The most unfriendly, unhelpful agents I have ever dealt with. I have been here a few times because it’s close to my house so I go out of convenience. I’ll make the drive across town from now on. Hard to even get a smile out of these people.

This was my second trip here in the last 6 months. The person that helped me this time wasn't the same helpful human as last, however the assistance I received today was possibly more helpful. Not only were they happy to take the time to educate me but they also laid out all my different options and costs attached (including cancellation costs), then patient enough to wait while I weighed said options and made a phone call to another party involved for more information and input. I left knowing a lot more about how the insurance in British Columbia works, well informed of my personal situation and with the end result that I went in looking for. Thanks again Maxxam!

Shayne from Maxxam Insurance has always been a pleasure to deal with. We have insured multiple vehicles through Maxxam and highly recommend. Easy, fast and informative.

I personally went in to the company to cancel all policies on Jan 18 /22. I gave them the folder with all the policies so as to be sure everything would be canceled. Here it is March 02/22 and I’m going through my bank statement only to see that they have debited my account on Feb01/22 and again on March 01/22. When I called them to inquire why I was still being billed, their excuse was I didn’t specifically say each policy by name. Even though both policies to be canceled were in the folder. I was told they can’t give me the refund. Not only did they do this me, they also did it to my spouse who had multiple policies with them. Only through a not so pleasant debate they said they would give us the refund. Insurance companies who make record profits every year pulling scams like this on the clients that give them business is unacceptable. Shame on you taking advantage of people to increase your profit margins.

Linda Dohmeier was an absolute rock star! We had a tricky situation with a time crunch, and her service and solutions were so far above expectations. Very professional, but also personable.
10/10, A+, would absolutely recommend her teams services and will be using them again.

One person negatively impacted the entire office. She was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. A detriment to the office. The only reason i give them 2 stars instead of one is because the woman i was speaking did the best she could. Thank you.

Really friendly, courteous and way better opening hours than everyone else. Plus centrally located. Definitely would recommend.

ICBC has a galactic circus of fees, charges and other nonrefundable eye gouges, but that's not Maxxam's fault. If I could, I'd pour a hot coffee on ICBC: that's the only part of my experience that was missing today.

Today I dealt with Emily and let me tell you it made the experience fantastic. Not only was very knowledgeable (I had one million questions) she was friendly and made me feel like she appreciated my business. Well done Emily
