A frustrating experience. I made an appt to drive in from Abbotsford to test drive a Tesla. The sales rep assured car was in great condition. When I got there, they could not open the door, there was body damage, the drive battery was impaired. A waste of 2 hours and the gas to drive in.

If I could rate no stars. I would. The experience was nothing but a headache from day one. I was told I only qualified for this Ford escape. No other options available. I was told it would be fully loaded with remote start being installed. I got the car delivered to Calgary weeks after I signed the paperwork and I had to pick it up from the impound 3days after it arrived in Calgary. It wasn't detailed there was debris all over the car a mug under the passenger seat. Sunglasses in the roof compartment. It is not fully loaded. And when the service light came on i got it serviced and was told that my transmission fluid was black as I was shown the oil. I asked how long I would've had to been driving the car for it to get like that. I was told at least 100,000km. The vehicle had 97,000km when I took possession. And had it for 5mths n put less them 25,000km on it. I took it to surrey bc for a trip and by the time I arrived the engine was clunking so hard it sounded like a rock was in a dryer. I asked the service tech what that would be and the said possibly a timing belt but the sound was coming from inside the engine. Since I was in the city I got it from I took it to both surrey and langley. And all they did was argue that there's no way they were responsible. Even tho the service guys stated that I couldn't have turned the transmission oil black within the km n mths I owned the car. I was also very concerned about my safety driving home to Calgary in a blizzard with a car that might possibly break down and be so far from home. The langely office said they would call me first thing the next day n nothing still haven't heard from them at all. Now I am stuck paying 47k for a car that had 97km on it and I had it less then 5mths. Yet they did not offer any help or even took a look at what they could do so I got home safe. I did however have no choice to risk the situation as it was and return home. The car has been parked since. And yes there's warranty but I have to pay to have it inspected n then they will decide whether they will cover the costs of the repair. I do not recommend mainland motors. I am not the only person that has had problems. My brother in law and his gf both bought cars from them and not lasted. I can't believe the unprofessionalism and lack of safety they had yet promised they would be there every step that I was in one of their vehicles.

Just bought a 2021 charger, Alex was awesome helped me get a lower finance rate and worked around what I could afford. Great friendly staff would recommend.

They are selling very good quality car most specially Toyota, not rebuilt, clean title and no accidents. Lowest and affordabke compare to other dealership. It was a great experience of visiting mainland motors and getting our first car. We went there with no plan to get the car on the spot but Palak helped us with our approval and everything was done so quickly. We are glad we made the choice of going there and special thanks to Palak who made our first car buying experience so great.

We just bought a car from them 3 days ago but we already spent 1400 to change the tires, the rotors that were rusted and the break pads. They sold us a car with 12 year old tires. We felt like we were scammed, they didn't even give us even half a refund of the expense we had to incur.

3 month Update- changing my four star review to a 1 star.
My naïvity was obviously preyed upon by Mainland motors.
There is a long list of awareness since buying my car from them and my original rating.
Most recently my headlight went out. When I went to change it, I noticed the casing around had melted. I was informed at time of purchase that I had a two year warranty that covers any and everything so, I called them up. After a few days I called again as had not heard back. Alex stated would look into it then called back and said the service guys would call me back and help me out.
After a couple back and forth calls with service department, I was informed, I the light would not be covered and just the part would cost $600. During the time that I was waiting, I had done a lot of self education on headlights, how they work and repair and as a result felt $600 was a scam. I asked for a copy of my 2 year warranty. I was told they would text me what was included. I brought it up again at end of call and again was informed they would text me what was included. This itself is fishy as, I should be entitled to a written copy of my warranty. Additionally, after the call, I looked more closely at the headlight and have realized that the headlight had and socket burnt out before I owned the car because the socket in was not original and when it had been repaired/connected was not done correctly, there were poke holes in the wrap and no heat shrinking. So as it stands, I have a eye opening awareness that I have been scammed and I have not received the promises text of what is included in the warranty.

DO NOT BUY from them.

If they surround three people one being an icbc person and pressure you into what they are calling a deal…. Walk a way…. I am on the hook for 7years of payments at just over 350 a month for a 2016 fiat 500.
This was not clear at purchase price. In facti was never told the purchase price until I received copies of the paperwork after the fact.
I can’t say this enough, please don’t fall into the pressure trap, I have.

Alex and Frank were both very helpful. I am thankful for their dedication and service at helping me find my first car.

Over the weekend, I was initially browsing for a new vehicle and was assisted by the sales rep Parth who was really welcoming, very knowledgable about the vehicle's but also made my experience an amazing one. I left a very happy customer and would highly recommend anyone to visit them but especially ask for Parth to help guide you in your future purchases!

My experience with Mainland motors was best, I got Hyundai Elantra 2021 preferred, I met with Mohit and he gave me best deal, he explained me about all the available cars according to my budget and also he provided me the best trade in value than anyone in the city. I recommend to meet Mohit if you are going to Mainland motors, you will not regret it!

Vihan the salesperson at mainland surrey is the person whom you can trust blindly. I recently purchased a car from mainland. And Vihan was the person who got my loan approved in no time. He suggested me ways to approve my loan. The best place to buy car from is MAINLAND. And the best person who can assist you in buying one is VIHAN.

They are fraud, they sell cars more than market value, and top of that they don’t even repair cars internally before selling it to customers. I bought a car from them just this year and after few months car’s battery ruined, alternator damaged and wipers were broken. I do not recommend anyone to go to them, it was my first car ever and they took advantage of the thing that I don’t know much about cars.

Overall ** for Sales Rep Henna, who was quite proactive in selling but while closing down the deal she didn't disclose any of the details like duration of the loan, how much will be the interest amount, car keys, spare tire kit, fuel, car detailing.

It's my first car purchase (16th Sept) in Canada, which didn't turn out well because of the following.
1) Car interiors (especially front seats were full of stains) and fuel tank filling area was quite filthy.
2) Fuel tank was totally empty (No courtesy to get it filled - half or full). And I had to commute to Maple Ridge.
3) Only one car key was handed over instead of two.
4) No spare tire kit (Mobility kit) was in the car.
5) Two tire cuts were found on the rear tire.
6) Extended Warranty cost found to be on the higher side (Competitive prices were about $500 less)
7) Usually documentation fee is $399-$499. But they charged $995 (As per them, it's a combination of doc fee and finance fees)
8) Type of Tires are there?

Alex (Sales/ Finance Mgr) was quite rude but at last, still managed to get the few things done for me. Thanks
a) Got the car properly cleaned. Great job done by Ronnie (5 stars to him - He put all his efforts to clean every inch of the car).
b) Still waiting for the fuel voucher from Alex (Full tank as compensation should be there).
c) Car keys. They told me that they just have one instead of two and gave me the number of the car key maker.d) Mobility kit was provided later on.e) Waiting for them to replace the tire too. (As my daily commuting distance is around 70kms. And I can't afford to take the risk with tire cut wheel).
f) As per them, extended warranty varies from company to company, so the cost is accordingly.h) Tires confusion still persists. All-weather/All season?

*** Alex refused to show me the original docs, As per him, he doesn't want to.
(Which to me, appears shady - Though I signed them all but couldn't go through them due to time constraints)

This deal gave me the insight to be extra cautious for my next car purchase.
I wish if all these things would not have happened, it could have been a wonderful experience.

Amazing, professional service. All the staff I dealt with were super friendly. Recently had my previous vehicle vandalized to an extent that it could no longer be my daily commute. Brought it with me and they accepted it as a trade-in even though it's worth parts in my opinion. The staff stayed late to help me and my partner get into a newer vehicle. Amazing staff. This is the worstt dealership they cheated me ghis their talks, after having the big ossue taken to the owner of the place he promise to give me 4 oil services, when i agreed and called in to claim the first service they told me they wont do that because My friend did not delete her review from her social media about how their staff misstreated me and cheated me the whole car buying process!

The reason your not seeing much one star reviews because they threaten to delete the review, as they said my friend IF SHE WOULD’t delete her honest review they would file a law suite on her.

Last week I purchased a new 2017 Honda civic from mainland motors. The sales representative was Atul sidana. Atul provided excellent service. He took the time to explain everything about the car. Great experience to get a car, I just got a 2019 VW Jetta, the sales person who was with me during the process was very good, his name is Atul, very nice guy no rushing you to buy any, and give you the best option of engine and model. It took me two days to get the car and they adjust to your budget. Totally recommend for the future to my friends and family. As used cars they have a few details in the paint but nothing to worry about it 9/10.

I will never recommend Mainland Motors to anyone. They wasted 12.5 hour of my time over 3 different appointments. They should be ashamed of themselves for even allowing a potential costumer test drive a vehicle that was so disgusting and dirty. And then I foolishly believed them that they would properly and fully detail the vehicle on Tuesday and THEY DID NOT. It is still gross inside in many different areas and it is shameful of them to lie to people that way. Go look at my Facebook review it has over 30 pictures to show just how nasty it was and date and time stamps on there as well to show even after the 3rd appointment it still wasn't cleaned properly. Go anywhere else but here. Save yourself the headaches.

Had a good past experience with Anmol thus been back to same dealer. This time manager was so arrogant. Even after final deal they change digits on documents and when I verified it they start arguing. MANAGER is too arrogant.and checked my file today, they even cheated me by confusing numbers and robbing my own car for free. PLEASE CHECK THE DOCUMENTS BEFORE SIGN. And if you wanna check my details, ask your employees, who brought 2 cars from you.ho pity that you stop recognizing your own customers when they don't like your service

Worst service and their manager has no knowledge on how to provide reliable customer service. They sold me a defective vehicle and when I contacted them he behaved very rudely. My sales associate was on the other hand was a very nice and helping (i think indian) guy.

Hands down one of the top car buying experiences I have ever had! My husband and I travelled down to purchase a car for our daughter as a graduation present. We met with Peter Pooni and he was excellent! Knowledgeable, engaged and listened to what we needed and was extremely helpful in guiding our purchase. The lot had excellent stock and variety and all the cars were clean and in top condition. Peter graciously allowed us to test drive our car independently, we discussed price and options and settled on a 2008’, mint, immaculate Mercedes Benz C230. When I say immaculate, it was pristine- inside and out. The car had every service record, detailed and complete history and was so clean, it looked brand new. Peter, along with Alex, guided the next steps from payment to paperwork to insurance on the spot - it was an hour - tops. They were fantastic! We were on our way with a beautiful car and the pleasure of a great professional experience, friendly, welcoming staff and just so easy from start to finish. This dealership is great when I bought my Nissan rogue from them they were not pushy they were very accommodating and we came to an agreement that everyone was happy with including the warranty. About one year later when I had some car issues I brought it back to the dealership and the service guy Shaun was so considerate and helpful arranged for a courtesy car since being without a car is considerably difficult for me, and when I had doubts and questions about the warranty coverage, he took his time and explained everything in detail. Nothing but Honest friendly helpful guys there I highly recommend this place both as a car dealership and service department! 5 stars:)

Alex was the guy that helped me got a 2016 ram 1500 nice truck and all 3rd day owning the truck found a autobody hammer sitting on top of the upper control arm which could have caused serious damage or flew off and went through someone windshield day 4 found the old insurance paper under the seat from Hertz Canada rental agency was never disclosed that so even if you look up the carfax you wont see if it's ever been in an accident cause Hertz has there own mechanic division and self insurance through the company making it so they never have to make claims with icbc also 2 weeks after owning the truck had to take it for an oil change was required be very careful they hide car history found some overspray on my frame rails meaning part of the truck has been repainted at some point as well also rack and pinion is leaking and they cleaned it up so I couldnt see it

Im looking for a car, but I didn't buy yet, that's why I didn't give a 1 star,
But I would actually never buy a car from here when I find out the documentation fees are $995.lets say $1000 just for documentation fees which dosen't make any sense.

I recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a vehicle. They worked really hard to book me a deal. I have bad credit and its not easy getting a car but they managed to make it happen for me with no trade in and no down deposit. They car I ended up with was amazing not the one I planned but better. It's perfect for my job and my record label. Don't go anywhere else because they have the best cars and service period.
