Lovely park for humans. Well kept. Close to a school or daycare or something but there is a lot of loud children nearby. Really nice shaded path splitting the park with benches ro hang out. Fairly quiet. LOTS of off leash dogs (it is not off leash)

The playground is quite quiet in the park. For smaller children there are freely available vehicles. And there are swings, slides and a rotating climbing net. Recommended for children aged 1-6. There are public tennis courts with a net for adults.

It's very fun as the people who reside nearby all play soccer on Saturday and are all welcomed.

Good quality tennis courts, playground, and ball diamond, with lots of open area for merriment.

Village Vancouver are the “artist in residence” at the field house. I was part of the team setting up the vertical garden there and I think it came out pretty.

A huge green space along 4th avenue and Waterloo St that we enjoyed recently.parking just below Waterloo St and making our way to the park which offers a very wide range of activities—tennis courts, bathroom facilities, tables for enjoying food and drinks on the outdoor tables, and sports fields for softball/baseball events.we continued down Waterloo St to Jean Beaty Park and onto Hastings Mill Park.a delightful stroll of 8300 steps while walking such interesting streets of friendly Kitsilano back to where we parked our car…here again to stroll the park, then wander down 4th Ave to Hastings Mill Park to have that expansive view of English Bay

Great park with well-maintained playground equipment and lots of space to run around. The playground equipment is fairly new, but mostly designed for older children (not the best for kids under 3)

Baseball diamonds, tennis courts, playground, benches and a row of picnic tables make this an all-around nice park for families and everyone. Level sports field for soccer or frisbee. Lots of mature trees offer a nice balance of sun and shade. Enjoy!

Two baseball diamonds, large open field visually isolated from 4th Avenue for some privacy, children's play area, several outdoor tennis courts, numerous waste receptacles.

In the center of Kitsilano, close to the beach and super close to groceries, restaurants and shops. Calm and relaxed area

McBride is composed of two parts; one, a large, open sports field and the other, a combination of tennis courts and children’s play area surrounded by mature trees. These large trees provide several quiet places perfect for reading on a bench or having a small picnic.

The Provincial Government donated this land to the Park Board on July 26,1911. It was officially named on that date after Sir Richard McBride, Premier of British Columbia at the time. During World War I the park was used for the cultivation of vegetables.

A lovely park with well maintained facilities. 4 stars because this is Vancouver and I'm spoiled not because this isn't a great place to spend an afternoon.

Clean and well maintained park. There is a playground for kids and fenced in tennis courts, as well as two baseball diamonds on the large field.

There are sometimes off leash dogs here, but are well behaved and the owners are respectful and always pick up after their dots

Favorite local playground for my young daughter. Great place to meet other families and for kids to play in a safe space.
