Our 1st trip here was not very good. However, the service manager provided us with gift certificates to come back. Thankfully, we did come back and what a completely different experience. Our server (Rayburn) was warm, welcoming and very attentive. He went above and beyond. The service manager (Kelly) was also very hospitable and I saw him working as hard as the servers, making sure food got to the tables hot and was making sure everyone was enjoying their dinners/drinks.

I would definitely recommend Match as a great place for food at very reasonable prices, not to mention their happy hour specials are best in the area!

I'll start off with a good note possibly the best beef dip of ever had but other than that nothing fantastic.

Now the list all the bad.

My partner had a chicken dish and ended up getting violently sick a few hours after possibly the chicken was expired because it was cooked fine.

The service was a hot mess they allegedly got very busy when we showed up but it was maybe 10%. Iv seen 7-Eleven lineups more busy. Took us a while to get set down it took quite a long time to get drinks and food at one point in time the bartender came out to us and took her drinks but said she couldn't take our order cuz I was up to our server even though we're ready to order.

We were sad quite close to the bar and from where I was sitting and either direct line of sight to the bartender and she kept blowing her nose and touching her face and her hair with her hands and I didn't want see her use a sink to wash your hands or anyting she would just handle money and handle food. Definitely not food safe.

I have 2 times here.
The service is very good but takes a bit time. Also sometime it takes a while to be seated. I have tried the pepperoni pizza (it’s amazing with a good amount of baked garlic and a hint of maple syrup, that’s right) and it’s awesome (to my taste). Another dish was Alfredo pasta and it was okayish, the sauce was good and too soggy.

Amazing food! The food was delicious and everyone there were so polite and helpful! Going to be my favorite place to eat now!

Food has been great I'm there almost once a week addicted only ever had one issue with the shrimp special and they were happy to take it off the bill. I recommend the pepperoni pizza the honey glaze is an interesting twist and is delicious! Thanks match pub for another great meal!

Rayburn was an absolutely amazing server! Hope to have him again when we come back. So many food options to choose from!

Reserved a table for the Jon Jones fight 2 months prior, arrived and was given an ok table but noted there was a large table in front of the big screen, when we asked about moving to that table we were told it was reserved. We continued our evening with food and drinks - still noting the reserved table still had not been filled.few minutes before the main fight a smaller group of people came in watched the fight at that table and left. I feel feel our group spent more at the establishment than the 30 min guests, maybe preference on the table should be 1st come first serve as long as there is room for those who have reserved as well. Other than that service was good, food for the most part was fine, not a fan of the Nacho's.

Horrible place. Their food is very bland, no flavor what so ever. The bread they served with the pasta was stale. The waitress was so fake and couldn’t care less about us. Never again.

Match Eatery Delta was fantastic with our group. We were in town for a hockey tournament and they accommodated a group of 50 for lunch. We did a preorder and the food came out quickly and fresh. Kelly (the manager) and their staff were amazing to work with. Our families were impressed with the food and service. I would recommend them for any large group meal!

First time visiting a Match Eatery & Public House location, and this restaurant (located inside of Cascades Casino in Delta) did not disappoint! Our server Sam was incredible - she was attentive, friendly and on point. We were there for a fun event - Uncensored Comedy Night hosted by renowned Vancouver Comedy Ring - and the atmosphere was buzzing, patrons were laughing and it was a great vibe. The menu has diverse food options, and our dishes were delicious. The manager Sam Tite was welcoming and his team did a fantastic job that night. We will be back again soon!

Mariah was an absolute gem. Her character matched the energy of our company quite well. She was very acommodating to our n eeds and went above and beyond to tend to our requests. 100% would be back!

For a casino restaurant it’s pretty solid. Fantastic happy hour menu options, and wonderful staff members. Resos recommends during peak dining times.
Tacos were good but nothing special, tater tots were delicious. Extensive burger menu. Odd feedback but: fries aren’t very long, seem very bottom-of-the-bag fries.

If I could give fewer stars, I would. We had a group dinner here. Service was poor, disorganized, and very slow. Staff were polite for the most part, but not well trained. Rarely would they clear the empty dishes from our table.

Thai chicken bites and chicken wings were good appetizers. The calamari was completely flavourless…amongst the worst I’ve ever had.

For appies, the Caesar salad was ok, but the croutons were soggy. The French Onion soup was quite good.

For entrées, the steak was an abomination…about the worst unseasoned, tough, flavourless, jaw workout of a steak I ever had. The mashed potatoes were ok, and the cooked veggies were meh. I tried a few bites of the blackened Cajun chicken, and it was good.

For desserts, sticky toffee pudding was quite good. Others who had the seasonal (pumpkin) cake in a cup, said it was also good.

I had a Caesar which was pretty good, a screwdriver which was below par, and a Bellini which was fine.

The time between courses was ridiculous, and overall the food was not good enough that I’d ever want to return. And although most servers were at least polite and trying their best, the manager helped serve as well and was a bit rude while doing so. During the booking process (which was also poorly handled), I dealt with him as well and found him to be unprofessional then too.

There was 4 of us and we went there for lunch and then to do a bit of gambling. Our server was nice but we wait 45 mins for our drinks- the food some of it cold came sort there after. Food was just ok (small portions for the price)
The couple that came in 15 mins after us got there drinks timely and there food and left just as we were just getting or food
The server came back to ask if everything was alright and we ordered another round of drinks that never arrived. All of us were very disappointed and will not recommend this restaurant to anyone nor will we return.

Great food. Great wine, and happy hour specials on Food And Beverages. And restaraunt/Bar has a ton of sports screens and not a bad spot to enjoy the sports from view. Waitresses are very friendly

Ate lunch here today. Once seated service was great (we had to wait for someone to seat us but it wasn't longer than 5 minutes). Food was hot and delicious. I had mac and cheese and hubby had ribs. The Apple-tini was super yum! Our server came back to check on us at all the right times plus a couple of other servers checked on us too. Price was good. Definitely recommend and would go back for sure. Nice atmosphere and set up.

I sat at the bar and was served by Connolly, he was really pleasant to talk to and my order came fast, less than 10 minutes which was nice. I ordered the fish and chips which was pretty good, better than I expected.crunchy on the outside and moist and yummy on the inside. I really like this place and hopefully get to chat with Connelly again.

Ate here today. 11 of us and the food was excellent. No meals sent back and every person raved about their Brunch. Kathy was our waitress and she was terrific, we wanted for nothing, very attentive, hot water and coffee replenished without asking. We left a very happy group. Thanks again Kathy.

When we first arrived we were asked if we wanted booth or table and we were given a nice booth.
It took a little while for the server to come and ask what we wanted for drinks: but once they came the service was great! The food looked and tasted delicious!

Went to Match at the new Cascade Casino. Pretty busy Saturday nights so be aware. Had our name on waiting list and then got to sit at the bar. Food was ok, servers are great but ditch the DJ and music until after the hockey game.

Service was good. Food was ok. Kettle chips were killed.burger and Mac and cheese were very good.

We originally went into the casino for the buffet. They wanted over 90 dollars for 3 of us, they wouldn't give us the child price for my daughter because she was 12. My daughter can never finish a kids meal so we said forget that, let's go into match. They were friendly and courteous. Our waitress was nice but clearly new to waitressing as she wasn't super attentive. Food took a long time but it was very good. The managers were very present and accommodating, when our waitress didn't pour our wine, one manager came over to offer his service. We paid around 70 dollars for 3 meals and a bottle of wine, which is good pricing. The kids meal is only $8 which I think is a perfect price for kid food. Obviously it's new, they are trying to work out the kinks but I bet that it will only get better with training and time.

Second time here. First time was on opening day, which wasn’t very good. We were seated promptly and the food arrived in a timely manner, but I think that was because the buffet wasn’t open yet. Both Matches and The Buffet share the same kitchen. My burger was OK, but my fries were like the bottom of the barrel. Tiny little pieces. The table next to us had $10 Sunday pizzas, which I would have ordered if I had known. No one mentioned the HAPPY HOUR or the SPECIALS available. Seems like there are still some issues to work out.

They were out of both of the beers I asked for and one of the managers said he didn’t want us back after we questioned him on alcohol availability

First time eating at this location, Rory was our server and came over right away. Amazing Vibes. My Steak was amazing my Husbands ribs came a little bit on the cooler side which Rory promptly got it corrected. The manager however over heard and checked on it, made sure it was fixed, and took care of it and got us a desert. This was an amazing customer service! I highly recommend!

Went this Thursday (0ct 6) at 5 pm. Was told it was a 20 minute wait, but there was very few people inside at time. The next people arriving were told 30 minute wait. Next people where told 45 minute wait.

Wife asked hostess why is there a wait, when restaurant fairly empty. Was told, we don't have enough staff and the Kitchen is backed up. At 5 pm?

Lucky we got seated in 5 minutes. Restaurant less than 35 % full. It was Happy Hour (from 3 to 6pm). We were after a bottle of white wine, and tried to order, telling waitress we wanted half price wine, which is any wine on their menu. She said, you missed that yesterday (Wednesday). We had to show her the Menu stating Happy hour was EVERY day from 3 -6 pm. She went oh yeah. But it's after 6. Not so, It was 5: 15! So she then took our wine order.

After 10 minutes another waitress came back and told us we don't have that white wine. So we has 2 other more expensive options for her to bring. Then she took our food order. Wife order from menu that was written, Ceasar salad with "shrimp". Waitress said you mean Prawns. Wife said it says shrimp. OK then the prawns, she said! Is anybody listing to what a customer orders?

So having two waitresses, it is obvious that they (staff) don't even know their own menu. Are very untrained, And a bit nasty correcting a customer when you have tell them what on their menu, and they are wrong!

Meanwhile, get a third person, this time male, searching for white wine bottle telling us we don't have any of those now four different types of white wines we tried to order. He, said he even went to casino Summit bar. So, in essence, Match restaurant Delta and casino bar, had No bottles of white wine to offer at 5 pm ish to customers!

After going thru this 25 minute wine wait with no success, we just said cancel our food orders, we are leaving. Unacceptable. And by the looks of it, our food was not going to arrive any time soon either after almost half hour.

Our take, the Match restaurant in this casino is highly unorganized. There is no team server spirit yet. Servers don't know their own menu or not to criticize a customer, when the customer obviously knows more about your menu than they do (we eat at other Match and Persona's regularly same company). Maybe they should study their menu!

On exit, we were approached by a Match Service Manager (how did he know?) He appologized for our experience and offered to see him next time we come to Match, to do something for us. My question would be, we sat for 25 minutes at table with this nothing experience and at least 4 staff coming to our table. So, Where was he say, during that time to just before we got up and left our table?

Zero stars if possible.

I went October 1st around 8pm and was told the wait would be about an hour long. That wasn't a big deal because we wanted to gamble, we put our names down and went on with our evening. About 45 mins In to our wait we decided to go and check the wait time, they were now able to seat us. Upon walking into the dulled atmosphere of a pub we noticed over 30% of the tables were empty, was disappointed we waited as long as we did. The sever sat us down and there we waited, Noone showed up to take our drink order or even acknowledge us. A table that was sat after us placed a drink order and was given drinks before we were even acknowledged. This was frustrating to see as we saw a half empty bar and a bunch of staff running around with a glaze in their eye. We got up and took our buisness elsewhere, won't be back.
