and Marine have your back.
I’m on multiple medications that need regular refills and I am constantly forgetting until the last moment, when it starts to become urgent.

Dr. Lam and Dr. Perriera have saved my bacon many times, refilling prescriptions over the phone at 5 pm and beyond. Thank you!

Worst receptionist ever. RUDE. IGNORANT.
Wouldn’t let us finish talking. My bf book an appointment for two of us since we had an accident. When we got to our appointment, they only registered him when my bf specifically ask for both of us and Dr. Lam said he will register me since I’m new, according to him on the phone. As we got there, I’m not registered, tried to talk to her nicely but gave us an attitude. Wasted our damn time. I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Dr. Lam, has no capacity to listen to patients, he likes to talk over you and does not listen at all…

I’m surprised that they are still open, last year I had a terrible experience with them but decided to give them another try as it is close by to my house… but it’s the same issue… Dr. Lam does not care and instead will raise his voice at you if you try to explain to him what’s happening with you.

Also they didn’t even call back, I had to call again so that they would call me

Dr Lam is the worst doctor I ever seen in my life! He has no ears for his patients, not emphatic. He give you prescriptions before he diagnosed the problem! I don’t recommend anyone to go to this place really

Terrible service as they don't care about the patients. They turn you away when you need medical attention despite having medical coverage especially when it is a time sensitive matter. Front desk staff are no help whatsoever and somewhat rude. I do NOT recommend this clinic at all.

Better off if they shut down and disappear so someone else who provides the community a valuable service can take over.

Poor coustomer service. Front desk kept me on the phone for almost 15 minutes then told me we can’t take private patients!

Very mean and unprofessional doctors, no help from them at all, went there with a back injury and all I got was a prescription for painkillers.still dealing with back pain till this day. If you have a real health issue avoid this place and find a professional who can actually give you some treatment.

Real useless doctors. Never help me out with what I actually need. I've been in pain for so long and he won't give a referral to anything useful. Waited for so long just for him to tell me to do some stretches. Thanks for nothing! Would give negative stars if I could. Please just shut down

Dr. Lam is the worst doctor i've ever met, He won't listen to you, he is extremely rude, won't let you finish what you want to say and stands by the door as he explains ready to see another patient. I had a car accident and was looking for a doctor's report for ICBC claim, My car was totalled/total wreck due to head on impact. Had some muscle pain in my back and neck and discomfort on my left shoulder. After 5 physical check. (bending, stooping etc,) his diagnosis was "Im in perfect shape to work, Asked me to take Advil to relieve the pain. I tried to explain but as I speak, he simply look at you (poker face) and said just come back if the the pain doesn't subside, What a joke! This Dr. Lam doesn't even care, I am wondering why he is still practicing despite off numerous negative feedback against him (similar complaints) ? And is the BC medical society is aware his bad behaviour? Terrible Doctor ever!

I hope the next patient watches these reviews and reconsider going at this clinic. All they care about is meeting the most amount of patients in the least amount of time. Without treating them properly, they are always ready to run to the next door. I hope this clinic shuts down and patients get their justice and proper treatment elsewhere. Tried to work with different doctors at different times, but I guess the management considers to have the same reckless approach.

The worst. The receptionist don’t greet you as you come in the door they don’t say anything at all. Then they call your name and without waiting for you, they proceed to ‘bring you to the room’ and stand by the door while you finally reach them. Then the (female) doctor is a c u next tuesday and is so confident about her unhelpful advice that a toddler can give.

If you are going to this clinic make sure to ask for the other doctors Dr. Lam multiple times has sent me away with little to no examination. Total waste of time.

Stupidest place ive seen honestly. I called in and was told i can come in to see the doctor if i cpme before 7pm. I left everything i was doing and rushed here, and i was told they arent seeing anyone else. I told them i called and they said i can come in. Their response was no, we arent seeing anyone.

My friend saw Dr. Lamb today. He was extremely rude, disrespectful, and uncaring. Would not recommend.

I am. Letting everyone re doctor no problems with front staff they very good but only the male doctor he always there’s he not professional doctor I remember that day when my nephew was year and half old went to see same doctor he said he fine and send us home but kid should be at hospital luckily we took him to the hospital if we wait even another hour he might not make it that was the hospital doctor said again same problem with me he did not give me the prescription he should I end up in hospital for more than 2 weeks do not see the mail doctor he not doing his job and he should be quite his job do not see the doctor

I had to pay (I'm from overseas) and wait over an hour which didn't bother me because I was hoping to get the help I needed.

Dr Lam. The worst doctor I've ever had. Barely egnoleged me. Wouldn't look at me while i spoke and didnt listen to what I thought was causing my sickness.
Instead just kept going away and coming back with a prescribtion to medication that i didn't need.
He prescribed me pills without going through with me what they were or how they'd effect me and with the type of pills they were (anxiety/anti-depresant) it is sooo important you cover that.and just to clarify I didn't even ask for these pills. I was after something else and when i tried to explain the type of medication that was recommended and again explain what my symptoms were.he refused to listen and stood at the open door saying 'well that's what we prescribe here' as If it was a gesture for me to leave. I was so confused I was literally in the room with him for 5 minutes. There was no chance he could have known what was properly wrong with me if he didn't even let me speak!
When I later went to the pharmacy I told them what i thoght the medication was for.they had no idea why he'd prescribed me them because it didn't seem right. I didn't buy them.

I left and honestly got a little upset after because I felt a little helpless. I now have to pay again to see another doctor to hopefully get the help I need.

Don't go here.

Not good. The level of expertise that these doctors have is unacceptable in Vancouver. Your time and your health are better off elsewhere.
