Matadora Tapas

Everything was so good. Small portions so you can try a bit of everything haha. We came in on a Sunday which was all day Happy hour for drinks and food.

Matadora was a wonderful experience with delicious food and friendly staff. We ordered the tasting menu and everything was beautifully presented! Such a cool experience and I will definitely be back!

Small and sweet place. Loved the flavours. Great ingredients.every dish we tried was a delight. Thoroughly enjoyed. Staff very nice too.

This was one of my favourite dinners so far in Kelowna. Intimate space, personal service and all of the food was amazing. We loved the croquettes, the gambas, the pana con tomate and the chocolate pate! Well seasoned, surprising flavours, great cocktails, who could ask for more? !

Delicioso! Visiting Kelowna for two nights, we wanted each to be a special meal. We love Tapis, so that was easy. Then the strong reviews convinced us. This place is absolutely worth five stars. Cozy ambiance inside, very friendly and attentive service, excellent sangria and best of all, very yummy food. We opted for the taster menu and weren't disappointed. Plenty of food for everyone that won't disapoint. If you're looking for something different and fun night out, you have to give this a try.

We were transported to South of Spain. Wonderful flavours. Wonderful service. We will be back again and again.

This is a hidden gem in the centre of Pandosy, we had our anniversary date at this unique place. The tapas are very delicious and the service is great!

This place is intimate and friendly whether it be for work, play, or romance, you have to check this place out!

Vanessa was an incredible server who made the best suggestions (highly recommend the Dinner for 2). She deserves high accolades and great tips for her personal service. I even saw her provide a fun bug zapper to the customers seated outside! You can tell it is important for them to keep their customers comfortable and happy. The prices are reasonable, and happy hour goes until 5: 30 (PLUS). The food was delicious, filling, and we even had leftovers to go.

I have been searching for great tapas and this fit the bill.

Definitely will be back! Support local business!

We found Matadora a couple of months ago.
This is a little piece of Spain in the centre of Kelowna.
You’re made to feel so welcome from the moment you arrive to leaving.

The service was excellent (and it was a one person show on the floor for waiting, hosting, and drinks) the food was even better. Everything we had was delicious and I would recommend bringing a group of 4+ to taste as much as possible.

Now here's a hidden place I came across. Food is delicious. Authentic Tapas. Staff are great. I did find the restaurant on the smaller side of restaurants, but that won't matter once you taste their food. Check out their menu. Lots of choices. The cheesecake is awesome. They make great cheesecakes. Cozy environment and a nice place to hang out for a nice lunch or dinner. I don't see this restaurant on the food delivery apps, but you can call for takeout and pick up. Try the cheesecake.

I had the 9 plate tapas and thought it was very overpriced for $99. The amount of food was fine as we didn't leave hungry, and things tasted good. Baguette with crushed tomatoes (4 small pieces) as one plate.potatoes was another, so I found many were very cheap items that did not justify that price. 3 items had protein, but very little.

Great little place. Love the atmosphere, the wine list and the Basque cheesecake is on another level of greatness. Everything is made in house. You must try it.

My new favourite place. The menu is authentic and nothing like anything else in Kelowna. Fantastic spot to nibble with a glass of bubbly. Atmosphere is quaint and comfortable. Love the mom and daughter business! It is a hidden diamond.

The mother daughter duo showcase with exceptional care their experiences and travels abroad through Spain.
The service is attentive and intimate, the food is excellent. And wine and spirits selection true to form.

Do not expect huge food portions they are true tapas. Perfect for dates or a night our with friends. Looking forward to their continued success.
Save room for the cheesecake!

I'm from Spain and I must say that La Matadora is the best Spanish tapas restaurant I've tried in BC with a huge difference! Its dishes are so close to my home country that each bite transfers to a Spanish bar (thank you so much!).

I highly recommend the chorizo a la sidra, pimientos del piquillo, and the Basque cheesecake.so unbelievable good! Besides, they have a complete list of authentic Spanish alcoholic drinks such as Calimoxto, Tinto de Verano, and Carajillo.

I should mention that the service and the environment music are incredible too!

Best and only authentic taparia in town! If you've never been to the Mediterranean come here it will take you there in veritable style and taste from Spain. Amazing all around!

Had delivery order today. Tried the pintxo? Platter. Liked only the avocado one. Did not like the ground up sardines or the anchovies or the other fishy spreads. Would have liked to see more prawns or scallops or muscles. Won't be ordering from here again.

Such a hidden gem of a place! La Bodega and the Desayuno are my favorites so far, but have loved everything we have tried. Check this place out, you wont be disappointed! Vanessa and her mom have done such an amazing job, it is both a blessing and a curse to have such an amazing place right next to work ;) Thanks ladies!

Legit tapas. We went to town on the menu and everything was top notch. Iberico, prawns, mussels, and meatballs were the standouts. The Basque cheesecake was worth the trip alone.

Excellent small bites made with care! Not knowing what to get I followed the recommendations from the lovely ladies working at this cafe. I went back the next day to get my morning coffee and a pastry. I highly recommend this new spot!
