Maruhachi GAIDEN

We ordered both of the tsukemen (chicken & spicy). The chicken broth had a lot more flavour than the spicy tsukemen broth.

Both pork and chicken chashu was delicious!

We also ordered chicken karage and it was nothing special.

The interior was quite dim and felt a little cold. Luckily, they had a counter seating area that was much more sunlit.

Far away from Japanese simplicity. Not enough meat with the soup. Has tons of room for improvement overpriced.

Visited @maruhachi_canada. We were actually surprised by the limited number of options we had for ramen. We ended up with their kiwami ramen and maruhachi curry. Also their fried garlic was no longer complimentary. The ramen was on the saltier end for me. The restaurant itself was small so be ready to wait if you have a party more than 2. Overall, I feel like there are better ramen options in town.

More expensive than regular Maruhachi, but not necessarily better. This restaurant doesn't serve the signature Tamago Ramen, which is the best offering they have.

Small restraunt, some what hidden. The menu was very basic with a small variety of dishes. I ordered the Chashu Shoyu spicy ramen. I made the mistake of making my ramen spicy, which takes away the flavor of the broth. The chashu was tender while the noodles were perfectly chewy. The atmosphere is quiet, has zero clutter, and has limited seating but a very clean restaurant.

Wanted to love this place more based on what I’ve heard/reviews, but had an average experience with above average prices.

There is one soup option for vegetarians/vegans that is a curry base

I walked in the restaurant which is totally empty. They won’t seat you unless the entire party is here. I understand this is policy due to limited space, but with an empty restaurant……!

Daughter ended up liking the shoyu ramen for the first time.she kept saying yummy. I guess it's a good sign. We'll be back for sure.

Arrived as soon as they opened 11: 30 on Sunday morning, other people waiting already. It’s a nice cozy spot. Service was very quick and friendly. I had the Kiwami Cha-Shu Shoyu Ramen. Lots of pork and chicken, the broth was delicious. Left very full and satisfied, I will definitely return to try more:)

I REALLY enjoy their creamy chicken broth! A bit of a bummer that they now charge for their famous garlic chips, but I can understand this adding up on the restaurants end, especially due to inflation. I only wish they had their thick noodle option at all their locations so I wouldn't have to travel all the way to Main street for thick noodle chicken ramen!

The kiwami ramen is so good.a variety of high quality and unique toppings this is an easy S tier

Ordered takeout through their website and picked up at my scheduled time. Love the creamy chicken broth and thin noodle. Portions were adequate and prices were on par with other ramen restaurants.

They were about to close but they still accommodate us. The waitress is pretty nice as well, always check on our tea and our food making sure everything is ok. Thanks for the great ramen.
