Mariposa Gardens Retirement and Care Community

I just moved here and it’s a beautiful place to live the employees do there best with covid. They are very polite they joke around with tenants when there serving as lunch or supper they interact with the tenants. The food is at least 90% great. Some times you don’t like some off the food to me it’s always cooked well management is very nice person she’s very friendly and tries to get stuff for tenants like books. Maintenance people are always nice and polite the cleaning lady Wendy goes above her Duties as Does most of staff and the manager they helped to get some furniture and other things for my apartment because I had no furniture just a bed TV my apartment was a little on the empty side but now it looks like someone lives there. This is for the assistant living part. Then there’s a place for tenants that need more assistance they have nurses that’s a different part of building and separate. I really enjoy living here made a lot of new friends. I would recommend living here no problem I will add picslater

Highly recommend - Management are supportive and professional and my co-workers were very welcoming when I first joined. If you are looking for a place for your loved one or a place to work please come and visit us.

Hello. I look forward to serving in a new capacity at Mariposa, Sienna in Osoyoos, BC, as a result of the challenges we have faced during Covid. My recent past has been advocating and attending the care of my mom through her moves in the past year from her home, to independent apartment, assisted living, and long term care. I will strive to bring comfort to my new friends - elders and their families here at Mariposa Gardens. In this beautiful environment there is absolute ability to achieve a five star experience. This place is a disgrace, to the residents and staff Managment is terrible, they can't keep staff call themselves a Union and lie on your ROE, after they lockout their employees for no reason at all shame on this company

It is appalling the way that our seniors are treated in their final years at this facility. The lack of real care for the clients whole well being by over half the staff is apparent. When clients are mentally and physically neglected this is unacceptable. These rooms are the seniors "homes", which, could use a bit of maintenance for safety and sanitation. Most seniors are left without any dignity. I just hope that the corporation that owns and runs this Care Community get to experience this same in their senior years.

If I could give this facility zero stars I would. The staff is rude and ignorant, and they treat the residents with no respect or dignity. The nursing staff does not care about the residents health and well-being as they leave them in soiled undergarments and when a resident has an apparent health condition the nursing staff does nothing to rectify the problem. The residents bedding is unchanged, the floors are not cleaned and their bathrooms are filthy. If a resident asked for help from staff, they are bullied and berated.
