Mattu's Coffee & Tea

Oh no. 3 times I went there I had an issue each time. The coffee is terrible tasting on 2 of the visits. The other time the employee wasn't trained to make something on their menu. She was young so I wasn't mad.but yeah. This is basic stuff here. 3 times too many. Avoid.

Great ice cream, decent food, and the girl working when I went in was friendly and trying her best. But as you can see in the photo, the place is packed. There was around 25-30 people, and only one employee. She also seemed to be new, as she was regularly reading instructions. Why is there only one employee at all, let alone someone apparently inexperienced? It’s undue stress for her, and results in both long wait times and incorrectly made orders.

Horrible coffee. I drink a lot of coffee, from the usual suspects but also from gas stations - yes, I drink a lot of coffee - but the coffee I had from this place was the worst coffee that I can remember. I could have had a cup of Sanka and it would have been just as satisfying. How a "coffee joint" makes coffee this bad is a mystery. Obviously, I will not return.

Cheesecake was good but the Mocha tasted like watered down hot chocolate. Very disappointing, won't go back. Not spending $5.for an inferior coffee.

In a great location, horrible customer service, the worser breakfast wrap what I ever tried. Only one good is a summer patio. Coffee is over roasted

This coffee shop has great drinks and food that keep me coming back.however, the unfriendly and unwelcoming attitude of the staff (most of the time are ladies) is disappointing.their complete lack of friendliness and common courtesy ruins the overall experience. I hope the management can improve the customer service so they can show that they care about retaining customers.

The female blonde employee gave me attitude for no reason today and they’re sooo slow at making drinks. I wouldn’t come back even if it was free

A bit disappointed after coming here. It's in a good location. They have a huge drink menu and nice seating. However they don't have much food to eat there unless you want a pastry.

The girl got my order wrong so I didn't like the drink.

The available tables to sit at were dirty and so I cleaned it myself

Good coffee, but that's all. I went there to work for a couple of hours but couldn't get on their wifi. They advertise free wifi on their front door, but have out-dated instructions on an old post-it where you pick up your drink. The barristas were polite enough when I ordered my $7 coffee, but no help at all when it comes to connecting to the internet. With cafes popping up all over the Willoughby/Yorkson area, Mattu's needs to step up their game.

This place doesn’t seem to know how to run a business properly. The staff didn’t seem to know what was going on and they mentioned that only the owners know the password for the guest wifi which seems odd to me. The bathroom was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days.

Coffee shop has trendy vibes but staff seem miserable. I live in the neighborhood and will stop sometimes with my dog. Tonight we stopped in only to find the patio was closed (with no explanation). Girl at the till was more interested in her cell phone than working.

A wonderful little coffee shop but you can tell the girls working are under a lot of stress, I come here quit often and never see more than 1-2 girls working. They are definitely always short staffed… looks like they could use more help! It would make it a lot faster for both us and the staff.

This place has incredible coffee. The service is awesome and they have hard ice-cream for the kids. It is very clean and well laid out. I will definitely be back next time I am in town.

The quality of the coffee is good, but service is awful. They serve coffee in paper cup for dine in. They don't service at your table. And yet, they don't know Latte Art.

I don’t know may be the girl who was at the till was new or what. I ordered a mango slush of small size and she doesn’t even know how much quantity she has to put in and she gave me half the cup with lots of ice cubes in it so that the cup looks more filled. So disappointed.

Ok look I good complete wrong orders the workers swearing at me and so rude and 40 minites for a refund

Just 2 people inside and 2 baristas and waiting 10 min just take order? You should hire trained people not kids don’t know what they doing.

Beautiful coffee shop at a very convenient location, the coffee is ok which used to be really good and sadly the pastry was very old so I couldn’t finish it.

Lattes are very milky. I like my lattes to taste like coffee, not a hot cup of milk. Customer service was very poor.
