Loved it and recommend it. Our server had exceptional customer service and knew her dishes well. Food and atmosphere were fantastic.

Just moved to the area and tried Mario's for the first time. Everything was amazing. The food was tasty and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We will be back soon.

Manager/Owner Darren or Darryl is extremely rude and disrespectful. I have celiac disease and ordered a Gluten Free pasta, which tasted great. I ate about 1/4 of my meal, got the rest packed up. They server mixed my leftovers up with someone elses (who was sitting across the large round table from me) and I realized the next day when I got home and went to eat the leftovers.
It's a human error and I wasn't angry, but I called to let the manager know because this is a big error health-wise if had eaten the wrong pasta, so figured I'd give a heads up. The owner barely heard me out, LAUGHED at me, and quickly told me it was my fault for not checking the box before I left the restaurant. When I asked if he'd do anything about it, he laughed some more and said he wouldn't do anything but since I'm "wanting something" he'll give me a $15 gift card and then hung up on me (probably because I called him out for being rude and laughing in regards to a serious matter).

I wouldn't say don't eat here because the foods great, but the servers and managers probably need some customer service training. I didn't think of it until this situation but as we left the restaurant, I said goodbye to the hosts/servers and nobody said bye back. I also gave a 22% tip, which I regret.

Fantastic fall off the bone ribs. We went on Sunday Rib night where a full rack (33$) for the price of half a rack (22$). Mudslide and artichoke dip were also very delicious. Would come back for sure.

Mario's is an awesome place to spend some quality time with family or friends. The ambiance is amazing, and the food was delicious. Service was quick and fantastic. Huge portions and decent pricing.we really had a good time.

The best lasagna I have ever had! Always has me coming back to Mario’s! Their bruschetta is amazing as well. Amazing atmosphere and happy hour prices are so reasonable! Definitely recommend!

This place had the best pizza and pasta that now we have come back to Scotland and use it as a comparison benchmark! The pizza and pasta was *chef’s kiss*, the service by Nadia was great but again the pizza and pasta was incredible. Nice vibes to the place for a date or in our case a family dinner.

Beautiful little place. Our first time in Vancouver area and thankfully our air bnb was very close by so we tried out Mario’s. Service was great. We then decided to go back for supper again the next evening. Ended up with the same server (Zara) who was AMAZING. The patio is so beautiful and they provide blankets if it’s chilly out which I think is so unique. Great food! Great atmosphere! Would recommend.

Fantastic service. Below average food.
Menu describes pretty good dishes like Flame grilled salmon, but you simply get pan fried instead.
Marinated news Orleans chicken is chicken with a layer of BBQ sauce on top.

My husband and I decided to pay the place a visit to check it out. We were met with a nice waitress who showed us around. We told her that we were checking the place out for a graduation dinner for a group of 8 people. After she showed us the areas we let her know that we are interested in the patio area. She said that should be alright and was then passed on to talk to this guy. He spoke to us in a very condescending manner as he told us that it's impossible to set up one long table for 8 people at the patio. From that point onward it got awkward as the guy wasn't exactly warm and welcoming. After we left, my husband and I felt very disappointed at the experience especially that we were very excited and enthusiastic when we first got at the place. It was such a waste of gas and time coming all the way from Richmond on a Sunday afternoon. Although I'm still glad we found out before it was too late. There are other restaurants who would be happy to take us and deserve our business.

Reserved a table for lunch on mothers day and requested for a table at the patio, which they confirmed. When we arrived they said that they couldn't guarantee a patio table.
Had to apologize to my guests since I recommended this restaurant because of the food and their patio

Called to pick up a house special pizza to take home. I was asked if I wanted to tip the kitchen staff. Said no. The pizza smelled like the box.
Not sure if was full of salt or msg. Definitely not special!
Won't be back.

Service was great food was pretty good all in all. Food came out fast and hot. Good spot to go to if you are in the area

I advise against having a burger here as the 8oz patties are too large and lacking in flavor. My patty was also overcooked unfortunately and the mushroom burger didn't really nail the mushroom flavour I would expect. I was also not a fan of their Bellini.

I believe the pasta and pizza menu items would have been a lot better and I probably should have known better.
