Some staffs are knowledgable which is really good and some just know nothing about the products. More training is needed.

Where is the option for zero stars?
Went to marks today to return these shoes. To have the lady behind the counter tell me I can't return them as they have been worn outside!
I tried to explain nope, they were only worn in the store to try them on. She said look at the dirty bottom, and the wear and tear on the side, she meant the thread and glue that came with the shoes. I asked her if they were worn outside, why is the sticker on the bottom pure clean white? The little bit of dust obviously came from the carpet in the store. I even told her look at the carpet in here, there is salt and dust everywhere. I mean every tag is still on them, and I had the receipt. Is it a thing where people wear shoes outside and keep all the tags on them? I know I see baseball caps with stickers still on them, but this is crazy!
I guess what I am trying to say is. If you buy shoes from ironwood marks, make sure there are no loose threads, and absolutely zero dust specks on them if you need to return them.
Yeah we got them on sale, however that is still 100$ gone until this gets settled!

I guess I should mention these were bought as part of the Black Friday special, not even close to being purchased so long ago they are not eligible for return.

Great shopping place having reasonably priced good quality products. Store is strategically located for buyers who wants to take time shopping. Sales staff is limited. Has good customer service, too.

Went tonight to buy some jeans. Only found one pair in stock and then stood in a line with two other people for half and hour while one male staff was cashing and other female staff was behind the counter chatting away with two other staffs across the counter. And they continued chatting and laughing for 30mins until I called the manager about the situation. And guess the Manager was a joke! He said they have signed off and purchasing they order which was only for two pants and the on duty female staff was serving them for 30mins. And plus the Manager gave me a rude look and walk away with no care. Such an amateur Manager. Shows why the staff didn’t care about customer service. I wish the owner of the store sees some camera footage of what goes on in his/her store that explains all the negative comments about this store.

Everytime I have went to the Ironwood location to get slacks or work boots, I either get ignored, given attitude and or both. Pro tip: buy online.

Most recently, went to ask a staff member about more boor details than what was written on the shelf tag. They rolled their eyes at me and pointed to the shelf and walked off.
I wasn't demanding service either, just asking him politely if he had time.

Turns out those weren't the boots I needed. Then walking over to next aisle, see same staff member chatting it up with another older customer with boots and blatantly asked me "Hey, can I help you? "

They've stopped carrying a lot of women's clothes, especially plus sizes. There are no more Artisan t-shirts, relaxed fit. Everything has spandex, so you need to be a size 0-9 to find clothes that fit nicely. Disappointing.

First time in this store. Big Sale up to 60% off. Saw Label noting 40 % Off Sketchers.they tried to charge full priceand when I retrieved the posted tag there is tiny print at the bottom saying " selected types". Hmm they are sneaky and deceptive.

Staff was extremely rude and misinformed. The lady wanted to convince me that the hardhat could not be worn the other way around when I have seen thousands of people on construction sites wearing it the way I wanted. When I showed her that the same hard in a different color was oriented the way I wanted, she said it was a different model and pointed to the price which she said was $20 cheaper. When I looked at the price closely, it was exactly the same price. After telling her that it was exactly the same price, she said “if you don’t like it, you can leave”. Extremely rude staff that have no respect for the customer. Stay away!

I come here every one to two years to replace my work shoes. Same no help service as always and the cashier is never happy to assist you.

Selection is small and the store is quite cramped.

I only come here because its the closest location to where I live.

Safety gear such as visibility vests and steel toed shoes and boots are available here. The safety shoes are quite pricey but there is a wide selection of them and there is a 100 day return policy for shoes worn only indoors when trying them out for fit and comfort. Some of the staff seemed quite helpful. Convenient weekend hours as well, which was appreciated.

Found a couple of items in this location different from the Tsawwassen mills area store. 40% Off of casual clothing is a great deal for some items and a good deal for some. Work wear is not marked down now. Clearance of some winter stock. If deals matter more than current styles.

Found good deals on leather boots & rainboots/garden boots over the years when wanting simple designs when sold out at malls. Also got metal-toe boots for warehouse job years ago (before steel-toed sneakers).

Got nice fitting levis pants and merino socks my first visit and CSA boots here 2nd visit that fit just right and looked pretty. Happy it was crazy horse leather.

I was greeted even while wearing headphones so that was nice.

No washrooms but thats ok, tim hortons is close by for that.

I saw a customer being helped shopping for his boots today too, he had a pile of boxes, I didnt ask for service but could tell they were helped and taken care of.

Know nothing about steel toe shoes but once i came in to the store i was greeted by the helpful associate. Walk out with the shoes and a.

Don't bother coming here. Their stock is low in common sizes like small and medium. And their staff are misinformed. One of the staff told me that everything was 25% off storewide, and I asked her to price check one Levi's jacket and then she reaffirmed me that it was an additional 25% off.

When I went to the cash register to pay, the front staff refused to acknowledge that it was their mistake and they refused to give the additional discount. Their supervisor was rude and dismissed my claims.

Regardless, I returned the item and purchased it online for an additional $15 off for signing up with their newsletters. Ended up being a better deal anyways. Whatever.

I will be taking my business else where for work clothing from now on. I will also inform people of the horrible service and to no longer go to marks clothing. These people really know how to ruin a good thing. The front staff at the desk have a terrible attitude. I wanted to return a pair of boots that I had for not more than 48hrs and they refused to take them back because they were worn. I wore them to feel them out and they ended up being to small. I did not work in them nor did I go trudging through the mud. They were clean and in original condition and they refused to take them back to exchange for another size.

I went to try some winter boots on, and a young man (staff) by the name Liam.
Offered and assisted me with my questions, finding a seat to try different boots on. He was friendly and very helpful.

Also, I noticed that he continued to extend his great service with all customers! Well done Liam.

Staff may act like your not there.but that is not why I go there. I live to wear these clothes at work. Marks brings Sexy Back to construction workers

CoVid-19 bloated prices for most of their merchandise. Before I have given them four stars pre CoVid, but they are trying to make up for lost revenue caused by the pandemic. Shop their online store for the sales and specials.

It seems they don't have many staff here. It needs take a time to find the size I want because they put the things like a mess. It's all feel like self services here, except pay.
The only benefit maybe just the price is ok.

It was nearly impossible to shop for clothing on my last visit. I wanted one or two pairs of pants and a few shirts. Sizes were so mixed on the shelves so that it was difficult to find what I wanted. I was in the store for an hour and received no help from anyone.

I had a brand new pair of pants with all the tags on but no receipt. They were not willing they help on a simple exchange I needed one size larger. It was a very poor experience.

Generally I am like buying from Mark's
I find this store to be with good energy and variety of clothing.

Always have decent clothes for reasonable prices. Staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Found online coupon and staff reminded about Canadian tire points.

Went in twice this past month. Awful staff. Both times, I felt the staff staring at me needlessly. Made me uncomfortable. No one even greeted me, asked if I needed help, just stared. The second time I visited I went up to the registers since there were no other staff members to be found around the store. She just stared at me, no smile and I had to say hi first after a long silence. Wasn’t sure if I should approach. I asked if she could help me find a particular item as I hadn’t been successful finding it myself. Online showed this location had it in stock. She checked and their computers said they had four units in stock. She told me, “hold on”, and went to go look so I stayed at the till for 10 minutes.

It was taking way too long so I left the till and went to the scrubs section to look for the girl who was supposed to help me.she was already helping someone else. I had to go up to her and ask if she found it - she saw me and didn’t say a word. Her exact words: “I looked and they weren’t where they were supposed to be. ” Wasn’t that the point of me asking her for help? I asked if there were any in the back and she said no while already walking away with the other customer. Awful service, and things are always so disorganized. Regular priced items in the sale rack. Sale items in the regular racks. No wonder they can’t find anything.

Update: went back to the same location a few days after looking for the same pair of scrub pants. Same girl was the only associate I could find to help me so I asked if they had it in the back. Computer still showed 4 available. She went to the back and lo and behold, she brought out a pair for me. Could’ve saved me a bunch of gas if she’d done that the first time. She even had the audacity to say, “if you don’t see an item on the floor, you can always ask one of us to check in the back for you”. Ha, good one.
