Bang average. Think Old Spaghetti Factory, but double the price. Food came quickly but service was lack lustre, very casual. Despite having a reservation, table was dirty and we were given crumpled and stained menu's. Food isn't bad, but nothing special.just like any cheap italian joint, except here you will pay $28 for a bowl of pasta.

We had a cup of coffee and some sweets. It was very good especially the Espresso I recommend.

Very good service and friendly stuff.

We had the pastries and they were divine. The young waitress was kind and helpful. We will be back Next time we visit from Mississippi

Went for supper and it was good. Next day went for brunch had the eggs bennnedico and that was fantastic. Brought a friend with us who had just got back from spending 40 days in Florence plus he's Italian his opinion great food. I highly recommend this restaurant 5 stars not high enough.

We went there on Sunday, ordered pizza and salad, pizza on top was burnt, inside was undercooked, I have been to many Italian restaurants I know the taste in pizza we ordered was something off, I asked the server if you want replace it or make new one.they said it’s their policy they can’t change or make new one you have to pay for this one that we just had one slice only bcoz it wasn’t cooked properly.it was very disappointing I haven’t seen any other restaurants do that way, we were forced to pay for the food we didn’t had but only bcoz we ordered, i belong to restaurant industry, it only cost $3/4 only to them, they could have replace it or make new one … all they want to make money

I just actually stepped on my pizza, but it was so delicious that I decided to eat it anyways. I don’t know what else to say except that heat so much phenomenon. Siri turn off now. Phenomena fear. No not fear I’m saying, we we we we we we we we we we we we we we we we we we we we we we we XOXO.

Last night a friend and I went for dinner. To say it was a complete disappointment would be an understatement. Ironically I had been to Mangia with a party the night (Saturday) before - my pizza was fine but another's pizza crust was completely burnt and reluctantly the kitchen prepared another - which was almost equally as burnt - go figure! I live in the Fort so have been to Mangia on multiple occasions. The food can be a little "hit and miss" but so far has never been really bad. Anyway not to be daunted I attended again - it was "really bad"! Both my friend and I started with a shared Caesar salad.very small ($16.00) but ok, completely unremarkable. We both ordered the Spaghetti Vongole ($28.00) - we each had a plateful of mostly empty clamshells (I counted approximately 7 tiny clams in my dish (the size of a flattened pea) and the chef had been very heavy handed with the hot pepper flakes.you could not taste the wine/white sauce it was so "hot"! My friend's had a few bites and had to stop because her lips were "on fire" - I carried on downing about half my dish, all the while "cooling" it with massive gulps of water. We finally were able to have a word with the owner/manager. She advised that her chef was from Milan and had prepared our pasta dish perfectly and the supplier was sending her tiny clams and many empty shells.so clearly this was not her responsibility! She said she could do nothing (and indeed did nothing) as she said she "had to make a living". I can't help but wonder why the cook threw all those empty shells on the plates? No regrets from her or apologies or attempts to make amends. The worst encounter I have ever had in a restaurant with an owner. I felt sorry for our youthful server who was doing her best. The music was excellent.

I should have paid attention to the 1 star reviews despite many raving 5 star reviews. It's not worth a visit. Very slow and unattentive service even when it was just us dining. Food was very salty, even when the saltiness adjusted it's still below mediocre food. Very regretful for eating here.

Where do I start. Wish I had checked the reviews before we went with our friends. We were celebrating 3 birthdays (2 milesones). It took a few minutes for the servers to even acknowledge our presence when we walked inside the restaurant. Our server said “We are seating you in the back” which we thought sounded lovely except once seated we were completely forgotten. A young server finally showed up with 2 jugs of water that she just plunked on the table with 4 glasses and left! She didn’t even smile or engage at all. We were still waiting for someone to at least take our drink orders and after several minutes my friend had to go to the front to ask for service. The server wasn’t even the least bit apologetic that we had been forgotten. Next came the drinks…. Who in the heck makes a Crantini at room temperature? !? !? Seriously, it was awful. I ordered the gnocchi which was over cooked. The wild mushroom cream sauce was tasty though. We did get a free small shot of limoncello I’m assuming in honour of the birthdays. Overall, the 4 of us were extremely disappointed in the service or lack thereof. Will not be going back.

Went there with my family tonight and this is now one of my favorite restaurants in lower mainland. The place is well designed, food is delicious, servers nice, helpful and patient. Live music was icing on the cake. Highly recommended!

To say that I was pleased with dining at Mangia E Scappa is an understatement. What started as a last minute decision and change of dinner choice turned into one of the nicest and most refreshing nights of dinner and entertainment that I have ever had. A day at Fort Langley is a pleasant experience anyway you try it, so I'll start there. After a few hours of shopping and walking with my wife and daughter, my daughter suggested we eat at Mangia E Scappa (as we had stopped there for a snack earlier in the day). It was a Sunday so it was not crowded and it was early enough in the dinner rush that we got a great table and server. The food is incredible. Italian food can come in any number of styles, flavours, authenticity and taste but Mangia E Scappa brought all of that together in one delicious meal. We each chose something different and each menu item was full of flavour. Not too heavy as a lot of Italian food is, but just right. Just very flavourful. The atmosphere was nice and warm and inviting and our server was very nice and attentive. What we didn't know was that the evening was going to end in live music, which I now know that they do every Sunday night. Live jazz, which when you are drinking cocktails and you just want to music to roll over you is perfect. The band was basically a classic jazz duo with a guest singer but all of the classics were played and the musicianship was a pleasure to watch. There are a lot of great spots to eat in Fort Langley but I would (personally speaking) go back to Mangia E Scappa on any given night.

Ordered a pizza while dining out with a friend and it was nothing special - overpriced for what you get. Like others have mentioned, we could not order any pasta dishes and it was unclear as to why… completely bizarre considering it’s an Italian restaurant. My friend ordered a Caesar salad which was completely underwhelming and not worth the price whatsoever. Service was ok but I noticed many tables were kept untidy with leftover plates - I felt like there was no excuse for how dirty it was since there were only a few people dining at the time we were there. Will not be coming back.

Dinner dishes 2stars claim n mussels some not fresh n salty, suppose with white wine sauce listed but came with spicy tomato sauce didnt expect. Prawn and pasta didn't taste right even Olive Garden will be better. Lamb shank ok can be less salty. Meat ball taste from 7/11 frozen pack.
Pizza seems good fresh from clay stove but didn't taste.
Service 3 stars. Server couldn't resolve taste and freshness issues of the dishes.
Also replied no change available for bills.
Suggest to just order fresh made bread and pizza. Avoid other dinner entree.
Good atmosphere there was live music that Sunday evening.

I have never felt so disrespected at a restaurant before! Ordered the Carbonara, it seemed like the forgot me as mine came out at least 5 minutes after everyone else’s. My pasta was clearly undercooked as it was more than Al Dente, the pasta wouldn’t even twirl around my fork and my friends at my table who tasted it agreed. Mentioned something to the waiter, no apology but proceeded to tell me that they cook their pastas Al Dente and that’s just how they do it, in turn I said this is more than Al Dente and my friends backed me up, but there was no offer to take it back and re-fire it, it was more like you don’t like it, we don’t care, you ordered it you have to eat it. Only when my friend called him back to the table to complain about the disrespect did he offer to re-fire it, I was uninterested in even eating it at this point, so I said forget it. We asked to speak to a manager, but there was no manager on-site so the chef came out instead. He came out and started to say that he was Italian, it was fresh pasta and not under cooked. Let’s just say I felt very ganged up on and just baffled this was happening at my friends birthday dinner! They FINALLY agreed to take my pasta off the bill, only to have the chef come back out again after it was all said and done with a small plate of uncooked, fresh pasta so show me that it was in fact fresh pasta- we never questioned if it was fresh or boxed, it was just under cooked and this was taken way too far. I have never felt so disrespected and ganged up on in a restaurant before. I do NOT recommend this place, go somewhere that will give you the respect you deserve, you don’t need to go somewhere for a nice night out only to feel ganged up on

Let me start with saying, we’ve been here twice and there are some positives. This last time we had a great server (Mike) but the pasta unfortunately was not as good this time. My wife ordered the same pasta, pistachio pesto. The pasta tasted like pesto and almost no pistachio. The upsetting part was that the pasta originally came with prawns. My wife is allergic to seafood so we asked for it with chicken. Having come back from Sicily we understood “substitutions” would be limited. However, instead of the kitchen saying no, the dish came with just no prawns, nor was the price adjusted on the bill.
We’ve just come back from Sicily and the first time here we found the pasta to be very authentic! The service then was subpar, almost to the point of us not wanting to return, but the food was delicious!
All in all, we are undecided on wether to return or not. We were willing to overlook the service issue the first time due to the quality of the food… but the lack of respect from the kitchen, and subpar food quality this time has us questioning.

Every time the food is amazing! The Calzone is one of my goto items on their menu. They got a fairly sized menu, from drinks imported, to specialty drinks. 10/10 reccomend!

Beware of mid week meals at this restaurant. Our experience on a Wednesday evening was surprisingly bad, probably my worst ever at a mid-level restaurant anywhere but especially in Fort Langley. From over half the menu being unavailable (no pasta at an Italian restaurant was a first for us) to the food being barely restaurant quality. The chicken tasted like it was warmed in the microwave and not prepared fresh. We had high expectations for the pizza since they have a special pizza oven but it was bland and boring. Not one of us enjoyed our food. They only offer two options for red wine by the glass and only 1 of those was available. And then to top if off the server was unable to split the appy we had shared between the two of us on separate bills and there was no paper towel for hand drying in the washroom. We don't eat out often so this was disappointing to say the least. This experience is so different than our previous visit a few years ago. But I wouldn't chance it again, too many other places to go. Definitely will not be back.

Extremely disappointed by the service in this restaurant. We sat for 15 minutes before we flagged someone down for some service. Three times we asked if our bread was coming and then were brought the wrong orders. Too bad as the food is quite good but won’t be going back anytime soon.

We’ve been here a couple of times, never overwhelmed by the experience but good enough to try again. However when we arrived we were left waiting at the entrance for 5 or 6 minutes, and weren’t attended to until I went in the restaurant and asked a waitress to get someone. It wasn’t we weren’t seen, we were just ignored. But we were lucky, after sitting down a queue statutes at the door with four couples waiting, all being ignored for at least 10 minutes. Finally the people at the front left, followed a couple of minutes latter by another couple.

Our meal started with a Caprese salad, or maybe not, wasn’t anything like any Caprese salad we have had before. This was definitely not a Caprese salad, Half a tomato sliced, a chunk of soft mozzarella in the centre and a pile of packaged greens, there was no salt and pepper on the table or olive oil, which is usually a standard offering with a Caprese salad, this was $19. Not with the money.

My wife meal was adequate, nothing special, although she had ordered it before and thinks it was much nicer last time. I ordered boring Chicken Parma, with spaghetti, which was very undercooked and chewy, how can an Italian restaurant cook spaghetti wrong, The Parma was cold in the middl, and burnt on the outside, and lacked any taste. We were so disappointed with the meal we decided to leave without a desert.

We had a wonderful night at Manga e scappa! Live jazz with an amazing band, and incredible singer. The food and service were excellent, Sunday night is live band night.so talented! Their pastas and home made bread are incredible.

Food was fresh and delicious. Pasta cooked to perfection. Great atmosphere, server was friendly and knowledgeable. Cappuccino worth the wait!

The place was half empty - waited over 15 min for a table. No eye contact or an expansion or anything. We heard from a table nearby that the service is as slow as it gets and they might be short-staffed.
We left.

I had ordered the mussels before, was pretty good.this time loaded with salt. I was told "this was how it is supposed to be" Puckered my face. Could not finish the dish. Tasted like boiled in salt

Very slow service (more than 45mins wait in a half empty restaurant) and subpart food e.g. Very little topping on pizza. Pizza were burned and pasta was somewhat tasteless. Sorry but it was a disappointment.

Classic Italian pizza and pasta, delicious thin crust pizza and home made pasta. A must visit restaurant in Fort Langley. Bonus.live music some nights

A real Italian restaurant with real Italian food and real Italian hosting experience. Alessandro the Chef is amazing as a cook and fantastic as a host. Sidney provided an impeccable service with a great unexpected Italian style.
The homemade limoncello is a must to complete your dinner.

If you want a European restaurant experience, look no further. Food is authentic, delicious, and fresh. We got the pizza, calzone, bread and oil and calamari. Everything was hot, tasted amazing, and was brought to us slowly, so we could enjoy our time there, as opposed to always feeling rushed when dining out by everything arriving all at once. The kitchen was busy but well managed, and we didn't feel like we had to wait too long for our meal either, considering it was a busy, sunny, Saturday lunch. Portions were huge, we couldn’t even finish, and had to take basically half the meal to go. These people know Italian food and proper service.

If you’re going there expecting the servers to appear at your table every 15 minutes to “check” on you, then you might consider going somewhere else, as this is simply not done anywhere outside of North America. Not being interrupted during our meal or conversation by incessantly being asked if everything was good, or if we needed this, that, or the other was such a breath of fresh air honestly. If we needed something we got their attention and that was that.

This is our new go-to place.

Good Italian restaurant, I was a little hesitant at the beginning, a couple of misspelled Italian words on the menu always make me think it's not authentic but it is! We had the calamari fritti and they were crunchy and not greasy. My husband had the gnocchi with gorgonzola, prosciutto and walnuts, very tasty and creamy, I had the fettucine al nero di seppia, highly recommended, the pasta was cooked right (not overcooked.chef is clearly Italian) and the sauce was creamy and delicate.

I will try the pizza next time!

Both the food and service were excellent; the only negative, it felt like we were sitting in the walk-in fridge at times.

Went to Mangia for Valentine’s dinner. The service was absolutely horrendous. It wasn’t overly busy and our server took 25 minutes to come to our table to even acknowledge that we were there. Food was marginal and not hot. Took another 25 minutes to get our bill and this was after we had to go to the bar to ask for it. Highly do not recommend this for an enjoyable experience.

Have been several times before and never had an issue but night was bad. Sat us at a small round table that could barely fit two plates. Ordered the black pasta with prawn and shrimp with lobster sauce. While eating the starter was informed there was no shrimp. I looked at the menu and could not find anything else so decided to go ahead with the dish. After starting to eat the dish realized it was not black pasta, the lobster sauce was a tasteless water, and tasted exactly the same as my companions wine sauce.same thin water consistency. By the time the server came back my companion had all but finished his dish. She asked if I wanted to return mine. I said its a little late now. We had one 9oz glass of wine which we shared and she asked if we would like another, no was our response.we are driving. She apologized that the food was not to our liking and said she had asked the chef about the lobster sauce, he insisted it was correct but the server agreed with us that it did not look like the correct sauce. She brought the bill.no concession for everything that was wrong, and brought us shots of alcohol. HELLO we said that we were driving. Both meals were bland and tasteless and not to the standard we have had before. Extremely disappointing.

Cute restaurant, very attentive waitress, meat and cheese platter was very good!

However, not sure what was up with the thin crust pizza! Although it tasted good, the crust was SO thin and soft that I couldn't hold it. It was the most flaccid pizza with all of the cheese and toppings making a run for it onto the plate. I had to eat it with a fork and knife, not a total disaster.

I will still give this 4 stars because I enjoyed my time there:)

The good: great wood fired pizza (Napoli style) with fun toppings, cute interior, decent Prosecco selection, and attentive service.

The bad: overcooked clams in vongole, and weak carbonara sauce (needed more egg or cheese?) although the pasta was cooked to the right texture.

Bottom line: I’d only come back for wine and pizza if I’m in the area.

Delicious authentic Italian thin crust pizza, good service and nice location in Fort Langley…perfect spot for a coffee or bite after a walk on the Fort to Fort trail. I would recommend the pizza over pasta.

From the moment our party of four arrived the lack of customer service became evident. We stood, seemingly unnoticed and not greeted with a simple “we’ll be with you in a moment” for several minutes as the sparse staff walked past. Our order was taken promptly but, as the establishment became busier, it was impossible to get the attention of our waiter (it appeared there was only one or two others in the whole place). They didn’t bring us the caprese salad or come to take our wine order. After dinner we called the owner over to respectfully let them know our experience this time wasn’t as favourable as the last and she quite rudely went on a tirade about how COVID has made it impossible to staff and we should be lucky she’s open. I can certainly sympathize with any business in this crazy time but it’s the business’s responsibility to manage by limiting seating or plainly stating that waits can be expected, not lashing out at customers for expecting good customer service. They are, after all, in the customer service industry…we won’t be going back or recommending it to anyone.

What a terrible experience! We were virtually ignored for most of the night by our server and bus boy. Once we got our food, no check in, no more drinks, no take away the plates…. We even had to wait a long time to pay!
The worst part was, we asked to speak to the owner/manager and when we told her nicely how disappointed we were with the service she said” I hope so, we are so low on staff, like all of the other restaurants in COVID, I should have closed down”. We agreed that we could see it was busy and said that even a hello at the door would have helped (we were ignored for 7 minutes). The owner then said “can you hear yourself? ! ” And walked away with a disgusted look on her face.
Wow, appalling, unprofessional and so disappointing. We feel sorry for the staff. And will never return.

The pizza reminded me so much of the pizza I had in Sicily. The slight wood smoke flavor really makes it taste like Italy! Loved it.

Zero stars. The most horrific dinning experience. I ordered the carbonara and it was 100% tasteless. I asked our server (who was also traumatized from management) for salt. There was none. I asked to return the dish as I didn’t want it. The answer was not possible. After 45 minutes of back and forth they offered 50% off. The manager refused to come talk to us. A total nightmare.

First of all if you go here, don't bother tipping. Not a cent of the tips actually make it to the employees, the owner Gulia takes all of them. I worked here for 2 months without getting paid, and when I asked when I would get my paycheck, Gulia told me it was disrespectful and fired me. I have yet to receive the correct amount of money for the time I worked there and she will not return my messages. It's a miracle she has any employees considering the way she treats them.constantly shouting at everyone (including customers) and changing the way things are done just so she can tell you that you are doing it wrong. I would not recommend eating here as you are risking the chance that she will actually be there for once in her life and shout at you.

I've been here a number of times for work lunches and generally find it pretty good. For my most recent visit they didn't have a fair number of items from their drink menu, their brunch menu and the dessert menu. Luckily they had the items that I ordered but that was not the case for others at my table. Their pizzas are tasty and their calamari appetizer is good too. I quite enjoyed their outdoor courtyard dining area as well.

Great authentic Italian food, we've been here pre covid and were happy to see they were still open and thriving. Food was amazing to my husband and I and we love pasta and pizza. The service and atmosphere are great.

Great place for a family supper. Food was fresh & tasty. One of our favourite Italian restaurants in the Fraser Valley. Great selections available to take home from their market too!

Went there with my girlfriend and ordered vongole and carbonara. Both pastas were badly seasoned and bland but the spaghetti in vongole tasted literally like raw flour. We asked the server if they could do anything about it. But the server took our food and came back with it untouched. The server told us that the chef believes that the noodle was cooked and asked us if we’ve ever tried Italian food before. My gf told him that the noodle tastes like raw flour and she cannot eat it but the server kept saying that this is the “Italian way” and that we were wrong. The server never came back to our table until I asked him for the bill and he came back a while after with a little cookie and a shot of juice and told us that it’s on the house. He literally gave us dessert when we couldn’t even have our dinner because the food was inedible. We ended up paying for the two overpriced dishes of pasta which we couldn’t even eat and left the restaurant hungry. And yes, we’ve tried Italian food many times even in Italy and this restaurant was by far the worst. Nice wine though.

Today I visited the ristorante with a group of 10 Ducati motorcyclists. The service we received was welcoming and courteous. The food, I started off with salad and pizza, finishing off with tiramisu and an espresso. Everything tasted great, and the Italian music gave that little extra atmosfera. On the side note -although we had a reservation and were running late, the staff accommodated us. The order of the meals and the service thereof was prompt. Thank you!

The worst restaurant ever. The service was awful, the food tasted nothing close to good Italian food, the pasta was undercooked and overpriced. I would never visit this place ever again and I regret wasting my time and money here. There are so much better Italian restaurants in Vancouver, I see no reason to visit this place.

Five stars for sure. Why: Today, Saturday, June 19th we had a reservation but arrived 1hour late. Yet, Mangia E Scappa still accommodated us (a group of 10!). Everyone in our group was happy with the food and service. We even managed to park all our Italian motorcycles at this Italian ristorante.

I visited a couple of months ago for the second time. Service was very slow, they were forgetting things we had asked for and even the food did not come together for all of us (6), food was okay, although the pizza was pretty tasteless, I don't think I will be visiting again.

A great litl Italian place with home made, old world, charm! Tasty menu's for food, desert and bevies are there for you to wander through, choose from and enjoy. We really enjoyed the thin crust pizza and all the deserts! Cheers to a nice litl place!

Food and atmosphere are good. It's a bit pricey and the train may bother some people when it rumbles by across the street.

Kitchen had some problems so our food came at different times some people finished before others got their meals would have been nice of the wait staff to let us know there were issues food was good though I'll try it again

I had an unpleasant experience with this restaurant. It unfortunate because it looks like a nice place. I also waited a long time for my food and the quality was subpar.

The first and the last time eating there! Service is terrible-it took 30min for just ordering food and after almost 1 hour the taste was not even close to Italian! I could describe the taste of the food but I don't want to go through that experience again.

Awful service and terribly overpriced. We were in a party of four and we waited for over an hour for two pizzas and we saw many other tables who came after us receive their food first. The server's had a snobby attitude and only smiled to our group after we gave a tip to them. The pizzas were actually not that bad but they were so small and definitely not worth an hour wait or for its price. Not recommended.

I'm giving one star just because ambient looks nice, otherwise would be 0. Four of us came for a dinner and they seated us outside, because everything was full inside. We waited for 25min just someone to come and take our order. Finally the bus girl came out on the patio and my husband have to call her for the service. I would've left, but my husband really wanted to try their italian pizza. She went for the waitress. We saw the staff were arguing and finally came a girl who said were not a waitress but will take our order. She apologized for the waiting and said that she'll try to speed up our order because we waited so long. We ordered 3 pizzas and a pasta and waited for the next 40min! In those 40 min we asked 3x if we can move inside because we saw a few empty tables that were just sitting there uncleaned and they said they'll check, but nothing! Btw it was already late and they don't have a heaters outside (like usually restaurants do) and we waited sooo long so we freezed ourselves! Finally, when they came with the food (3 waitress came to bring us 4 plates), one by one, so we needed to ask each of them to move inside, because each said that will check and dissapeared! Finally, the third waitress moved us inside. Food came without cuttlery! Then we needed to beg for a cuttlery as well. Finally, second waitress that we asked returned with just 2 sets of cuttlery. And then she went back to grab 2 more sets of cuttlery! Can you believe it? But there's more! I've ordered pasta and got just fork and knife but no spoon! The pasta was partially glued on the ends (because was not stirred while cooking)! And pizza was not the best as well! Thanks God we were hungry, so the food was edible! Oh yeah, did I mention that we ordered a Coke and they brought us fountain Coke, without warning, and charge it like it's the Coke from a can/bottle!
And in the end after everything, we needed to beg for a bill as well 2x!
The worst service ever!

Caesar salad was very good. Pizza was ok, I think it was called the Vesuvious. Loved the chewy thin crust but found the tomato sauce lacked depth of flavour. I would still go back and try the other types of pizza, though as everything was quite fresh and would like to give this place another try

Located in the heart of Fort Langley; the location sets the perfect back drop for the cozy, comfortable, chic, uptown and friendly small town vibe of the area and the restaurant. I have been to this restaurant a couple times already now. I really enjoy the variety on their menu and food tastes really good as well. The service is really great and the people working there are also very friendly. I would reccomend everyone to come here and check it out.

I got back to my office and felt so bad, I went home and vomited, cold chills etc.
Later that evening I felt a lot better and and am at work today feeling fine.
Trevor suggested that I must have got the flue.i am not sure if he said sorry or that's to bad.just that I must have the flue. I don't have the flu Trev!

Good but not great. At least that is my experience. On a better day perhaps four stars and yes, I am a tough marker. This was for dinner.

The pasta portion for a $28 plate was relatively small. I also found $28 a little too high. After all pasta prices at the best downtown Vancouver restaurants are less or no higher than this. But yes, this is Fort Langley and the choices of dining places are limited, and mainly wealthy people (the locals) don't seem to mind the higher prices.

Overall, the service was generally good, and the ambiance is fine. Parking is limited and hard to get nearby at times. The wine menu was good, but again not great and frankly prices for wines were also a little high (based on the product sold), considering this is not an established high end restaurant.

But equally, it is a solid three to three and a half star. You can tell they try hard, and the attached daytime Italian deli is a good shop for Italian fare.

I don't think anyone will be dissapointed. It is a very nice place that needs to tweak their menu, and perhaps lower prices for their smaller pasta plates and some wines.

Really good Italian pizza place! Just I'm Italian and some pizza's are a little too much Canadian (I'm taking about the ingredients in top), but they are really good! And here is difficult to find a good pizzeria! Also the place is really nice!

My meal (the black fettuccini with creamy sauce and prawns) was absolutely delicious. We had Chocolate Mousse gor dessert and it was the best that I've ever had. Service was excellent, very pleasant ladies. I will be coming back to this restaurant soon

Good food, very well placed location at the end of the biking trail, just perfect for "refuelling" before heading back to the trail.

This was the first visit and it will not be my last. The staff was very friendly and the food exceptional.

Lovely setting, and I really want to like this restaurant, but out of four dinners only one was an acceptable meal. The problems were undercooked pasta (and that was a dinner special), chopped raw garlic over the dish instead of properly cooked garlic, and gnochi that was the proper taste but not formed into anything other than a cut tube. The menu seems too large for the kitchen.

Came in right before the dinner rush, they accommodated us despite not having a reservation and were super friendly, from the owner opening the front door for us, to the greeters and server providing top notch service.

Food quality is fantastic, and the location's atmosphere is great. The reviews complaining about the pizza quality have never had the chance to try authentic Italian pizza by the sounds of it, have to say that this comes pretty close, down to the finest detail of the style of the plate on which the pizza is served.

Our dinner was delicious and the service was friendly and professional. Very nice evening. Only negative comment was from on of the other customers who felt the cream puffs they ordered were a little past their prime. I look forward to my next visit.

Had brunch, I ordered the chicken parmigiana, my niece ordered the creamy pasta, and we had bread and oil with the meal. Mu food was fine, My niece's was fine as well. My wife ordered the panini and soup, but wasn't happy that the panini was more like a wrap then a panini, she did not eat it. We were told we could not substitute and should have read the menu better. Not the greatest experience, we won't be back

Went to this restaurant for dinner last night for my boyfriend's birthday with his family. It was our first time here, and it was beyond disappointing. I feel bad that his family spent too much money here when there are so many better places in Fort Langley. If you love Italian food and dislike getting ripped off then I would recommend going literally anywhere else.

They were understaffed with only one server, and it took at least 20 minutes before we were greeted and another 20 to get our drink orders. Everything on the menu is expensive, and nothing we ordered came even close to living up to it. The $26 charcuterie board had stale bread and barely any meat and cheese, and the calamari was rubbery and flavourless. All four of us had to add salt to our pasta dishes, which is a pretty ridiculous for an Italian restaurant. If you're going to charge $28 for pasta, at least make sure your chef knows how to season dishes.

In any other scenario we would have complained, but we didn't want to ruin the night since it was a special occasion and we were trying to have a good evening. I guess they justify their prices by calling it authentic Italian food, but since my boyfriend is a sous chef who went to Venice this summer I really wouldn't agree with that. Italian food like this just makes me sad when there's so much better out there.
