Makeshift Work Space - Desks & Shared Offices

Highly recommend! I worked out of Makeshift for a year and really enjoyed it. The space is bright, with an incredible view of the North Shore mountains. Amenities kept tidy and clean. Monique is also such a joy to be around and really does her best to encourage community and a welcoming atmosphere. Our office grew so unfortunately we had to re-locate - but truly no complaints! Thanks Monique!

Absolutely love working at Makeshift Workspace! The ambiance is fantastic, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating options. The amenities are top-notch, and the community vibe is just amazing. It's the perfect place to stay focused and get work done while connecting with like-minded professionals. Highly recommended!

Best place for a startup or small organization. Cool place to meet other startups, share ideas and yes get business Friendly staff with fully equipped kitchen that’s ready for anything. Lots of Free parking is what sealed the deal for me here

I worked out of Makeshift Work Space for just over a year, and I cannot recommend this coworking space enough! The environment is inviting, comfortable, and in a fantastic location with craft beer and coffee right below the office. Monique has created a productive and welcoming environment, with added amenities like a sound-proof podcast room or Waffle Wednedsays. 10/10 recommend for coworking space, or for larger office event rentals!

A content creators paradise. I love working from here as a content creator, I'm constantly meeting startup founders with so much passion for what they do, I feed off that as I'm constantly creating. The podcast booth in the middle of the space is a big winner for me.it presents a high end fancy studio to my viewers and my podcast guests. My personal favourite is the dampened room where I go live and connect with 100's of thousands of viewers. Great space for creators and startups, great energy and great staff

I wish I had the opportunity to go but parking is insane. Drove for 30 minutes and couldn’t find anything for more than 2 hours parking. If you go, please consider transit, the location is not car friendly

Fantastic coworking space with some fantastic people! Perfect for someone looking to commute by bike since there's an underground bike lock up and showers. Couldn't recommend this place enough

I had a wonderful experience renting out the boardroom of Makeshift to work with my team on a brainstorming session. Our usual office is not set up for large format meetings so it was great to find a professional space to rent out for the day. The people at Makeshift were very friendly and accommodating. I'd forgotten my computer charger and they kindly found one for me to use. The facilities are clean, spacious and the kitchen area was set up with everything we needed. We'll be using Makeshift as our go-to rental space from now on!

Home away from. Office? Monique's space is way better than home or the office, comfortable and conducive to work. Great amenities, good vibe.

I have used Makeshift Work Space to conduct a two day training seminar for some clients. Monique was a pleasure to deal with and she went above and beyond to help accommodate some parking requests I had. The space itself was comfortable and met all our needs. Coffee was yummy as well! I will use Makeshift again for our next seminar.

Great vibe and beautiful space! Our window cleaning company has worked alongside Monique and her staff over the last several years. They've always been super friendly and courteous! Highly recommended.

Brave is loving it here - a warm community of co-workers for our coop to hang out with. Looking forward to more people trickling in to the socially-distancing-safe space now that it's back open for all of us.

I've worked at a number of co-work spaces and must say that Makeshift is great. Its a good size, lots of call rooms, bathrooms, outdoor space, and a clean kitchen (with JJ coffee). There aren't that many people yet, but everyone has been friendly.

Such a beautiful atmosphere! It's still not too bustling so lots of space and time to use board-rooms and quiet rooms, super open concept space and the FRIENDLIEST Front of House/owner that you'll ever meet.

Also the 'coffee' machine makes hot CHOCOLATE and that really just makes everything better.

Nice space, plenty of free street parking, bike storage, lots of sunlight, great neighbourhood.

This is an amazing workspace that is bright, clean, and has fantastic perks: great coffee (not that VanHoute undrinkable swill, crazy-fast internet, quiet spaces, and also is located in the perfect area.tons of free parking and on the bus route. There's sparkling water on tap, and a great little brewery just a few steps away for the end of the day.

Beautiful, bright, open concept space to work from. Monique and Yvan are great managers of the space. Yummy coffee and sparkling water:)
