Quick, efficient and helpful. Not the cheapest option available but they do good work and responded when I voiced concerns.

I am extremely disappointed with overcharging by Maple Leaf and the owner’s failure to return my several messages to contact me regarding this. I called Maple Leaf on July 27 regarding a problem with our freezer and arranged for a technician to come out on the morning of July 28. Sasha came as scheduled, spent 1-1/4 hours to diagnose the problem and recommended that he replace the defrost timer. The cost was quoted at $450 for labour (which he explained was for the service call fee plus about 2 hours of additional labour to remove and replace the part), plus the cost of the part and tax. I agreed and paid the full amount in advance as I was told that this was necessary. Sasha advised that the part would be in by August 3 and we arranged for him to come back to install it on August 16. I called Maple Leaf numerous times on August 9,10 and 11 to confirm that the part was in and was advised that the part was not in. I received messages from Sasha and then the owner, Vlad, which said that they were waiting for the part and would let me know when it was in, but there had been no follow up.
I was very disappointed in the lack of urgency to get the part, since it had already been two weeks for a part that was to be in within a few days, so I spent considerable time calling and was able to source the part via the two Canadian distributors such that it could be in Vancouver in time for the August 16 appointment. I provided this information to Vlad and he then arranged for the part to be shipped. The appointment was rescheduled to August 17 and Sasha arrived 3 hours late, with no thanks for the many hours that I had spent previously to source the part and get it delivered to Vancouver after Maple Leaf had done no follow up. He spent only 25 minutes to complete the repair, rather than the 2 hours of additional labour for which I had paid.
On August 18, I emailed Vlad to ask about the labour charge, which seemed high since the total time for the job, including diagnostics, was less than 1-3/4 hours and the cost of this would have been far less than what I paid. I had paid the full invoice in advance in good faith based on the quotation from Sasha that this included two hours of his additional labour to install the part. I requested that Vlad review the actual time spent and adjust the invoice to correctly reflect this.
I heard nothing from Vlad in the next 10 days, so I followed up on August 31 by phone and again by a further email. It is now four months later and I still have had no response to my emails and phone call. The poor handling of this repair, the overcharging and now this lack of response is completely unacceptable. I would definitely not recommend this company for any appliance repair work.

We had a very old stove that needed fixing. Unfortunately, it couldn’t be done.

This company has a policy that if they cannot fix the appliance, they will not charge you the service call. Do make sure to read the policy details and exceptions.

Customer service is outstanding! Olivia and the others were very helpful in the misunderstanding I had, and resolved my issue, relatively quickly and to my complete satisfaction.

I highly recommend Maple and will use their services again if needed.

Yuriy quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what was happening with my fridge and what my options were. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient and answered all my questions. He gave very professional service.

They couldn't repair my washer without the spare part, and the waiting time was two months. I decided to buy a new washer, and they refunded me $150 for a visit—a lovely gesture.

I had Yuri, one of their technicians came over to look at our Whirlpool dryer for diagnostics as I don’t know anything about washers/dryers. True enough, he was very informative and taught me the signs to watch for for a blocked pipeline as our check vent light has been going off for a while now. He taught me what to do to fix the issue and to prevent it from happening again. At the end, he reassured me that our equipment is good and functional. Just had to deal with the blocked duct/pipeline. Thanks again, you guys are amazing. You know what you are doing 100%. I highly recommend.

I contacted Maple Leaf Appliance Repair late Sunday evening and spoke to a person who arranged to have a technician come to my home on Monday morning. Yuriy called before he arrived, came when he said he would, diagnosed the issue in a matter of minutes and my washer was working 30 minutes later. Yuriy tested my washer a few times before he left and also shared some cleaning and operation tips to help me use my washer more effectively and extend it's life. Thank you for the responsive and efficient service!

Repair person was on time, explained everything clearly and showed me the previous damages plus new pieces. Repair was done in a very timely fashion & they cleaned up. Nice!

John was excellent! He took apart our dryer and showed me exactly what was wrong, and how we could keep our dryer running well for years to come. He even shortened our vent hose to reduce lint buildup in future. 100% would use again.

Online booking tool is a bit cumbersome and when booking an available time a service rep had to call back to reschedule as it was already booked. This is the reason for the 4* review otherwise it would be 5
