Amazing and fast service! My 2 cats are wiggly and hissy and both of them got completely shaved in about 30mins!

Dear SAM,

First of all who replies to a business review 3 months after the fact? Do you not check your reviews? Let me give you some facts to clear these accusations. The day i came to get Milo's grooming, was a Monday at 8am. After getting to work i noticed MILO had his left side 1.5" longer than the other side. So as soon as i had a break i thought it fair to comeback this same day to have the cut looked at, and booked for a redo. Your posted hours on Google are 8AM to 4PM Monday to Friday! So at 11: 30AM i dropped by to show you the deficiency. But at 11: 30AM your door was locked! NO sign on the door stating when the place would reopen. You should figure out a way to have your posted hours honoured.

AS per your claim of me dropping by with NO appointments, that was based on your recommendation, you said " if you come by just before 8am there is a chance that we may have time (No guarantee) to do a NAIL TRIM as this only takes 5 min. " So a few times i would drop by in case there was a time for a nail trim.

There is ONLY ONE appointment which i missed. Your mother told me that she would forgive ONE missed but the second would incur a charge. My reply to your mother was " I WILL BE HAPPY TO PY YOUR FEE for having missed this appointment, that i am a business owner and understand how disruptive a missed appointment is. I came back later and paid your Mother via debit. I have the record of the bank transaction to prove it. I did not use the free missed appointment even though your mother offered it. I insisted on paying it!

I have had many great relationships with my past groomers. My last groomer relationship was from 2016 to 2021,5 years long, the work was great, we had no problems. Unfortunately they retired and closed in 2021, so i had to go find a new groomer.

As for your accusation of me berating your staff, i hope you can substantiate your claim, as i have never berated your staff.

As for your one star rating on my business listing, which you posted this morning. You are not a client of my business so your rating is fraudulent. What happened between us at your business has NOTHING to do with the services i provide to my clients.respectfully

Completely shaved our dog who had a double coat which they tried to justify and his fur never grew back properly. Do not recommend
Update: the response back is incorrect as the person who responded doesn’t even know what incident this is and has no idea what groomer did it and instead is choosing to be defensive. Obviously I knew my dog shouldn’t be shaved so why would I agree? I’m sorry you choose to insult everyone who gives you a bad review even when you don’t know the situation

Teddy is so happy at Markeyda’s Pet Grooming. His separation anxiety is at a bare minimum after only a few visits, he trusts and content.

I recently have been trying to get my cat groomed and got the opportunity to take him to this groomers. They were extremely busy and called when a cancelation happened. Firstly, they let me take him into a calm environment with not alot of noise which helped keep him calm. Secondly they were finished in under an hour and he looked amazing. Lastly the cat I brought home was actually more happy then the one I took there. His paws and nails were trimmed beautifully and he felt clean and lighter in the hair. Would love to thank the team for taking such great care of the animals you serve. ️

My Great Pyrenees, Finn went for his very first groom ever today and he loved it! He looks amazing and I can not believe how quick they got him done! My dog looks like 20 lbs of dead hair came off, he smells great and his coat is beautiful and shiny!
I am so impressed with the service at Markeyda's! We will definitely be back. What a fantastic experience!

It was our 3rd time here and I actually had to lure my dog to the door with treats to leave after her nails were clipped. It was a very different experience than the first time as she had trauma from another salon and would literally claw the pavement and freak out at the sight of the front door.

Best place ever been! So welcoming right from the walk in the door! Very passionate, patient and understanding with the animals. Understand animal boundaries and don't push them which could cause an issue. Staff are amazing! Highly recommend!

Sam and all the staff are so friendly and awesome to our dog Teddy and me! It was our first time to visit and I was anxious for our doggy since he has been biting and showed aggressive behaviour before with other groomers. I was referred by another groomer to Markeydas because of their good reputation and reviews in handling such kind of behaviour. After informing Sam thru their FB account about this concern of ours, we set up an appointment. Thinking he might need their Fearless Fido program to ease Teddy into better grooming experiences, Sam said they will
try first to groom him and see how it goes. To my surprise he was so sweet, had some grunts and grumbles but they didn’t have the biting/aggressive problem while grooming. I know they’re experienced and love what they do. It’s just an answered prayer for us and our doggy Teddy. We will come back again. Thanks a lot Sam and all the Markeydas’ wonderful staff!

If I could give 10/5 stars I would. Markeyda's grooming is friendly, professional and quick! And a very good price! I get my cat groomed here and they always have time for her, and are so quick. She is normally a skittish cat, but they handle her deftly and firmly with confidence & skill! My giant floofball, Aria, is always super pleased with her grooming after, especially since she can run around without sliding on the floors! And I'm happy with knowing she's groomed to not get smelly or mats under her appendages! ️️

My dog is a nervous type, so I love that he doesn’t have to stay here all day under a dryer. Was done in a hour and looked amazing. Not the cheapest, but well worth the money in my opinion. Friendly staff!

My small dog, Jasmine, is a very anxious rescue pup. Markeyda's grooming has been a life saver for us. Other groomers were hesitant to take Jasmine as she sometmes can lash out when scared. Markeyda's understood her from the very first visit and we will not take Jasmine anywhere else.

Will never go there again.the soap they used absolutely reaks.it horrendous.caused my son 3 asthma attacks and a trip to hospital.asked the owner to rewash them to get rid of smell.she said no shes not open till tuesday and willing to come in to do it.so i said id take them to petsmart and give her the bill.her response was not happening.so i will sue her not jusg fot cost of rewashing my dogs but also ambulance fee, , hotel cost for my son, charge for rewashing at petsmart and my sons pain and suffering for having 3 asthma atracks in 24 hours.her reply was i should have said i had sensitivities when i drpped them off.great customer service sam

I love the business model of this groomer. Your dog is in and out in an hour. Grooming time can be stressful for some dogs and the less time left at the groomers the better. They do a fabulous job on my Keesha and even for a Standard Poodle they are finished in the hour.

Was a great place now it seems they are more interested in turn over than doing a good job for a loyal customer.

Great job! My longhaired scruffy had a few big matts and she got them out and kept his long coat better than we hoped. Overall just a great job

I love this place the lady that owns it is great she knows a lot about animals and explains a lot to me when I go there if she notices something with my pets I recommend this place to everyone, it’s a little expensive but I would definitely pay more to come here for this reason it could sometimes save vet bills

Wonderful place to take your pet! We got in same day and service was done in an hour!
Our little Pip can be quite temperamental but the girls here are patient, kind, and loving to your pet.
Will definitely be bringing Pip back to these girls for any future grooming!

I don't normally give 5 stars but these ladies love animals and are very good with them. They are not cheap but they are worth it. I have a friend with a biting dog and no other groomer would take him. But they did.

Was a great experience for our dog Titan, fast, efficient and a well done all around job. The bow tie was the cutest touch. He left super happy and was sad to leave there!

Friendly, cut my cats nails within a couple minutes. And shes not always the easiest to deal with. Glad a friend recommended this place, will definatly be coming back. They were able to see my cat right away, and good price.

Quick and efficient which is perfect for my dog as he is not a fan of being groomed. He always comes back smelling great and looking dapper.
