Mary Brown's Chicken

Ordered 5 piece chicken tenders received a tiny portion compared to what is usually served. I also ordered a spicy Mary burger and it came with the wrong sauce. Ridiculous portions for almost $15

Chicken was fresh and delicious.
It had mild flavour and not salty.
Portion sizes are smaller then the poppy’s and they charge extra $1.25 each for ordering thighs which wasn’t mentioned by the order taker.

My first time ordered by phone I’m in LMH across the road ordered chicken sandwich tots and ginger ale my wife picked it up when we opened it had root beer not ginger ale

I usually don't bother fast food reviews, but those two guys working on Saturday night October 28th were great, polite, and made me the best chicken sandwich I've had in years. Great wedges too. Happy with the value.
Oh and their front end was super clean. Startlingly clean.
Looking forward to the newton location opening!

First time here. I never leave reviews but I was working there while waiting for my car to be serviced and they asked me to. And their service and food were so good I said, I was more than happy too!

Went for the batter box just a plain box not anything like what they advertise at all will not go back

I am not usually a big fan of 'fast food' fried chicken, but this place is doing it right! I don't live in Langley, but when I'm there I look forward to being able to grab a lunch here.

The Big Mary is the best 'fast food' chicken sandwich I've ever had. A well seasoned, crispy breading over moist, flavourful chicken breast, and for some reason the pickle on top always feels so fitting. I tried it once with tomato and cheese at the suggestion of the staff and while not for me I can see why some might like it that way. Even better if you're in on a Monday for the Big Mary Mondays special - that's a value proposition that's hard to beat these days.

Their regular fried chicken is also very nice. Leagues beyond KFC in my book. First tried that today, and it was excellent! I also quite enjoy their 'taters. ' The seasoning on those things tickles something just right and I've always been served a fresh, piping hot batch.

Their mobile app is one of the better ones I've used, offering up their whole menu including specials and plenty of customization options. I find this very convenient as I can place an order and arrive inside their preparation time (about 10 minutes) without having to wait around.

The real pièce de résistance here is the staff. Every visit they have always been so friendly and pleasant. When I get there early they're always forthcoming with an estimate on how many more minutes until my food would be ready without ever needing to ask. It's a very nice change from the general neutrality, or worse, like I'm an inconvenience, I see in many other establishments in the same market. So, kudos to the staff and management at Mary Brown's Chicken Murrayville, you're definitely doing it right!

Absolutely terrible customer service!
I ordered a Big Mary combo through Skip the Dishes and wrote “No mayo, please (allergic to mayo!) ”.
I received the order and the sandwich had mayo on both the top and bottom of the of the chicken and on the tomatoe (that I paid extra for). I immediately phoned the store to inform them of the mistake and they argued with me, saying that they had indeed originally made it with mayo, but then saw my note and replaced everything fresh. They DID NOT, they simply put the contaminated contents in a new bun.
They told me that was impossible because they made it themselves and were certain there was no mayo on the sandwich they sent. They told me I needed to bring the sandwich back to the store in order for them to replace it. I explained that I just paid for delivery and was unable to bring their error back to them. I further explained that I took photos of the sandwich and offered to send them as proof of the error if they’d provide an email address or a phone number I could text. They refused and said they’d call their boss and then call me back with a solution… I’m still waiting two and a half hours later. So much for dinner.
Apparently the customer is always wrong at this location. I will never order from is store again. See attached photos.

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. The mouthwatering signature chicken meal is always fantastic as they are cooked fresh.
"Big Mary Sandwiches" are the best at this location.
I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend everyone to visit with friends and family.

I've been going to this location for the best fried chicken in Langley. However, this last time I went there. I ordered the 9 piece feast, spicy. When I got it home 20 minutes later, I found that it was normal chicken, not spicy, and there was only 8 pieces, not 9.

Food is over prised sneaky marketing on there menu like "tasty taters poutine" not tater tots at all was very large patoto wedges smothers with tons of cheap gravey and five cheese curds not happy at all.

Chicken was very oily dripping actually, received wings and backs no meat to speak of, fries were cold very disappointed!

Bought the party pack for a group of seniors at a long term care facility. They all loved it. Called ahead and ordered without any issues. Priya was amazing. Would definitely come back again and again!

Great food. Chicken was moist and tender and not dry at all. Very quick and also great customer service.

Stopped in today for the first time ever as they now have a plant based option. I tried each of the plant based sidekicks, one spicy one regular and their crispy taters. The food was delicious and was served hot out of the fryer. I would definitely return as the value was a lot better then KFC with just as good of taste. The young man at the service counter was also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely visit this location again. Great to see more and more plant based options emerging!

The worse I've had. Had a 3piece meal that consisted of a small wing, a back and a thigh, none of which was very good, not enough to feed a hungery 5 year old. First tried mary browns in merritt, it was excellent. Decided to try it in langley, Big mistake wont be going there again would give it a half star if you could don't bother going there

I will not be returning to this location, the fried chicken was tough and tasted old. The tenders looked like they were cut from random pieces of chicken and the coating was barely existent. Id rate it lower but I've had great chicken from other locations.

I emailed them before posting a review (off nights happen) and was offered a 15% discount on my next visit instead of any refund. I wouldn't have accepted it but the offer would have been nice, I won't be returning here, the overall experience was disappointing.

The chicken is good but the taters are amazing! The staff here are very friendly. I was in the other day and a woman was being very rude to the employee. The employee was so nice and respectful and trying to be helpful. I would have been much more upset if someone spoke to me like that! But the employee handled it so well!

My coworker recommended this place to me so I took the kids for dinner last night. We ordered their buffalo Mary, taters, chicken tenders, poutine, coleslaw and apple pies. I must say that I was very impressed with the serving size and the quality of the meal. Apart from it tasting amazing, I was glad that it’s wasn’t greasy. Plus I paid the same amount as I would’ve paid at McDonald’s or KFC. Me and the kids ate the meal at Mary Browns and I gotta say I was relived knowing how clean they keep their vicinity, specially with the pandemic upon us. They made sure that where we sat was sanitized before and after we were done. I would definitely recommend it!

I went again today at marybrowns with my friends from calgary on Thanksgiving.they really made our day.unexceptional service and best food.we went for dine in nd found that they were sanitizing door handles and tables. It was really relaxing to see the place followed by all covid protocol and also great food. Thanks and will see you guys soon.

Super tasty! I got the big Mary sandwich with wedges and gravy (get the gravy-its amazing, you won't regret it). I love that it's not greasy, and made with quality chicken. Great customer service too, they were friendly and fast!

Good location, great staff, awesome fried chickens, all food is Halal, clean resto overall and fair prices! The owner was kind and super friendly, offered me free chicken to try, and it was the best fresh chicken i ever had, went to delta location and it was old and dry.just a little work needed for delivery and take outs!

Such small portions and the flavour is absent in everything. We ordered the chicken tenders and onion rings, I could have found better than this any McDonald's or Wendy's. In fact Wendy's is more flavorful and you get more for your money. We will not be returning.

Hello to those looking for reviews at this HORRIBLE place. I was recently hired at the Mary Browns in Langley BC, I was super excited about the job, and I was glad to be working there for the 1 WEEK I was able to, I started working at the beginning of October, at the end of the first week I fell sick, I couldn't work for 5 days because I was Getting tested for Covid-19 and I take social responsibility seriously, I thought you guys did too. I was very worried and of course, I did not want to get any one else sick, I took time off, and once I was confirmed negative on the test, and I felt better I emailed my boss to see when I could work next. She informed me the there was a influenza outbreak, and they had hired new people and cut down all my hours. I said that was okay I was just wondering when my next shift was. She didn't reply. I haven't heard from her in days. I was counting on this job. I take great responsibility in trying to do the right thing, and be respectful, This is another thing that I thought Mary Browns took seriously. However what I got in return; NOTHING, no shifts, no straight answers. I am very upset. At this point I am not even sure if I still work there or not. It was a very rude way to do things, and to completely cut me off because of a Flu Outbreak at the store location IN MURRAYVILLE, BC, was very disrespectful.
