Nice walk, trail is wide and easy. Nicely lacking in mosquitos as well. Also the canyon is fairly cool due to the water running through and makes a comfortable walk even in 30 degree weather.
This is an extremely easy walk. Wheelchair accessible path. The canyon is a great choice on a hot day. Just be warned parking is limited, no trailers or anything bigger than a camper van. The road in is also narrow. Drive carefully!
The trail to the falls was reopened (October 4 2019) following flood repairs. The trail follows the same path and terminates with a cantilevered viewing platform extending in front of the falls for a close-up view.
Evidently this was named after a lady named Margaret, the first white woman who saw it.lame name but a really cool waterfall. Easy walk, I did it in slides. Good for families and pets too. Great views! I would definitely return.
Easy refreshing walk to and back to see the falls. Much cooler on the trail than outside. Many tall trees to look at and the trail follows the water. Reminds me slightly of the walk to the falls in Johnston Canyon, Alberta
