Amazing food love coming here with family recommend everything except the gravy is a bit too salty other than that everything has tasted amazing service is great and people are very nice also enjoy the bingo nights

Place is okay for a Friday night - considering there is nothing around so you don’t have much of a choice. We arrived late, after a long trip and that was the only place to eat sth. Food was very very good, beers too. Billiard for free and very cool DJ. Staff was very chaotic and they messed up so many orders, we had to wait so long for a beer and ribs, but they were very nice as they didn’t let us pay for it. Okay for stepping by if you are stepping in Campbell River.

Match is always amazing, above and beyond to cater to the patrons.go win sum'n! Pizza is dammmnmn good!
Bartenders in the casino are very attentive.

Honestly I'm not a big bar girl, I don't drink, but I gotta say, they have some good food and is one of my go to places

Went for happy hour, 3 to 6pm, and ordered all of the happy hour items on the menu to share with my partner and a pint of beer each. The place was nice, with people but not crowded or rowdy. The server was nice and lovely. The food looked great but the tacos and the pretzel weren't my favorites. The sliders were great though but I wasn't a fan of the chips served with it. Not sure if I'll try happy hour for food again but def for drinks. Will be back soon for dinner instead

Bought the full rack of ribs, they were good.but mashed potatoe serving very small. Potatoes are cheap, why not make sure the customer gets a sufficient amount

Food was delicious. The waitress seemed a bit distracted but we were there very late and she may have been tired from a long shift.

Received some cold food but was addressed fairly quickly. Food was also served on old looks not to clean cutting boards. Server was fairly quick with drinks overall food and service was ok.

Some prices like the wings is some what high. Plus, keep some food simple or with options. A Hawiian pizza doesn't need to be spiced up. Not everyone likes hot spicy food. Give us a choice. Hot for those who like hot and not for those that can't eat hot. Sometimes places trying to be fancy can go a bit too far.

Server was great, but all ladies were all having uncomfortable issues with their short skirts. Everyone of them spent alot of time pulling them down, and adjusting. Fries were unetible, I will come back, but will be having a salad.

Servers can be grumpy in restaurant sometimes.but the snack bar on casino floor has the most friendliest and helpful people!

Service is horrible. Untrained staff & not enough vegetarian options. Not one salad that doesn't have meat. Unimpressed. Not going back until changes are made. Music bingo fun though.

First time here because we had heard in past good things. Might have been good at one time but must have gone down hill. Nice place with potential. Beer is limited to low end big brewery brands. No local or craft which was disappointing. The salad I ordered was supposed to have 6 minute egg (not there), grilled tomato (not grilled) and green goddess dressing (instead it was some sweet oil and vinegar dressing). Won't be going back anytime soon. Much better places around town.

Had a fantastic meal at Match eatery this afternoon. The new burger benders are incredible, I had the BBQ Ranch Hand and was blown away by the taste. Our server was great, polite and prompt. Cant wait to come back soon to try more of the benders before they’re gone.

Eating out as somebody with MANY dietary restrictions is always a challenge, I found myself so happy with the service at match today, for every question I asked our server Sabrina was polite & helpful. We had the pleasure of meeting the new General manager & he guaranteed personally that my meal came out exactly as requested. Truly an exceptional experience, we can not wait to get back to!

The one thing they do right is serve up food poisoning. If you come here looking for good food that is served promptly, fresh, and valued right no better place to look then the trash bin.

First time coming back to Campbell river’s Match after hearing they had a change in Management and staff. Tonight was a fantastic experience here with restrictions loosing up! Our server Charlene was great! The manager quality checked and made this experience better. We will def be back again!

Decadent and delicious Mac & cheese and surprisingly good fish & chips. Lightly battered fish that was crispy and not greasy. Accompanied by a good coleslaw.

Went on a Monday evening to get fish and chips. We waited 25 minutes then asked our server for a status report. The server told us there was only one staff member in the kitchen. We waited another 10 minutes then told our server to cancel our order. We understand the predicament of being short staffed but waiting that long for 2 orders of fish and chips is a little much. For the future if you know you're understaffed and that food will take a while let your patrons know before they order.

Had an amazing night! Food was incredible, service was impeccable and the ambiance was great! So many things on the menu that I would love to try. Will definitely be coming back again soon!

Amazing atmosphere! First time eating there and the dirty fries were delicious. Very accommodating of people with celiac disease and friendly staff! Happy hour is one hell of a deal! Would definitely come back

Get their tacos, you won’t regret it! Add on some dirty fries and you are having the time of your life! Also, their late night happy hour deals are amazing! $5 food and drink deals

Little sad because we were denied brunch service on Sunday due to being understaffed (dining wasn't open because they had no staff!). Hope this is fixed as covid regulations open up- you guys have the best brunch menu!

Great experience! Fantastic food and atmosphere. The patio is heated. We were warm without sweaters and jackets. Also, the food was steaming hot when it was put on our table.

As it was my first time to be there to meet my friends, I was Happy. The Ambiance is good, there is Enough room for friends, live Music and I like the way they implemented safety rules to distance us from the rest of the crowd. But, my experience with food was not good. Maybe it was just once but, no, I will not go there if I am just going to eat. Better go somewhere else or cook at home. If it is to have fun with friends and Music, I would go back there.

Found this spot in the summer when I was intown for work. Now it’s a must when I’m in town. Great specials on food/drinks and awesome service thanks

The staff is wonderful but the manager is beyond amazing, not only is she very sweet, energetic and kind but she really went out of her way for me and she is the reason we keep coming back, Amy mistakes that have ever happened when I eat at the match have been accommodated above and beyond what was needed.godbless for a place like the match in campbell river.

Good place to share tastes pub food with friends. Pleasant atmosphere. Large windows for lots of light. Great sports type bar.

Delicious food, great live music, and good selection of beer. The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was to die for. Our server however stopped giving us a lot of attention after she found out only 2 of us were drinking and having only one round. And she seemed to become less friendly because we weren't buying lots of booze.

Ordered from Skip this weekend and the food is pretty disappointing for the steep prices. The veggie burger was mushy and unseasoned - the gravy tastes like dirty dishwater (completely inedible). A $16 meal that I ate the fries and threw the rest out. $8 for a tiny piece of cake that had obviously been sitting out - not fresh at all. Don't waste your money here.

I had a issue with a take out order, but the manager took care of everything and gave me a gift card. Their food is great. My family and I will be definently eating at match eatery again. Good job!

Just had a great meal on the beautiful ocean view patio. Incredible care being taken by staff with strict Covid-19 precautions. Highly recommend.
