4 years after puchasing the 2019 Hyundai Kona Ultimate and the Canadian SUV of the year, manufacturer and dealership have a tarnished reputation. After following all Hyundai's regular maintenance the car engine had to have a walnut blast due to carbon build up, had the instrument panel replaced (warranty), and the catalytic converter replaced (warranty). Maple Ridge Hyundai says the car is safe to drive but upon trying to trade the car in to another dealership [Marv Jones Honda] they deemed there is something wrong with the transmission. Again, Maple Ridge Hyundai say the car is fine. Buyer beware and buy another manufacturer's car, SUV.

Recently, I test drove and put a deposit down for a Kona EV. In a few short months, I got a call that my EV was ready to be picked up. Everyone was fantastic and I am happy with my new EV.

If you anyone wants to see how unprofessionalism is going on Hyundai then please visit them and do business. There are many people who try to talk to you very nicely and as soon as you gave them deposit then they will play with you. General manager scott is also good at yelling and shouting.

We just bought a 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Ultimate package. Lyle Kleckner was absolutely amazing. I phoned every dealership in the lower mainland and he was by far the nicest, most helpful from the very first phone call. I was very lucky to think of Hyundai because it has been a great exsperiance buying a new car from them. Yes them, I may of had a sales rep but I have been helped by a half a dozen individuals all working together to ensure a plesent exsperiance.

Horrible service department.

Extremely rude staff. I dropped off my car for warranty work and I come back to see them charge me for maintenance fee when I specifically requested warranty work for my rear brakes as they make noise. The person helping me was extremely rude and threw the papers at me.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

They also forgot to refund our deposit when we picked up the car and didn't even bother to contact me until I noticed it wasn't applied on the car purchase.

Lyle, one of the salesman there was a pleasure to deal with, and the reason this rating gets 4 stars. He himself was 5 stars. No pressure, no hassle, was prompt with his appointments with me and made it easy to contact him via email. He was able to provide us with the information we needed and did it is a relaxed manner.

The rest of the staff I can't say the same for. When I had tried contacting other members none of them bothered to reply. But when I actually went to the dealership and Lyle came out to talk to me it was great service from that point from him. Thanks Lyle!

Never book a car with them and give them the deposit. They will just make excuses about delivering the car. After struggling for 2 months I bought a car from another dealership and there service was good. I highly recommend not to deal with them.

Maple Ridge Hyundai and Hyundai Canada were amazing. They delivered a great car in approx. 8 months; kept us updated monthly on the delivery and answered all of our questions. We have been a Toyota customer for years but they still do not have any idea when they will get the car we ordered from them (4 months before we ordered the Hyundai) and never at any time updated us on the expected delivery date and could not answer many questions. We were really disappointed in their whole system and doubt we would ever go back to Toyota in the future.

DO NOT visit this location! Try any other location you’ll get a better customer service!

I was super fortunate to have someone point me in the direction of Maple Ridge Hyundai. For the record, I live in Vancouver and generally don't venture beyond a 20-block radius from my home, but, to paraphrase an old ad from my childhood, "It's worth the drive to Maple Ridge! " Brent is a down-to-earth and pleasant person to deal with. He asked all the right questions and found a great fit for me. He didn't just try to sell me "A" car, he tried to find me "MY" car. This is a long overdue review of maybe my favorite car dealership in the lower mainland.

After getting TERRIBLE service at the Hyundai in Langley, I was destined to find a Palisade with captain chairs. Fortunately for me This location had just ONE that was available. (this was in 2020).

WARES is probably the best salesman I've ever dealt with. He consistently goes over and beyond for his clients. I can call Wares ANYTIME with any question and he is never too busy to answer the most TRIVIAL of question. I have never received the type of service I have gotten from him after a sale in any of my previous purchases (and I have bought from both Lexus and BMW brand new and these are considered "luxury" cars- those salesmen have never ever called me to check in with the vehicle and I owned each car over a year) It the space of 6 months Wares probably checked in with me maybe 2 or 3 times and continues to do so!

Lani, the service Manager is beyond a sweetheart! I look forward to EVERY SINGLE SERVICE just to have to a good chat with her! She is super funny and overall just amazing!

The team that cleans the car is also exceptional. I have paid for a luxury interior detail and was more than happy with how my car was returned to me. It looked BETTER than the day I picked it up off the lot when I purchased it. I strongly recommend investing in a yearly luxury detail especially if you have kids! You will not be disappointed.

Chelsea is also great! She sat with us and was patient while our kids went mad. She took the time to go over all options and advised us what she thought was best for us.

The dealership is clean and they are constantly giving back to their local community.

IF YOU NEED A HYUNDAI (or other used car) YOU CANNOT GO WRONG HERE!

Maple Ridge Hyundai is one of the best dealerships to work with. Once I decided I wanted to finance a new Hyundai Kona N-Line, I was referred to Brent Miscisco and Maple Ridge Hyundai by a friend. Overall, I can say that my experience was excellent! Brent did not pressure me at all and was very straightforward. I knew exactly what I was getting into and all fees were disclosed to me before committing to the purchase. When I came to pick up the car, there were no surprise fees or add ons. I also did not feel pressured to add anything on when working with Chelsey in the Finance department.

I stopped in to use their EV charger for my Kona. They had a car on the charger when I showed up. They actually took it off the charger to allow me to charge my car for 45 min. Talk about amazing customer service!

Least professional dealership I ever dealt with, horrible deal on trade in, high pressure sales tactics, even resorted to credit shaming me in front of other customers when they finally gave me all the numbers, constant recalls, brakes went right away, no second key no owners manual, now that I'm fixing my brakes I discover there is no way to take tires off because there's no key for the hubs, supposed to be included, they even said it was, but we're going to charge me to cut them off, avoid at all costs, you can do better anywhere else, literally, I hope this review helps unsuspecting consumers, they do not deserve your business

Had a great experience at Maple Ridge Hyundai. As a young woman, I was not looking forward to going to car dealerships in fear of being taken advantage of or dealing with "sleazy"/stereotypical cars sales people. This however, was not the case. My salesperson was CJ and he provided a kind, welcoming experience and was very knowledgable about the vehicle makes/models. I appreciated that he was not pushy or aggressive in any way. Moreover, this was my first time buying a car from a dealership, and Karen from finance was very informative about the financial aspects and was able to explain everything in a clear, concise way. Karen was even kind enough to lend me her personal vehicle as a loner car as there were none on the lot at the time. Overall, this was a very positive car buying experience.

My salesman Oliver was a awesome to deal with as he took the time to ask questions in what I was looking for in a car and the amount I wanted to spend. He never put pressure on me at all to buy just showed me all options. I appreciated that type of salesperson. Chelsea the finance lady was also great to deal with and gave me some good deals. I live about 60km from this dealership and as me and my wife were passing by that region, we decided to take a peek at the new Tucson. Lyle welcomed us and with a friendly approach showed us the new car. He was understanding that we were just a casual visitor and never tried to push the sale, even though he let us test drive the car.
Long story short, we loved the car, but found other dealerships to not have the same laid back friendly touch as this one and we happily came back one month later to purchase the new car there. I guess we don't mind to drive 60km to be treated as valued clients. We highly recommend this dealership.

I am a big fan of a competitors product but I have noticed an inordinate ratio of shiny Hyundai's from Maple Ridge Hyundai over the last bunch of years. It's obviously a place that can put a deal together. With due diligence I decided to see if they had something to sway my preference.long story short Bev and I love our Sorrento. I did apologize to my after noon car appointments. Lyle Kleckner is knowledgeable and Marcus and Scott tapered the boxes to fit our story. It is more car than I expected and they hit my finance numbers with cap room (Canuckism)

We bought a used car from them in September of 2020. They told us the timing belt had been replaced as part of their safety inspection. 3 weeks ago my water pump blew, brought it to a mechanic to get it fixed only to be told the reason it blew was because they shoved a timing belt on that was too small which caused the bearing to snap. So they either lied and didn't replace the timing belt, or they used what they had instead of ordering the proper part. Either way it was a $1500 fix for us. Not impressed. Will never go here again or recommend them to anyone. We have been trying to get ahold of the manager to discuss this for weeks now, but they never call back and are never available. So I'm leaving a review instead.

My son's 2011 Sante Fe's engine light was on. He brought it to Maple Ridge Hyundai to evaluate the problem. It was determined that basically everything was wrong with the car that they originally sold him with the end quote resulting in $9600.00 plus. I was shocked. He still owes $4000 on the car that THEY sold him. As a selling tactic.they told him that they would LET him trade it in and purchase a new vehicle. My question to my son was.what part are they replacing? The car? Brought us out to the lot to show us a 2014 vehicle with over 125k on it for 18k plus tax. Their quote even included windshield wipers for $73.50 plus tax.how desperate is that? Being a female that has been taken advantage of by car sales in the past. I find this whole situation disgusting and insulting to anyone's intelligence. At the end of the day.he would be approximately 25 k in debt with a 2014 vehicle with over 125k on it. I would never buy a car from these blatant crooks. I am guessing that they are assuming low intelligence and the inability to speak with people with experience with automobiles. I was disgusted since I am the daughter and niece of life time mechanics. Let's just say.not impressed! I would not recommend Maple Ridge Hyundai.

We purchased our used 2012 Santa Fe from Brent Miscisco two years ago and I have waited until now to post a review. Our sales experience was great; no hype, no pitch. Brent listened to what we needed and came up with a deal that matched what we wanted. The thing that tells about his character is that, two weeks after we bought the car, we got a call from Brent saying that the previous owner had found her tonneau cover and we could come pick it up if we wanted. Didn't try to sell it to us, just gave it to us for free. He has also been warm and friendly whenever I take the car in for servicing, not trying to sell anything, just to be a nice guy. I waited because I wanted to see if our initial experience stood the test of time. It does.

Recently I had the pleasure of dealing with the staff at Maple Ridge Hyundai. I’ve been buying cars since the 80’s and my experience here was nothing less than “White glove service”
Originally, my wife and I had simply visited the dealership for a “key ring” and a “number plate holder” for her Tucson. One of the sales representatives “Wares” was only too happy to help. He made my wife feel at home and this was important as the Tucson is my wife’s first Hyundai.
While there, I enquired about the Veloster n. I was advised to come back in two weeks as they would have a 2021 Racing Red Veloster n in the showroom.
I did, and after a nice spirited test drive, I decided to see what it would take to pull me out of my Honda Civic Si and into the Veloster n.
Between Wares, Jay and Karen, all I can say is that the car buying experience was outstanding.
In fact all of the staff at MapleRidge Hyundai were friendly and accommodating and I really feel like I’ve joined a family.
I’m now the proud owner of the 2021 Hyundai Veloster n in Ignite Flame and I’m proud to say that I’m now part of the Hyundai family.
