You're not gonna believe what I just saw the lady working here, she's got strands of purple in her hair bumped into an elderly woman almost knocking her over and no apologies no nothing. Most of us learned better as toddlers. Stay far far away.

The actor guy and the always happy asian gal has very good customer service skills. I have seen some shady men making weird comments to her and the other super friendly and helpful white gal. I hope they are both alright at work. I think I saw an Irish guy that works there look out for the girls who i mentioned above. It's very nice to see people looking out for each other at work. It always makes me happy to see that super happy girl. The actor guy, the irish guy and the girl with the highlights are always helpful. The tall guy who seems like someone from management sure runs a tight ship.i wish there were more chances to sample alcohol.

Marine Gateway helped our family with a large order for an event. They had everything ready for us and even loaded Into our car. Ask for Caden And Tim for knowledgeable and friendly service.

First of all, no hello, no greetings. And the main thing, who said I need to show my ID if I am with someone who is buying an alcohol? My friend already had his ID but I was asked for my ID just because I was holding a bottle! That guy wouldn't let us buy alcohol, we had to go home to get my ID. I haven't seen something like this anywhere!

They are pretty nice and friendly over here.

Not the cheapest place to buy a 6 pack but the location can't be beat. The folks that work there are great to deal with and you earn points per dollar spent for gift cards at the bar next door.

Little pricey, but they have a great selection of beer and if you shop the sales it's quite reasonable.

Friendly staff, fair selection of liquor. They also have a rewards program with coupons to the pub nextdoor as redeemables.

Very helpful staff. Handy for Skytrain users. Much of their inventory is in the coolers. There are various other stores and businesses very close, so it is a convenient place to get a bunch of shopping and errands done quickly.

Love this liquor store. Always has a great variety of new and unique beers, an amazing selection of wines and lots of other new goodies. The only thing I dislike is that they have an option to tip at the machine which I think is a bit crass.

They carry some more unique and different craft beer than BCL but have little selection in cider besides the big brands (strongbow, Sommersby and growers).

I just moved to BC, and thought all liquor stores are operated by BC. Surprisingly this is a privately owned store, and they carry a decent variety. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

And the card machine asked for a tip. In what world do you tip a regular shop? Servers at a restaurant yes, a retail shop no. Remove the tip % and save us time.

Great prices. Below other beer and wine stores. Also they have a rewards program where you get 1 point per dollar spent, points add up to a 25 dollar gift card to Dublins Crossing Irish restaurant next door.

Not as extensive a selection of spirits as other stores but there is a good choice of Canadian beers.

I almost never write reviews but I felt compelled to share my experience from the last time I was there. (and when I say last, I mean it will be the very last time I go) I used to go to this liquor store from time to time, but the last time I went to return the bottle the girl working there asked to see my ID, I didn't have it with me at the time, cause who would've thought I would need to show my ID for returning a bottle? ! So I went back later with my ID. And when I asked is this the usual practice to see ID for returning bottles, she replied by law she's required to see all ID for customers who come inside the store. Really? I was just there the week before to BUY a wine, and was actually helped by her (I remember because I asked her for recommendation) and she didn't mention anything about seeing my ID, and I was PURCHASING wine! What happened to following the law when it comes to customer purchasing from her? The whole experience made me feel discriminated because the whole time she was answering my question with a stony face and her attitude was condescending.
I know the store can argue that she was just doing her job, and I would have felt ok had she been consistent with her so called laws and rules that she had to follow. But of all the times I've been shopping there not one person asked to see my ID when I was purchasing. And the only times I got ID'ed was for returning a bottle? Last time I walked by I saw that she was still working there, I don't know if she's just an employee or a manager or what. Maybe they're trying to discourage bottle return at that location. Yes she gained in discouraging bottle return, but she also lost a customer.

A pretty adequate liquor store with prices that aren't too expensive for a private run liquor store.
It has a convenient closing time of 11pm and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

This is a well stocked Liquor Store. They have a fairly large display of single beer and coolers at the back to the left. They welcome everyone to join the membership program and gain points with each purchase and redeem them towards a purchase credit. The Staff is friendly and efficient. They don't let the line build very much before they open another till. If I'm passing through on the train, heading into Richmond and I'm on a train designated to travel out to the Airport marked YVR. I will disembark, moving fairly quickly. I will rush to the Marine Gateway and pick up a bottle of wine or some beer, make my purchase and hurry back up to the Passenger loading area and almost as soon as I am back I can see the train to Richmond coming just in time. The Marine Gateway is perfect in many ways

I've been looking for a certain type of beer for awhile & haven't. Decided to go in there on a whim & they had it! Made my day.
