The staff are very rude assigned today January 13 2024 night duty. I ordered 3sides, and 1 noodles, but they gave us only 2 sides.

When we asked them for the correction, the cashier rushed us to pay the order and not even bothering to correct the original order. She told me to fall in line again, bec there is a customer after us. The young girl also throw the box of the noodles in front of me. They are also raising their voice like were not a customer. We are treating them nicely and ignoring their attitude but still they are sooo soooo rude! They will ruin your business. They dont care about customer satisfaction.

In the end, will not go back again.

Eat here all the time. Order two dish combo and lots of food. Usually have spicy fish, beef broccoli, noodles. Little waiting

What a rip-off!
For about 18 dollar they give you noodles, veggies and fish pieces small enough. Not worth it. They put cheap noodles and veggies than fish. They refuse to increase the quantity of fish when requested. When they did, they hiked the price to almost 18 dollars.

Rude staff as well. Spoke their unknown language and cancelled us out.

We always buy the noodles and honey chicken garlic at Metrotown food court. But this branch has the worst customer service. The guy in glasses is very rude. He is always rushing the customers. Today I ordered the same food but want to add another chicken so I ask the guy if there’s another chicken that’s not honey garlic. He replied but to my surprise he did not finish my order same with the girl beside him. Both of them ignored me as if I don’t exist. I got my food only after 10+ customers were served. I told the girl cashier what happened. This girl told me to pls understand. What is there to understand?

Found TWO wads of wet paper towels in my noodles. The food also tasted disgusting and bland too. Vegetables were undercooked and the chicken and pork were soggy. Staff was insanely rude and screaming to order faster. Spent over $25 on food that immediately went into the trash. How disappointing.

My friend asked me to bring takeout food for him, so I needed to take a photo of what the place serves. However, the staff did not allow me to take a photo and didn't provide a reason. I felt really bad about their attitude, especially since I later saw pictures of the food on maps. I don't understand why they told me that.

I always love going to Manchu Wok which is why I was so disappointed to see the rude and racist service at this location. We were waiting in line for our turn when we noticed the employee telling two individuals (both wearing a turban) to wait and move back. I assumed they were still deciding on what to order. However, when they approached the employee to finally order, he still ignored them and told them to move back to wait and kept taking other people in line instead. When it was my turn, I stopped and told the employee that the gentlemen were ready to order. However he was not letting them order. I told him I would not order unless he let them order first so he finally did. The gentlemen thanked us for helping them and they said they were ready to order for a while but weren’t being helped for a very long time. The gentlemen were so kind and patient, I felt awful to see this type of service at this location. Please look into this further.

Food was good, but staff were rushing to get my order done. Missing some of my order. They didnt give me my receipt. Also, soda was room temperature no cold drinks.

Food is average. I don’t recommend the fried rice as it just tastes very bland. But the chow mein is slightly better. Portions is not bad. They do gives you a lot of carbs but not really the proteins however.

Service is quite rude. I understand that they wanted to get many customers in and out quickly but. The man with glasses is super rude. Trying to rush us in and out. I now understand why people gives bad reviews for customers service.

Busy restaurant and the food is beyond expectation! The staffs there are nice and helpful.

If you can avoid this place in metrotown, your day will be so much better, the guy serving the rice has such a bad behavior, I hope happiness comes to your life.

My first time visiting Vancouver and I have been impressed by the customer service that many places offer, yesterday I came to this establishment with my family and the way we were treated was very rude, having full of customers is no excuse to yell at each other.

I have learned that not all Manchu Woks are the same. Metrotown in regards to quality, freshness, quantity, and options are far superior to others I've had.

Lots of people seem to complain about the customer service and though it lacks, it's not what I'm going there for.

Atmosphere is food court and I usually take it to go so my rating is good because I love my home

Lougheed Manchu Wok is 100% disappointing after eating from metrotown.

Never buy food from here, they sale 3grade food, garlic chicken seriously? Tell me we're I can find a pice of chicken inside garlic honey chicken? And it's all flour and sugar coated, never

Food was delicious but it gave the whole family food poisoning! 4 people throwing up in 1 apartment rn, mayhem!

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. If i can give this place a zero I would. The chicken is almost raw, the spring rolls are old and not crispy, the food tastes disgusting. The food is inedible. I threw the food and ordered something else.

$15 with very large potion of food. Noodles taste fine, good enough as a food court store. Spicy chicken pretty good. Grill chicken is fine.

The short Asian guy is super rude. He got my order and not even finish my order and jumped to the other customer and asking the next in line without finishing my order. When I asked him where's my order he look at me with sarcastic eyes and speak chinese with co-order and said that, " Your order is with her. " I am ordering four and not yet even finish w/ one order. Better for him to tell me that you order is with my finishing with the other server/worker instead of looking on us with sarcastic look on the customer. Super bad experience and NOT happy and with my family. We do have another customer in line who have witness what happened and even commented and answered him back. Please management tell ur server to be more friendly. Thanks

Why two of the three customer service representatives were oh so rude, aggressive, and argumentative?

Representative Number 1: Female. Wearing a creme/light beige coloured cap with what seems to be short hair. Angry demeanour. Purposely rushing customers to finalize their order. Creating a very aggressive, non-friendly, almost hostile like environment. Didn’t see her smile even once. Almost had the demeanour of a high school headmistress whom lacks common curtesy.

Representative Number 2: Male, wearing glasses, black cap, curly hair, larger frame build. We sure hope he was just having an off day and that he is usually not so aggressive, rude, and argumentative. He told a customer whom was trying to speak with him about a potential issue to simply go away and that he doesn’t care and does not want to deal with it. Our accomplice asked him why he demonstrated such rudeness and aggression, he replied with an “I don’t care … and a ‘you do not know the ‘EXPLETIVE’ story. ” Which is true, we didn’t know the story behind whatever had occurred, but we did notice that the middle aged lady was pleasant and was not hostile and was trying to communicate her point to this staff member, and representative number 1. We do not agree that what we saw warranted such rudeness and aggressiveness from both representative number 1 and representative number 2.

Representative Number 3: Female. Black t-shirt. Smiling. Friendly. Courteous. Creating a normal, even better environment and vibe for customers.

Hate to say it but such an attitude (negative) seems routine at this joint. The question is whether management is proposing intense working conditions on some of these employees, or whether it is select employees themselves whom are choosing to behave the way they do with no logical reasoning. It still doesn’t hurt to be nice and curious though, does it?

We will follow up with a phone call to management in hopes that a humane level of customer service and communications are stressed upon with employees. We trust that the employees noted within negative connotation above are or can be better, and we do wish them the best none the less. People make mistakes, and people are different.
