This is our second time fishing with Mark, and it did not disappoint! The boat is comfy, clean and has a washroom- which is a bonus for the ladies.
Mark definitely works hard to find the fish you want to target. We did a day salmon fishing, and a day for Halibut and managed to catch some amazing fish including a 55lb Halibut! Thanks so much for the great experience!

I can't say enough good things about Mark. He is an amazing guide, very patient and friendly. Personalable and really takes the time to make sure that you have a great time on the water. I will definitely go on another charter with him. He knows his salmon and halibut fishing and will take the time to give you detailed instructions on how to fight big fish. Thanks again Mark for an amazing day on the water.

The best vancouver island fishing charter. Mark is a funny dude to be out in the waters with. Can't wait until I go to fish Salmon

I would give Mark 100 stars if I could.what a great guy and what a beautiful experience. We couldn‘t ask for a better man to get out on the ocean and catch some delicious fish! Thank you Sir!

Saw good reviews so my friend booked a trip but it turned out to be a nightmare! I can’t believe it! The “Captain” was extremely rude, lazy, threatening and not willing to take responsibility. How can a person like that be responsible for taking a boat of people out on the ocean? ! My friend was very polite and nice albeit all the hardship at the beginning, but her kindness wasn’t returned by a normal reception from the rude person. We were all shocked by how he behaved and one of our friends on site thought that he was drunk or just wasn’t in a good mood.but still! His behaviour was totally unacceptable even as a stranger, let alone being the captain who is supposed to be responsible for the people he takes out on the boat.
After that we were kinda traumatized tbh, but my friend didn’t believe that every captain was like him, so she found another captain. After the previous lesson, we were prepared to be treated shitly, but the other captain really surprised us by his kindness, patience and knowledge. He spread his happiness out to us! So boat fishing in BC is still fun, but you have to be with the right captain on the right boat. I hope terrible captains like MARK doesn’t get to damage BC’s tourism too much. People should be AWARE of this!
