Marble Slab Creamery

Floor was horrible it looked like something of a horror show. There was a number of tissues bottle caps and ice cream drips it’s like the staff have no attention nor care to the hygiene of the Creamery. Nearly made me revisit my dinner.

The flavour I picked was too soft and the person didn't seem to know what she was doing. It wasn't busy. Scooping ice cream isn't that hard. Bad experience. Would never go back.

Worst shop for marble slab franchise. I had craving for salted caramel marble slab ice cream but the door was locked even if we reached way before closing time. Initially they ignored us but after few knocking the store attendant came at the door and told us the store is closed.

Really! Marble slab is the only franchise I want to have ice creams from and they have degraded their customer service really to a great extent.

Extremely stale ice cream cone ruining the taste of the entire ice cream from the very beginning! Some of the toppings are also very stale like the brownie, nuts. Stay away or just go with fresh fruit ice cream. Also the attendants don’t wear gloves and this does require a lot of mixing. I noticed them putting a band aid on the finger and continuing to make ice cream.

More strange things. One attendant weighed ice cream as per size chosen and the other just slammed it. Also too little staff and two people just jamming it with such a huge huge queue. Felt bad for them

With one spoon of this ice cream, I tasted nothing but artificial flavour from coffee and mango. I haven't had this bad ice cream for a long time.very poor quality.at least I tried. I should've gotten Hagandaz coffee ice cream as I usually do whenever I have a craving for ice cream.

Worst place i dont know if the owner got changed or what seriously disgusting spent like 7-8 bucks on an ice cream and found 3 long white hairs in the ice cream yukkkk i felt so sick after wont recommend to anyone the girl who was making it she also removed something from top of my ice cream like a hair when she was mixing it up atleast wear hairnets when you make it all the girls inside are with open hairs

If you have a friend who gives you ice cream from here, it means you have a very, very wonder kind friend.
The ice cream is expensive, small portion and super hipster. Strawberries ice cream taste not sour and more creamy and is extremely colourful. Neon pink colour. If you keep it in a home fridge it will get very hard to scoop so leave it out to melt a little.

Unfortunately they don't hire enough staff. So this poor girl works like a dog alone on a Friday and Saturday night. She has no one to take till or fill containers or clean snd people just keep adding to the line. My friend was here last Saturday with three kids and the same thing happened. I guess management is trying to save a buck at the staff and customers expense and experience. No break tonight!

Such bad customer service. One employee working. I waited 40 mins in line and when I went to order didn’t even have stuff to make milkshakes.

I want to echo the below comments about the great customer service. The one comment about there being terrible customer service sounds like a "Ken" and should be ignored.

I have been here a few times and I find the staff here wonderful. Very friendly and attentive which I was even more impressed due to the staff looking like highschool or freshman college students. Most jobs that have that age demographic don't generally have great customer service but this place is different.

As for the ice cream, I thoroughly enjoy it. Lots of flavours and you get to add your own adds ins which i Haven't seen any other ice cream place do and I have been to many. They have a layout like a subway and prepare the ice cream with mix ins infront of you. Cool to watch!

I also wanted to single out the staff member who helped us today at around 3pm at the marine way location (September 12th 2021). She was the only one working on a extremely busy day but handled every customer with great care & attention. I hope if the manager reads this that that staff member gets recognized.

Great ice cream, a lot of choices of flavours. You can add anything you want to your ice cream or milkshake and the staff is always friendly

Customer service amazing, it was my first time and the attendant was very patient and explained all to me. Delicious, specially because you can add any top that you want. Loved!

Very poor customer service. They asked one of our family member to leave due to maximum of 5 guests are allowed, which there is no sign saying so. It 's a hot afternoon and we all wore masks. I hold my youngest, and We already lined outside over 15 min with temperature over 28 degree. We're all sweating. We left right away. Will not come back for sure.

Great place to treat yourself and others during hot and sunny days. The employees are kind and patient on what we would want to order. They would recommend what flavors to get and what toppings to add on. Give this place a taste when have that craving for dessert.

Ever since the new owners took over its been a disappointment every time. Their ice cream is always melted, or they’re out of product. I can never get what I want. 3 times and 3 different excuses. No point wasting your time here.

Perfect place to visit for an ice cream fix. Staff is pleasant. Good variety of toppings. Pricing is reasonable (if one does not get too greedy for too many toppings).

This location has good COVID safety protocols in place to limit number of patrons inside. All staff wear masks behind a plexiglas panel.

Missing Graham cracker, the younger staff were rude on the past 2 visits last visit got the cake and it missing

Worst customer service out here.we arrived at this place at 8: 30 and it took them till 9: 00 to make my order. I was very disappointed with the wait it took me to get a simple ice cream. I was better off getting Mcdonald’s.would have been a lot faster.the wait is not worth the money.the people took five minutes to scoop one scoop. I am very dissatisfied with this service and will never be stepping foot in this facility if the same type of customer service and workers continue to dissatisfy their customers

Yummy ice cream. Pretty costly but one time visit is must.

We got ice cream cake on birthday. It was amazing it cost $45 which was enough for 7 people.

One of the employee's named Erika (or ericka I couldn't remember the correct spelling) she was incredibly nice, welcoming and provided me and my girlfriend with amazing service. She let us take our time, did her best to help us with the flavours and was so nice during the entire interaction. Will definitely be coming back, and she definitely deserves a raise for her service! Thank you! (The confused couple who bought the no banana, banana split)

Went here today with my friend and had a excellent experience. The owner is very friendly & a really good guy. The ice cream was amazing, I will definitely be coming back again!

The owner (woman) is extremely rude, she accused me of taking videos when she was ‘frying’ the ice cream, i was on a video call instead. Quality is not good. The franchise in queensbough has way better icream and owner, will definitely not going back to this branch

Market crossing location is by far the worst I have ever been to. Owners are very rude. The ice cream quality is also very bad. First, they do not add much toppings and second, they do not mix it well. Please do not go to the market crossing location.

There was a man and a woman when I went in and they were very rude.in my regular size icecream they did not give me even one scoop of mixins.and when i asked for more, they acted as if i am asking an unrealistic amount.would definitely not recommend others going there to get humiliated by employees.

Extremely rude. If you don't tell them within 5-10 seconds what mix you want with your ice cream they will slap the ice cream into the cone. There were 2 of us. One being a child and children make messes. I asked for a napkin and the women only gave me one. When I asked for a 2nd napkin she just stared at me and reluctantly gave me a me a 2nd one.

Price is going up but customer service is going down, the persons working there are impatient and you get very little mix-in toppings, go somewhere else to be properly treated

Got the cookie and creams cake and the cake did not have a cookie base. It was just expensive oreo ice cream and the Oreo cookies were stale. Stick to dairy Queen for your ice cream cakes.

Poor customer service and extremely rude.

I called a couple of times to inquire about the ice cream cake flavors and the male i was speaking to was very impatient about my questions and constantly passing the phone to someone else in the middle of our conversation.

I asked them if it was possible to make me a cake with short notice, they denied and said that it was too short of a notice - which i understood. However, they said they were able to make me something else (assuming it won't take as long) and I agreed to it.

In a span of five minutes, I decided to cancel the order and the male associate yelled (in mandarin) at me over the phone saying that the cake was already done. He also demanded me to speak to him in mandarin. I asked him if that's how he should speak to his customers then he told me to never visit their store again. I have never been to this store before and I definitely will NOT visit.

P. S. I've called another marble slab to inquire about how long it would usually take to make an ice cream cake from scratch and I was told that it takes up to 5 hrs +, so how was it possible for you to finish the cake in 5 minutes?

Super accommodating and always fills up the container as full as possible. Nice and clean interior and staff are always friendly and welcoming. One of my favorite locations.

Love going here for a nice treat for myself. The couple who works here are so cute and extremely friendly. My ice cream and add ons mixed in together so nicely is such a perfect dessert treat. I highly recommend coming here.

Ice cream quality is top notch. Really thick and chewy. Rocky Road is one of my fav. Been going to this location for years. Expect to pay $6 plus for a scoop, similar to a cup of flavored coffees. Don't forget to ask for a stamp everytime you buy one. 10 stamps gets you a free ice cream.

$5.99 for a small cone, which is anything but small! It comes with unlimited MixIns. So freaking delicious!

The same good ol' taste like any other Marble Slab place in Canada, but the guy serving the ice crean there is not very sociable. Also, I think he attempts to close early than usually reported.

Ordered photo birthday cake on short notice. They are so polite and offered lot of varieties of cakes over phone order.
Order was picked on the same day, very fast and delicious.

So glad that I found this place. Came from a recommendation from my dog walker. My dog is healthy and happy for the improvements made to her diet. The price points are higher than your typical pet store but its still worth it!

The ice cream sandwich used the cheapest cardboard cookies you could find. The kind you would not eat even if you were hungry. Although I am leaving a bad review, the ice cream by itself might have been quite good but the cookies ruined it. I am still willing to try this place again but I'll certainly get something else.

We got the banana split but they realized last minute they had no banana in the store. Kudos to the gal who did the 9.9 dash to the save-ons next door to get the bananas, but by the time we received the final product, the ice cream was half melted. Otherwise everything else was great

I would give a zero stars to this location if I could, based on the older Asian man and lady working there (owners?). Go somewhere else or go when somebody else is working so you dont get ripped off. I am a regular at marble slab for about 5 years. My review is based on my last 15 unsatisfied visits at this location. The older gentleman (I believe he is the owner) that makes the cones is SO petty and practices poor hand hygiene- I’m an RN so his hand hygiene doesn’t go unnoticed. They are supposed to always weigh the ice cream but its often half the size its supposed to be. A franchise is based on consistency. Today I got very little ice cream, I ordered a regular. On top of that they are so petty and stingy with the mix ins. Today, I ordered 2 mix ins, in front of me he told the other lady (his wife?) not to add mix in in my ice cream to my face. She added barely anything (less than even a quarter of a scoop), so I asked if she could please add it and she said she already did and they looked at eachother. Weird! But this time my husband insisted I write in and take pictures. I spend about $10 per cone, I should not be given an unacceptable product over and over again at this location. Just getting really fed up with the lack of consistency with all other locations, lack of customer service, and petty attitude. Oh and he asks us to pay first so he can get away with his pettiness. He does not like to honour coupons or honour the free ice cream cone after your purchase of 10 cones and collection of 10 stamps. I wish there was another franchise closer to our house so we could go there instead. Dont waste your money here.

Wow! This place had really poor customer service. We went here to get some ice cream for my wife’s birthday. The server put a whopping four marshmallows in my 6 year old’s ice cream. I couldn’t believe it. We will not support this business and emailed head office about our experience at this location.

The two staff working here were great. I got the sample the cheesecake ice cream and peanut butter ice cream. I decided to go with the double chocolate with cookie dough.

We go there all the time and have always received the best service even when there is a line up. I think the managers name is Sam and he always is making sure everyone is looked after.

Amazing service all the time even though it’s extremely busy on those hot sunny days the gentleman that works there I think his name is Sam is so friendly and helpful and efficient despite everybody wanting everything all at once. We always have a good experience when we come here.

Fun idea. Nice that they offer a birthday special. Staff at this location when I went was very nice. However, I've had better ice cream.

We have going there for years. And for the most part have had the same gentleman serving us almost every time. He is always friendly and inviting and somehow able to manage 20 customers all at the same time while they are all demanding immediate service but I guess because the ice cream is so tasty people become patient because they have no other option. We really enjoy coming here.

We had an amazing experience at this location. The owner is a very friendly person and we really had the best service today! Great choice of flavours especially since you can customize to what you like!

It was okay. I found it pricey for what we got and the customer service was sparse. We both got one of thier fancy ice creams and neither of us was blown away by what we had. Overall it was okay, just nothing fancy.

Ice cream cake is really good here especially the turtle ice cream cake. Its a bit pricey here but i think its worth it.
