This store and all their employees are amazing. My husband and I have just gotten into mountain biking and have checked out a few stores. By far, MMC has been the most welcoming, knowledgeable and awesome. Hailey has helped me out numerous times with purchases and also just tons of questions. Highly recommend this store and their whole staff ️️️️️

First time visiting here to get my dropper post repaired. They didn’t have the cartridge in stock, but hooked me up with a rigid aluminum post while I wait so I can keep riding in the meantime. That’s thoughtful and excellent service. Much appreciated.

Very poor bike shop. The city has so many more competent, reliable, and professional businesses. This owner is dismissive and cavalier and the smile you get is simply insincere.

I took my bike here to get a flat fixed. I was charged $30. A couple of weeks later the tire went flat again. I took it to my local bike shop where they fixed it for free due to it having been repaired recently. They told me the previous tire work was shoddy. Needless to say I will not stray from my local shop again.

A really nice girl named haley, fixed up my son's bike for free. She took about 10 minutes and then didn't charge me, that was amazing. I recommend this shop, good people there.

Why this is the best Mountain bike store in town. They are welcoming, friendly, extremely knowledgeable and the service staff are absolutely brilliant. With a son who races this shop treats him so well and will literally fix anything 5 minutes before closing as he had to be on the first ferry next day for a weekend race…. Bruce you are literally a super star and one of the finest wheel builders in the City….

One star because I had to in order to post this. I walked in and a man was at the cash on the phone and about 6 men in a small room at the back fixing bikes. I walk around looking at bike seats and then around again.man off phone goes back on phone. I walk to the cash and when he gets off phone he says “can I help you” as if I was bugging him. I asked if I had an appointed for help, he said yes, I said “ for anything? (While waving my hands around the merchandise for sale) he said no, what do you need? I said I need a bike seat and help with my chain as it came off and I’m not sure if I put it on right? He said he would go find someone to help with me the chain and he would help me with the seat, I said I can make an appt to shop and for the chain If it’s to busy? He said no, it’s ok, I’ll grab a mechanic who can spare a few moments. He also said the phone has been none stop. So I wait.others come into the store and mechanics stop working to help those men. The man with the phone helped me with a seat and then left, I went to the cash with the seat and waited.no one came to help me again.half an hour has gone by.the men who came in after me all had helpers talking about bikes and I was the only girl in the store. Wondering around. They would look at me but not say anything. Worst experience ever. I took a pic of the seat as I will be buying it from another store.

Very kind and helpful people. It's unusual to feel this positively after a couple tune ups and a repair. That's how great their customer service is. They're a fantastic part of our community.

I called in to have my bike looked at and the person on the phone said I could bring it in today and they would look at it. Although if repairs were needed they would have to book me in for another day.

After loading my bike into the truck, driving all the way there, and being stuck in traffic on a hot day, the person tells me that he will book me in 10 days from today without even looking at my bike like they told me. I told him what I was told on the phone and he told me to look at all the bikes he had to fix today. I asked why he didn’t tell me that on the phone and he had no answer.

That was unprofessionalism at its finest. That and the trash bin full of empty beer cans, and I’m off to find another shop.

I am not much of a biker and didn’t know what I wanted, the staff was very friendly and took the time to consider my requirements and expected usage; and set me up with a bike that was perfect for me while also explaining all the maintenance and quality of parts. He didn’t try to over-sell out of my price range for a quick buck but instead got me into a bike that was actually cheaper than I was willing to pay. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

I've purchased 3 bikes from Marty. He has an excellent team and the customer service is outstanding. A great gent to go to with questions. Best bike shop in town in my opinion. Excellent to the navy guys and girls.

This is my favourite shop in the Victoria area. My son and I make the trip to Marty's even though it's a bit further from our local stomping grounds. The staff and Marty have been awesome to my son, supporting his love of riding. They are always helpful, have great inventory, brands and an incredible team of mechanics who have kept our bikes rolling and on the trails. I highly recommend Marty's.

Picked up a Rocky Mountain Thunderbolt Alloy 10 a few months ago. The service was excellent and the staff is very friendly. Knowledgable and helpful.

Marty and his team are awesome. I've been there a bunch of times and always have A quality service at an affordable price. The technical service is fantastic as well. In fact I was there today with a broken spoke, fixed same day and a great job done.

I needed some work done and they did it within the hour. Very friendly and informative and buddy on the floor walked me through a bunch of questions i had.

Huge thanks to Marty and the team for all your support of the North Saanich Freeride park. You guys are always incredible at helping us out with draw prizes for our events and competitions and your staff are a blast to ride with.

Marty's is great! Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff and mechanics. Best in the the city.

The friendly staff is just a con. I paid them to fix my rear derailleur and tension my rear spokes. The spokes were tensioned but my derailleur still shifts like garbage.

Fantastic bike shop! Bought a Devinci Spartan the crew went above and beyond to make sure I could ride asap. They worked over an hour past closing to get it put together for me. I highly recommend going to Marty's for all your biking needs.

I work across the street at Action and have always been impressed by how polite and professional Marty and his staff are. Today, a serious fire started across the street in a neighbours yard. Marty and his crew came ripping down the street on bikes to lend a hand and help us keep the fire under control until the Fire Deparment showed up. If that’s not customer service and dedication I don’t know what is!
