Kulwinder at Maxxam is awesome I will only deal with her as she is diligent and responds in a timely manner and extremely pleasant to liaise with. She is an invaluable asset to your company.

After leaving several msgs with the agent I've dealt with for 6 years, and for the manager, I've never recieved a callback so I guess I have to leave a detailed review explaining my 1 star. I live remotely and back in Feb I called Nikita the agent and asked him to change the account my insurance payments were coming out of. He asked me to send a void cheque with the new account information and I did. Assuming it was done I heard nothing back. I ended up moving. Turns out my icbc payments were bouncing and I had no idea. I called him, texted him and got no response. His office told me the number I had for him was correct. I called multiple times to try and catch him as well as left msgs to speak with the manager. Now I owe icbc a bundle of money and they probably won't let me pay monthly anymore since I have a bad history with paying them through no fault of my own. Maxxam didn't even offer to help correct this massive error by their own employee, instead telling me to go to my closest rep and explain the situation. Things happen but when a business doesn't own up to their mistake or try to fix it, they don't deserve to be operational. Absolutely terrible service and now dealing with icbc which is already difficult, is going to be that much worse. Luckily for you the reader, you have a lot of options for insurance brokers and you can easily avoid this place and especially that agent. I would single him out but after leaving multiple msgs for him and the manager and not getting a single response, clearly the whole place is trash if I can't even get a call back from someone who's supposed to be managing the place.

Used to be such a joy to walk into this place. I even insured my newest company vehicle with them because the service was so good and I wanted to have all my cars at the same place. Things have gone downhill and I always feel like a nuisance now when I walk in! I don’t know what happened.

I had an issue cancelling my policy after an accident. After a month and a half and 6 different brokers, I pretty much gave up but the money missing from my account every month motivated me to keep going. Luckily, I came here and Jeff resolved my issue within 10 minutes. I am extremely grateful and highly recommend his expertise and professionalism to anyone!

Service here has completely gone downhill. Was using them for many years for both auto and home insurance until this summer when renewal came up. Incredibly pushy trying to get me to accept an offer when they knew I was getting quotes. When I asked for a discount the service disappeared and they ghosted me as a client and would not even respond. Will gladly take my business elsewhere.

I received excellent service from this team when I contacted them recently regarding my policy. Especially, Habibeh who is very
helpful and was great to deal with.

Shiela is doing a great job. She is managing my business policies. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She was recomanded me by a different business owner that is working with her for years. Its hard to find this days professionals that actually doing a good job and trused. If you are looking for insurance for your business so she is the one.

Had chosen replacement insurance when I bought my car 2.5years ago with Maxxam. When I sold the car I tried to cancel my policy, the agent told me she'd look into it as we thought the dealership may have canceled it when I sold the car. I got a call back a day later saying she couldn't find anything, decided to sign new cancelation paperwork, said she would email me the documents, never received, she called back later saying the mail bounced and repeated the email back and it was something completely different, reconfirmed the email and it's now been 2 weeks later with nothing sent to me. I've tried calling and they just say they'll pass a note on, absolute runaround and unprofessional. I've now had to talk to my bank to put a stop payment so they can stop taking money out of my account for a vehicle that's been sold for 2 months now.

On more than one occasion, Jeff Labrecque and his team went above and beyond to help. Thank you!

I've been looking for another ICBC broker so I decided to give this place a try. The lady that helped me add my son to the car policy was fantastic!
Things quilkly fell apart when I wanted to ask if there's a GVW my F450 may need inspection. A genteman with more experience was bought up. Without asking the rate class, he told me that since it was over 5000kg it needed National Saftey Code Inspection. I said that's not right because the NSC doesn't apply to vehicles rated for pleasure use. He didn’t like my answer so he turned around and walked away.
Too bad the fantastic work by one person can be wrecked so easily by another.

I got the worst service ever today! The person working on a Sunday April 30th 2023 is absolutely the worst. She has very little knowledge of the service she is meant to provide and just caused a huge deal of frustration and unnecessary cost. I'm so upset, as I've never received such terrible service at Maxxam.

Had a fantastic visit today from Ritesh Mittal. He jumped over to Langley Mazda on a weekend to help us out on his own accord. Very helpful, swift and resourceful. He helped keep my insurance costs down while making sure I had complete coverage. Highly recommend!

Sarah amazing from the time I called, her positive, cheerful, energetic and quick on the spot service and validation of my coverage by email with half hour is beyond my expectations. Thank you so much Sarah. UR AWSOME AND YOU ROCK. YOU MADE MY DAY

With thanks to Andera she managed to solve my insurance problem that was created by another agency. Andera provided an excellent and professional service highly recommended to work with her for all your insurance needs.

The lady talked to me like I was some sort of insurance expert and wanted me to answer all these questions that I had no idea about about different technicalities, about different dates of things from five years ago and different types of insurance all to get a quote and I had no idea, plus then apparently she messed up and did not put a declared value on my vehicle and made a big deal about it but said she couldn't do anything and it means that ICBC will pay me only the book value on my vehicle and she said she couldn't fix it or do anything about it. I don't know. I felt stupid after coming out of there plus I was super stressed.

I do not recommend this place

Very poor service for renewing car insurance. If you get an associate named Onkar helping you, turn around and leave. Rude, talks down to you, and doesn't go through the steps to make sure that you have the coverage that you want.
