McBurney's Coffee & Tea House

The coffee I tried here was the worst! Regret trying out this place, the coffee menu was priced higher than regular, regret paying more for such a bad taste.

I stopped in get some coffee and do a bit of work, and what a gem to stumble upon! The Victorian decor in this coffee shop is gorgeous. I love the careful details that create an ambiance that's a step above others. Also the coffee was right on target in terms of flavour and strength, and the owner is super friendly, too. Such an unexpected, unique place for old Langley, I'd definitely visit again when I'm around.

The lavender latte here is amazing and the woman working there that we see with my girlfriend always has very cool outfits and is very good at her job. I have not tried the food but my girlfriend says everything she's tried is good

McBurneys has been upgraded and it’s cute as heck with its dainty and beautiful decor. I’ve been twice since the renovations and both times it’s been nice. The cakes and treats been fab (tons of dessert selections). My first visit I ordered flat white and it didn’t taste right so they remade it for me, which was very kind of them. Second time I visited the cafe I got flat white again and it was half the size as the first time I visited. For me, consistency is key, but I’ll be back anyways because overall the cafe is really lovely.

The refreshed McBurney’s look’s lovely and bright inside. Had a Rose Latte & a Nanaimo bar, the latte was very pretty and fluffy, though more rose flavor would not have gone amiss. Fast service and reasonable prices.

This place is awesome the workers are so kind and professional. I asked for a to go cup for my coffee and the man poured it in and made extra sure the lid was on right he was very nice. The food is good too!

I’m not sure what I think about the atmosphere as it is a bit sterile feeling. I like the live wood table and the other unique tables but it doesn’t have a cozy feel to it.

The coffee was pretty hot and the staff friendly. There are no discounts on refills. The good was fresh and the amenities clean.

2 stars only because it was not super busy - but there is a reason for that. The cheesecake was terrible, and the latte was sub par at best.

They have upgrade this coffee shop. It’s pretty modern and clean. They used unique decoration and staging. The coffee quality is pretty good and I haven’t tried anything else. The only reason i give 4 star is they are not fast but that could have been my luck. Beside that I give it 5 star

Really interesting décor, with very nice wood tables, and furniture. Coffee was great, and the food options were really good as well.

Today my son and I visited mcburneys coffee and we had a great experience! The women and man working there were so helpful and kind. They didn’t have any high chairs but the women brought out a large play mat for my son to crawl on, and even offered to help with him while I ate lunch. They brought food and beverages to our table. All in all, the customer service was amazing and I’m so grateful for our experience today!

Nice renovations, but the prices of coffee and tea are insane. You can’t even order different sizes. It’s all one size, about the same as a Starbucks grande for a tea or a coffee or a latte. I paid $4.50 for a peppermint tea. It was clearly a commercial brand, like Twinings that you can buy at the grocery store, not even loose leaf, and they cut the tag off so you can’t even tell what brand it is. It was literally a 10 cent tea bag in a cup of hot water and they charged $4.50. That’s more than Starbucks charges for a venti. I won’t be going back to this place that clearly gouges its customers - yes I realize inflation is high but that is still the most ridiculous price for a simple cup of hot water with a teabag in it.

I stood at the till for 2 minutes while the staff member just stared at the till. Maybe working, but for the sake of respect, please give me eye contact and say you will be a moment. I left and got a fine coffee elsewhere.
