I had a haircut with Ali, who is a skilled professional, and I am delighted with my new style.

This was my first experience here. I took a chance and walked in. The receptionist, a very lovely Irish woman told me they were unfortunately booked solid (great shops usually are). But as I was leaving, Moe asked what I was looking for. I said a quick buzz and beard trim. He waved me back in. Moe was friendly, and asked how I wanted my trim. He was fairly quick but nailed the beard trim. I understood why the quickness, he had someone who actually booked. But regardless of the time, Moe nailed it.

Extremely happy with the results. Will definitely book next time and get the full treatment. If you're looking for a beard trim, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Man Up Grooming.

I went there for the first time for trimming my beard, it was awful. Somehow, the barber was in a rush! I can't believe it! Less than 10 minutes, so simple! Even he didn't clean the hair on my clothes or around my neck after he finished. The only good thing was The reception behaviour. I would never suggest there to anybody!

Not a fan of the new location - no street parking on Esplanade and the underground parking is very tigh.
Still has the great team.

Moe is the number 1 barber I have ever been to, he does the best line ups and fades and also is really good with longer hair too. Moe is the best!

Mo is a great, warm and welcoming stylist that I have enjoyed taking my son and myself for haircut, on regular basis now.

I mean this place would be okay if it was like 20-25 bucks for a haircut but when you pay 42+tax which is 50 total it's not worth it, especially when they work on your hair for max 15 minutes, if I don't put gel on my hair I look like I have a bowl cut, I look like a priest, AMEN

I live in Langley and every 3 weeks I drive to North Vancouver just because of Moe. He’s a great artist.

Great hair cut and really comfortable place with pre appointment chairs/TV to watch and have a beverage. Unfortunately only able to give 3 stars as I wasnt provided the service I originally booked for / and asked for during my appointment. Felt rushed.

I never realized how much a good haircut improves my looks. I started going here to get my trimmed and now I'm hooked on the full monty with a beard trim. I have had 2 different barbers (Nadia and Steve) and both are excellent. Everything is well organized and I haven't had to wait yet!

Unfortunately I do not recommend this place. I have been here twice, and both times The Barbers ignore what I said. But of course once they start at that point I have to let it go, because you can't regrow hair. Once they make that mistake and cut, of what you told them not to do, you didn't have to have them do everything. Or your hair won't match. But I have to let them finish. Cuz if you stop in between you're stuck. Basically comes down to the Barber's not listening to your directions. So you trust them, both experiences for me were terrible. But that is the difference between Barbers and stylists. Barbers make you look like you're in the Army and that's all they know how to cut.

Barbers are all very capable, you get offered a drink when waiting for your appointment coffee, bubbly water ect. (non-alcoholic) they do straight razor shaves and stuff.

Nice experience, haircut wasn’t anything to write home about but the barber was pleasant. They also provide free coffee if you’re a little early which was nice.

My husband gets his cuts & trims here, and it is efficient, friendly and it looks perfect every time. Some other places in the area charge more for lower quality and a longer wait, but Man Up has always been the best.

I've been coming here for years, and it's always a fantastic experience. The owner, Alison, is really helpful and friendly, and all the staff are fantastic - shout out to Mariah!

Nadia is amazing and talented! She cuts my husband's hair and he always looks and feels awesome after seeing her!

Good haircut with Mariah, if you get there early, you can relax in their little mini pub space, with a beverage too (nonalcoholic). Definately a recogmend.

It's a pretty nice salon. But am not sure if it's worth the price. My service provider seemed skilled but hurried. It wasn't a very relaxing experience even though the service outcome wasn't bad. Their service included a neck and head massage but don't forget to ask about it because they won't offer it to you.

Steve is my barber and he’s a pro.
FINALLY found someone I want to spend the rest of my life with.for 40 mins every 4 weeks.

I have been going to Man Up for years and have had multiple barbers and they’ve all been great. For the past few years Nadia has been my barber and she does such a great job. I’m more than happy with her. She’s always friendly, remembers things I tell her about my life and shows interest in me and what’s going on with me and my family. She truly cares about me beyond just being a customer. I recommend her and Man Up.

It's ok depending on the barber you get. Very professional operation with extra interesting items for sale like underwear and socks etc.

Björn and Mariah and the rest of the Man up team always take such great care of me — been going here since the spring and haven’t looked back.

My first experience at this shop was good. I had Leanne.z as a barber. She gave me a good hair cut. She was friendly and welcoming. I recommend her for your next visit.

First visit there and will definitely be back. Aldo was great! He didn't try to upsell and gave straight forward opinion for my son's hair cut. The cut was exactly what I'd hoped for but the fact that Aldo knew without having me there to explain was awesome!

Recently renewed our insurance at AllWest with the assistance of Manveer K.could not have been more helpful and efficient, great service. JB

Don’t waste your time here it’s expensive and not worth your money. Go to New York barbershop their much better they are a 1 min walk from these clowns.

I have been going to Man up grooming for quite a while now. The place has a nice atmosphere and is family owned. When you walk in, you are always greeted with a hello, a smile and refreshments. The barber I always go see is Nadia and she does an amazing job. I've tried a few different places but they can never get the haircut the way I want it. Thinking back to my first time, Nadia was nice enough to listen and look at photos I provided her with of how I wanted my hair to be cut. She also always offers to put some product in my hair before I go. Overall great place to get your haircut. I highly recommend it.

Great place, I used to live in North Vancouver but have since moved downtown. Despite this, I will still continue to go to Man Up even though it is now a bit out of the way for me. I have never been dissatisfied with their service here and have always walked out with a great haircut

My son will only go to Mariah for his haircut. He's been going here for about 1-2 years now. Only great things to say anout Mariah. Staff is friendly and professional. Clean, modern and upbeat ambience.

The only place I go. Always welcoming and know ahead of time what I want. The only thing that would make it better would be for the government to allow liquor.

Great place for a haircut and a beard trim. It’s snazzy, but not unapproachable. I’ve had three different barbers there and I got great cuts every time. They also give low fades if you ask for one. I have trouble getting a low fade at most places.

Always an excellent experience, service was great, hair cut was great and the general atmosphere is unique and enjoyable.
