Driver blew a stop sign making me vere into oncoming lane to avoid him, luckily no cars coming in the oncoming lane. Honked at the guy and stares at me like a moron with no "sorry I'm an idiot" wave or even mouthing "sorry". Called the office and asked for management/dispatcher and get put through to Voicemail with no response now after a full business day. Probably "speaks" to their method of operations.

This company is currently a shell of its former greatness struggling to get back.some newer vehicles in the fleet. DO NOT drive any of the splitbody rear load trucks.i dont know how they get them to pass d.o. T inspection but you will have trouble.they need to establish a clear employment program in writing other than the"do as i say" attitude from managment which they use to try to cover glaring inadequacies in there current business format.glad to be gone after only 30 days with my 5 years industry experience with only 2 companies.onward and upward for all hopefully.

I thought it was garbage day so I put my bins out, and it was just recycling day. They actually came back and took my garbage when it wasn't till the following week. That was so nice of them and I appreciate it so much as my bins were full. Thank you so much

This company hasn’t responded to email complaint about recycling employees not doing their job properly. Employees do not take the time to take all the recycling boxes and when confronted, are incredibly rude and dismissive.

Their drivers constantly cross a legal picket line. They should be ashamed of themselves, Despicable business practices.

Drivers coming in saying they have to feed their families thinking that will make it ok to cross a legal picket line.spoke to them to give insight into why and the guy laughed at me. Same company hires driver that have no regard for speed limits in 15km zones after constantly being told to slow down. There are some great disposal companies out there for companies to use. This is not one of them. Shame on this company

No option for no stars? For the past 4 years we have gone from late garbage/green pickup (by a couple hours), to late as in 7pm and then as it not at all. Each week they don't show and then say they will come the next day and don't show. The major issue is that we live in a bear risk priority area as designated by the municipality. So our garbage goes out by 6am each day sometimes for 3 days in a row. And even though we use bear locks, unfortunately they are getting smarter and each week we have garbage and greens being dragged around by the bears. The real problem with this is that now they're becoming domesticated so each month more of them are getting destroyed. All it would take is some decent communication. Our community would make arrangements to put our bin out later or on a different day altogether but they never communicate anything. They just string u a long and don't show. It's been happening for years and deteriorating more and more each week. Completely unnecessary euthanization of these beautiful animals and completely unacceptable professionalism by this company. Dispicable IMO

Worst disposal company ever hired by our complex. They always forget to empty either a green bin or garbage. It's 30+ degrees out and once again the organics haven't been emptied. And surprise surprise the office is closed.

Maple Leaf had a contract with a neighboring business, the drivers damage our retaining wall every time the bin is emptied. The office refuses to pay for any damage because we do not have video.
The drivers who spoke to us were rude & abusive, with a complete disregard for our property and the managers supported them. Not a company I would ever use and now that the business beside us has terminated their contract I thankfully never need to deal with such an unscrupulous organization.

I was almost hit by one of your drivers this afternoon while on my bike with right of way in Port Coquitlam. Your driver did not fully stop, or follow the basic rules of the road fixing right of way. If I had not stopped they would have hit and likely killed me. Absolutely shocking! I’ve already filed a complaint via email.

So my initial experience with maple leaf disposals was great. Service was awesome and I was recommending them to other stable owners. I owned my OWN manure bin dumpster that was picked up and dumped on an on call basis. Approximately every 2-3 months depending on how many horses I had at one time. I also had a dumpster garbage bin with waste connections of Canada and that in fact was their bin. Upon sale of the property I had to cancel both services. Waste connections of Canada cancelled no problem and Released me from my contractual obligations with understanding that moving from a Farm to a condo I had no longer needed service. Maple leaf disposal on the other hand fined my almost 5 thousand dollars for ending the contract early and upon numerous emails they eventually reduced it and allowed me to set up a two year payment plan. The woman from waste maple leaf collections was threatening court if I didn’t pay.
I am suprised such a big company doesn’t have better business practices. I no longer recommend this company! I had my own manure bin and it was only picked up and dumped when I called. And the initial fine before reduction was $4787.01! Terrible business

Spoke with someone in their “sales department. ” One of the most unprofessional sales professionals I’ve ever spoken with. Doesn’t know how to listen. Cuts you off in mid-sentence. Doesn’t seem to care. In my opinion “sales” is a very bad career choice for this person!

The garbage disposal drivers are terrible. They hit my fence causing damage and drove away without even stopping. When I approached their operations manager they demanded video evidence despite my parents eye witnessing the incident. Rather than taking responsibility for their actions, they ran away saying it wasn't them. I have now installed multiple cameras and the drivers are aware they are being watched so they don't dare do it again. I have been in touch with the restaurant manager who is using the bins and unfortunately they are stuck with this company until the contract expires. Do not do use this company as they are not socially responsible and their drivers are careless when it comes to respecting others property.
