Highly suggest you try! I wish to acknowledge the hairdresser whom has has impressed me with her proactivity, professionalism, vision, and commitment to excellence in her chosen vocation. Her name is Brooke A. She invested a lot of time in color correcting, foiling, styling, treating, and recommending both hair styles and innovative techniques in regard to my hair needs. She went to every length to ascertain what my hair needed and executed mastery with my style and color. Gregory.her supervisor was instrumental in listening to my needs as a client and supporting Brooke in achieving the desired outcome for their objectives. Their humility, approachability and hair expertise enrich the team here at Marvel. They collaborated well together and I wish them both the very best in their future endeavors. I was booked in for an appt but when i got to their spa they informed me that they had no students there to provide my service and i was told i would get a call back to work something out.when i didn’t get a call back after about a month i called and booked another appt myself.the day of that appt they called me and told me they had to cancel my appt because the student was sick.

Please don’t waste your future on paying this off. It won’t get you anywhere. 8 years later and this did nothing for me. Just debt. You can easily apprentice under someone. This is a grave you’re digging

Their honesty and dedication to healthy hair is extremely appreciated. They always do an exceptional job assessing my hair and deciding the best course of action.

I could not rate this place highly enough. Kennedy, my student stylist, is very accomplished for her level of study, courteous and easy to talk to. The teaching staff seem friendly, highly qualified and professional.

The salon itself feels more like a real salon environment rather than a place of learning and the rates are impressively low, especially compared to hair styling services in Kelowna and BC.

I understand student cuts are not for everyone, but I fail to see how anyone could be unimpressed with the offering here. A very easy five stars

First of all I understand its a learning environment. I went in for Tri color foils. I never got what I expected. The young person assisting me was pleasant but hung over. 3x my hair was rinsed and I still went home with color in my hair. What ever was used in the parrial foils and on my tips fried my hair, to the point I can't run a brush through it. My roots are a dark brown and length is blond. I had color left on my skin from my roots. The teacher over seeing left at end of shift so student then rushed. I never got a cut and style as advertised. And on leaving, I ended up paying twice the amount that was expected for tri color foils I never got! I ended up getting a root touch up, partial foils and toner.
Be wise with going to a school.

Everyone was super nice, kind and friendly. I got my hair trimmed and styled by a student there and he did a great job.

Not recommended. Totally disppointed with the services I received. The one hour massage was more like 45 minutes. The student taking all the information suddenly became sick while I was waiting in the room, face down for an extended period of time. The instructor came in and told me another student would be taking over. The new student did not read or go over the detailed notes taken by the original student and simply rushed through the treatment. When the instructor came in for feedback I advised her of this and she simply did not care. In a phone call to her this morning about my eyelash tint needed a redo, she told me that her main customers are her students and not the paying customers. I advised her that with all the Group On coupons out there prices were cheaper to go to a professional established business than to come to a school and be treated so poorly. She argued with me, the esthetics instructor and told me she didn't like my attitude.well. I sure didn't like her lack of caring about the quality of service this school should strive for. They are students and are learning.but with an attitude of the head instructor in esthetics, it doesn't surprise me now why I got the lack of service that I did. Very disappointed with this school and how this particular instructor thinks that she is not open to any suggestions for improving the school.

Once again I trusted this college.the floor and area were filthy, the students afraid of their instructor (Stephanie) and the Director Nicki basically kicked me out and called police after my shortened treatment because they were late and I had a cancer treatment. I missed my cancer treatment. I will report the lack of standard and the dirty conditions of the rooms.

I had an amazing experience, Nicole was the student stylist. She listened, and gave me the exact haircut, colour and style that I described. The instructor was also amazing, I would highly recommend this hair studio!

They wouldn't allow my sleeping newborn into the spa for my 30 min lash tint. When asked why, she said 'I don't know, it's just a rule'
Obviously I'm not going to leave my baby with a stranger at the check in counter.so I guess I have to find a new place to get my lashes done.

Ask for Kathleen! Professional, quality service and somehow still in school. She did a leg wax and eyelash extensions for me and it was amazing! Better lash extensions than some of the salons in town. Highly recommend

Went to school for waxing here. Definitely recommend courses are affordable and hands on so you get a chance to try everything!

Saw Carlie today, she was stunning and did an incredible job. I will be back at the end of month for she talked me into highlights! Thanks so much!
