Match Eatery & Public House

Today we ate at Match eatery (, Cascade casino Delta), first time. We had the pulled French dip and it was absolutely delicious. Portion size was very big, plenty of moist suckulent beef! Au jus was very tasty and french fries excellent. Also ordered at table the fish & chips, looked delicious friend who ate it said it was great, 2 large pieces fish cooked perfectly and a curry slaw which was different but tasty. Lotsa fries. Sorry almost forgot Server was great, friendly and did a great job.

I have a pepper allergy. I told them. But garlic bread i received been cut that look like been used before by cutting something like bell peppers. Luckily my family spotted early but I still had a blister on my mouth. Food manager apologized and said he would check into. But this is poor food quality check. You should never use knives cutting between foods. I know it is not always possible to be allergy free but this was carelessness.

We were here in Sat Oct 14 celebrating my friend’s bday.

The first half of the night was great, our server was on top of things, great service and always filling up our glasses with water and making sure we were well looked after.

Food was good other than the wings came out cold.

Our server handed us over to a different server because she was off for the night. Well and after she left was like our table got forgotten. We waited about 45 min to order drinks, this was after I had asked 3 times for someone to come to our table.

So I finally had to get up and look for the manager. Restaurant wasn’t realty that busy so I don’t understand why the service went down hill after 11pm

After this experience not sure If I will go back.

First time here - excellent food and just the sweetest staff ever, all of them. A great place to come if, like me, you're out alone and don't want to be stuffed in a corner and ignored!

Once again Patio Closed. 3rd Time now. Not sitting inside and giving my service. Last time we sat on Patio they didn't even have a wine glass. Get your $#*! Together.

The Cajun chicken tacos were delicious, crisp on the outside juicy on the inside. The server was probably the best part of going there, friendly, cheerful, just a ball of happiness

Was very disappointed when I called to make reservations for our group of 10 was told Match does not take reservations over 6 people. What a way to lose business at the restaurant and for those who go to the casino before or after lunch. Our group has been going to Match for a few years now. I guess its not on our list anymore. Too bad.

Service was horrible and so was the food. I had the beef dip and I’m pretty sure it was dog food, The steak sandwich was tough and flavourless. They offer drinks on the menu but then you are told sorry we don’t have slushy drinks…here’s a tip stop being cheap and update your menus.all of match eatery and casinos were hacked and they chose to not pay the ransom so everything is written down. No discounts or happy hour. Will not be wasting another time at this place.

I like sitting outside.the service was decent once we sat, machines were down, so maybe why a little slow, food was horrible, highballs are highballs lol

Have eaten here quite a few times.

The staff are also very efficient and always have a smile.

I highly recommend this place.

I had the Thai lettuce wraps. They were so good! I've had those wraps before, and I will definitely go back for more.

Leaving your patrons to stand at the entrance while you flirt with your co worker and completely ignore customers. Nice.

The service was excellent and food was good but the way the venue was set up for a senior's birthday party was not really ideal.
Also having to go outside and into a different building for washroom facilities was inconvenient for all and nearly impossible for several 80+ year old guests.

Went to March for late night happy hour and to watch the 3rd of the Canucks game. We ordered off the happy hour menu as it says 9pm till close, so $6 beers and half off wine, we figured it was a good deal so we all ordered a few round of drinks. When the bill came, all the drinks were full price and was told by the server that late happy hour is only for food, even though the menu and website clearly doesn’t state that….

The service was very slow, I was waiting at the check in side for over 20 minutes while people that worked there passed by and just looked at us there was no one at the front, after we got seated, it took another 10 minutes till someone came to take our order for drinks, I asked for water and I was given warm tap water with no ice.my food took awhile to get to my table, the fries were very small and hard, I did not finish them. After I got my bill the waitress messed up and added things onto my receipt that I did not order. Other than that.the hamburgers were decent. I won’t be eating at this one again, the staff come off very rude.

Food was good, decent prices, but the server was awesome! She was so friendly and we even had a nice chat before I left!

They were promoting UFC night on Facebook but once we got there the server said that they wouldn’t broadcast the fight because the owner doesn’t paid for this. So we had to cancel our food and go somewhere else. The mojitos were good.

Really tasty again! The daily specials are wonderful and with an encore loyalty card you get a discount too!

Great place to get together & good selection on the menu. Staff were spot on from the entry to our waitress very warm greetings. Good daily specials that aren't pricey, good portions size.
Nice to enjoy a few spins inside the attached casino.

Lots of available seating, a good menu selection and good service. The bathrooms even have tvs, so if you are there to watch sports, you don't have to miss any of the action. They have lots of good drink and food options. Their outdoor area is enclosed and is nice and cozy with a fireplace.

Some of bathrooms never lock or have paper towels. This is on going and have not been fixed. These are small issues that should be taken care of. Many times I have heard people walking in on others because the door doesn't lock, really no paper towel to dry your hands?

Went in on a Sunday, asked for a table and was told it would be a 25 minute wait. The restaurant was more than half empty. Another couple went in right after us and were told the same thing! Lost 4 customers in under a minute and we all stood outside and discussed how disappointed we were.

Came with my girlfriends the other night. Lovely atmosphere, great food a great service! Jody was absolutely amazing!

Be prepared to wait, they had empty booths but since they had a party of 25 on the patio. They said the kitchen had a 40 minute wait, so they didn't want to seat us.

After talking to the manager we were finally able to get a table after a 30 minute wait while the place was half empty.

Once seated our service was great, drinks came quickly. I would give 5 stars to our server, she treated us really well. That is the only reason why I gave 3 stars.

Ordered delivery the salmon burger was very good, but so greasy I could only finish half. What a shame.

Great food! I had the quesadilla which was recommended by our amazing server Jody/Jodie. I would recommend going to this place just by the service. Jody helped me pick my drinks and food options and I ended up really enjoying this place. 5 stars for Jody, amazing service once again!

The wait time for our entrée orders was absolutely appalling over 1.5 hrs! I ordered the Cajun Seafood Spaghettini and although the seafood was fine the dish was swimming with oil and garlic! I am still dealing with the overwhelming taste. Our server Jodie was very good so made things a little better by giving us one complimentary entrée. I do realize restaurants are dealing with staffing shortages This isn't ideal

Staying in hotel and sat down to order food. When server realized I wasn’t drinking she forgot I was there. I switched my food to takeout and then waited over half hour for it…. When I went to ask it magically came out… came to my room and med rare steak was well done and luke warm and no sauce for dry ribs. Will not be back and don’t recommend.

Our experience at Match Eatery in langley was amazing, we had such a fun night with our friends! Very attentive staff, even the bartender Curtis checked in on our wine and mixed drinks to make sure we were happy with them. Great staff and atmosphere

The food was just okay service was just okay I think there's many other places to spend my money at.

The service is great 9 times out of 10. Food has always been spot on, and happy hour prices are affordable.

I wanted to treat my 91 year old mother to a lovely lunch yesterday but after waiting over an hour we had to leave to get her something to eat. The young man who served us was lovely though.

Match has nice patio seating with many TVs for sports. They only offer craft beer for Happy Hour which is disappointing. Menu hasn't changed much for the last few years and could be updated. Good for an afternoon snack and drink.

Went for dinner after playing slots at the casino and it was disappointing. I ordered a veggie burger with fries and a side Caesar salad, the burger was ok, nothing special. The fries they give you is a pretty small portion and the Caesar I got was absolutely horrible. The croutons were stale in a crumbly not hard way. You bit into it and it just was this soft crumbly weirdness. They put roasted garlic in there which is a weird texture in your salad and then there is kale which what ever as long as I can taste Caesar dressing which you couldn’t cause the salad was covered in balsamic vinegar. Waitress never came to ask how it was.

Sooo it’s about the wait. 1 hour wait for two items is poor in my books food is 5/5 servers are friendly but with this kind of a wait they should be. Patio was so loud we asked to be moved inside. Sorry Match but won’t be back

Its a nice place for drinks, the service is good but im not a fan of the food. I had the blackened cajun chicken and the whole plate was very very oily, even the veggies.

Lunch was great, but dinner service was poor. Waitress did not know what drinks & menu items were available.

Karl was an excellent attentive waitress and the food was great quality/presentation. I will be back next time I am travelling!

Food is tasty.but the service is quite slow. Went in for brunch and it took 45 minutes for breakfast tacos. Our waitress, I think her name was Jamie, was nice, and apologized about the wait, but it was way too long to wait for breakfast. Stopped in another time for wings, it took 20 minutes for the waitress to even get to take our order. And 30 min for the wings to get our table.

Came at 6: 15pm.couldn't be seated until 7: 15pm. Places food order and when we asked at 8: 15pm were told "theres a large private party on the patio which is delaying the kitchen but your food should be out soon ". Food arrived 8: 30pm

We went Matches on Saturday, Nov. 23rd where we requested a booth in the covered area, there were 2 booths empty. We were told to have a seat, we asked about the 2 booths, 1 was reserved and the other was on a waitlist. After 30 minutes, we were finally asked if we wanted drinks while we waited for a booth. 15 minutes after that, we were seated. We ordered our dinner, I had the special, it was good but my husband's fish and chips was bad. The chips came out cold and the oil the fish was cooked in was old. We had ordered a bottle of wine with our dinner, didn't finish it so we asked to have it packed up to go home, the waitress informed us if we would be charged a corkage fee of $18 after I spent $44 on a bottle. Our waitress then came over and told us her shift was over, would we mind settling with her? We did not mind but the new waitress that took over, we never saw her and we sat there for another 40 minutes. Vastly understaffed for a Saturday night and not a place I would recommend.

Very rude staff foods great but it was my birthday and they tried to throw me under the table for something I didn’t do we spent over $300 there that night and got mad because my friend got her food taken away and they didnt ask and accused me of saying they could take it when it’s my birthday and pretty much started arguing with my friends and the manager was so rude I couldn’t believe it, she ordered a 13.00 meal and they complained about giving her another plate when we spend 300$ that night unbelievable, the women who where serving us should get let go the first girl we had was a amazing but then this little stuck up blonde girl started to serve us and it just went down hill we didn’t even have utensils for everyone so unprofessional!

I've been there several times and the quality has definitely gone down. Tonight was my birthday and we had a reservation for 20, the nachos were sad at best. Reminded me.of 7-11 nachos with their cheese sauce. Couldn't even have real cheese for $17. A couple friends waited way too long for their meals. Not impressed wont be doing it again there

Loved the look of this place. The servers were very nice. Food was good and reasonably priced. The DJ was horrible though. Ruined the night for us. Looked like he hated being there.
