McDonald's

Just went there today, the first machine inside we tried froze while attempting to order food. The second machine was unable to accept any form of payment, causing us to get in a lineup for the one cashier. When we got our food, the coffee was cold. Enough said.

Surprisingly our order was hot and fresh. I took a star off for adding onions when I requested none

You always know what you are getting at McDonald's, but this one was particularly good. I just went in for a breakfast sandwich and a coffee, and both were fresh and hot.

Its McDonalds, i went because they have the app and it was quick, had the new chicken blt and it was decent for what it is, i dont think they can ever be a 5 star but it is what it is, timeless and quick.ish

Ordered a McChicken sandwich. I opened it to remove the wilty looking piece of lettuce. Being less than fresh was not the biggest problem, t giant brown wormhole in the middle of it was! Uuugh!

Giy slow to take order! Then ask for orange fruitopia give us strawberry when tell him wrong he say that what he put down! Then got snippy! Both workers where young guys so guessing they didn't want be there!

Waited until 5: 30 am for the drive through to open Monday morning and then left with it still blocked terrrrible place

The fries had no salt whatsoever and tasted like soggy paper. They had no hash browns. And we got a trolls toy instead of a scooby doo toy with our scooby doo meal.

Place has ok service if you go inside.but I have gotten 5 coffees from there and they never stir there coffee. And I have to shake it for awhile till it tastes right

Worse McD's on the planet, lukewarm food, some drive through workers are rude, and half the time no monopoly stickers on the large orders! Huh?

It's a McDonald's. Very much the other locations. Long drive thru wait times. Food is okay, good for a once in a while treat.

Arrived at restaurant just before 5am, but since it opens at 5am, I waited. By 5: 15am, it still was not open. Employee inside saw that there was a line in the drive-through, but chose not to acknowledge we were there. I would not suggest going to this location due to poor customer experience.

Here's the thing. I understand that it has been tough to find employees this year, and because of that sometimes businesses have had to modify their hours. But for heavens sake, why wouldn't you shut down mobile ordering if you close early? Multiple times I have submitted an order through the app and shown up to a closed restaurant. This is the height of laziness.

I ordered a #6 meal, spicy habanero chicken burger with fries and a coke. I was not pleased with my food. Cold fries and burger had no taste.

Their was two specials on for advertisements and didn't have either one!
Didn't have the big mac either ended up with filet fish. Very disappointed

No vegetarian-type burgers, no salads, fillet-o-fish bun wasn't steamed as it was many years ago and the fish wasn't hot so it was mediocre, creamers for coffee were in wasteful mini coffee cups, no stir stick to mix the sugar and cream in the coffee, got the wrong toy in the kid's meal we ordered, location is drab and dark, plastic straw for the juice, only 1 container for waste so it's apparent McDonald's isn't interested in trying to be environmentally responsible.

I am really getting tired of getting home to find my order is wrong. Outside of box says double but single inside, no apple, no mustard sauce.even after I've asked them to confirm. It happens too often.

Worst drive-thru experience ever. 20 minutes in the front through. They asked me to pull over after ordering my food and took another 7 minutes to get the food out to me. Next time just park and walk inside.

Quite a long line of cars for the drive through but service time was quick and both food and drink typical McDonald's quality.

The staff member who brought my order to my car was great! They even realized I had placed a second order and put both in the same bag.

Worst drive through in town, check your order you will never get more than you ordered but often miss parts of it. But they fast

Breakfast bagel sandwiches are very good, service is timely but the kids working there have to add "thank you " to their vocabulary.

Loud rude cashier. Stood for 5 mins while she was kidding around with the other staff. Finally had to shout "excuse me" to get her attention. We ordered and then she loudly told us in future we have to show our coupon before ordering. She harped on and on about it. Lots of orders messed up today, Jan 9, and lots of irate people. I had ordered a orange pekoe tea. The first time I ended up.wiyh a cup.rhat was labeled orange pekoe, but when took sip.it was bitter coffee. Second time, it was like weak and old, and then for taking it back, the young guy on till, who looked maybe like a training newbie, had the best personality, the best tea maker, he responded gently and he had great customer service. Aside from him, there wasn't a lot of friendly staff around. It was busy, yes, but McDonald restaurants are always busy. Maybe looking into a different and more complete system for the workers to have would be best. Also the booths need updating, because one booth had 2 giant gaping rips. Not very comfy. I do appreciate the social distancing measure taken though!

I wanted to vote -5 stars, yes that is MINUS 5 but, sadly it wouldn’t let me!
They always forget something from our order, they always short on their cold fries! I once ordered a 2 Cheeseburger meal with no onions and they gave me 1with and 1without onions & that order I was parked for and waited almost 10 minutes for! They are always parking people! This is the worst McDonalds in our opinion! We will definitely be going elsewhere from now on!

Food ads say it's supposed to be 'Hotter'. It's not. In fact the cheese on my breakfast sandwich was so cold, that it cooled the entire sandwich to an unpalatable mess. I love McD food. I hate McD food. Don't know why I return.

The website for the place indicated that they were now open for dining in! Simply not the case! Went to Tim Horton's instead. Got just what we ordered and were served by really nice staff.table and were done in no time. Seriously! If you say you are ope, you should be!

First thing was they refused to give me the receipt and then complained I didn't order a kid's happy meal after they asked if it was a book or toy for the happy meal, big Mac was loaded with big Mac sauce fries were cold and stale and so were the nuggets

They are doing well under the circumstances. Thumbs up to the lad who looked after my order. From behind his mask, he made eye contact; such an important action in this environment. Coffee good but a bit more effort needs to be taken to continuously sanitize the public areas.

Had a job out in Sydney for the last 21 days and consecutively there has been no sugar in my coffee everyday I just bring my own. This is by far the worst McDonald's coffee in the world head office should be notified with how terrible this hot water you guys call coffee is.oh and the attitude of the employees don't even get me started

if you expect a naturally good morning coffee from McDonald's like every time you go there do not visit this location

Complete disappointment with the overall customer service experience at this specific location. I had to wait patiently in my car almost four minutes for an associate to take my order when it was finally my turn in the drive-thru. The second drive-thru lane was running, and since there was no one to help in my lane, I had to back up, along with three cars behind me and had to get back in line again into the second lane. When I talked to the supervisor about the situation, instead of saying sorry that no associate was present to help almost four minutes and making me and the other cars behind me wait for nothing, she preferred to argue with me that the wait time actually was not that long (!). Seriously (?).
I think the McDonald's upper level should really reconsider the quality of their customer service and the staff at this specific location, as that definitely does not reflect the way it should be.

They must be training up a bunch of new staff because everything that could go wrong did.took me after my turn in the drive-thru lane, got the coupon for the donuts confused and then forgot about both donuts, and the coffee was colder than room temperature.all was cheerfully sorted by the guy running up a million steps back and forth to almost every car in front of me, too!

Well it's the local gag and puke and prices are pretty high for unhealthy food but people do eat it

Convenient location. Lots of seating. At least 4 self serve order machines. Play area - which is ok. The food was Mcdonalds standard grade, which is why i struggle with giving more than 3 stars. It was all fine. Fries were nice and salty. But nothing was spectacular. Pictured is the junior chicken and fries. Do enjoy McDs coffee. But unless the restaurant is out of the ordinary. 3 stars it is.

A bit of a joke of a location. The store was dead, I ordered a coffee and fries, and had to wait upwards of 10 minutes just for that. The time I would have let slide if they hadn't also wasted a disposable coffee cup when I had a reusable cup with me.

I just ordered a Quarter pounder BLT with no pickles, a 10 piece of McNuggets, a medium Fruitopia, a medium Ice Coffee and a medium chocolate shake. When I got to the pick up window the staff member gave me my three drinks and a bag of food. There were people lined up behind me. The staff member then proceeded to give me 2 Sweet 'n' Sour dipping sauces for my nuggets. I drove back to work, and when I got to work there were no McNuggets in the bag. While I take some responsibility for not checking my order at the window, there is an expectation that the order will be CORRECT.

The sign says all day breakfast, but when I tried to order a McMuffin at 11am the girl rudely told me they were serving lunch now, so I couldn't have breakfast. Burger was cold.

Convenient when driving to the ferry, but every time I get served cold fries and they never give straws. Wish there was something else en route.

The fries were good but over salted. The jr chicken I got was old, they forgot 3 of our drinks but upsized us. The place was clean and the staff were nice.

This McDonalds is located on the Pat Bay highway. The Galloping Goose cycling trail runs right by, making it a popular stop for cyclists as well as for motorists heading for the ferry or the airport. The food is what you'd expect at McDonalds - no big surprise there- but it is spacious and I've always found the service to be good. They also have a drive-through and there are gas stations near by if a fuel stop is needed.

The staff is nice but why go through the drive thru if you make me park every time.last three times I had to park and they park everyone. Yes your times at the window are fast but this is cheating the window time system.

Worst McDonald’s experience I’ve had so far, went through the drive thru at around 10: 30 pm, only to be told that 90% of the items were gone. Ended up buying a breakfast sandwich and a sprite, which took 25 mins for me to receive since I was only given my drink and told to park in the lot and wait for my sandwich.could be a lot better considering it’s “fast” food.

In 2003 I bought 5 Big Xtra burgers from this McDicks because they were $1.79 each. Went straight to Durrance Lake and threw them down the women's out house!

The royal oak drive through in the early morning is fantastic! Very quick and hot and fresh! Always a very polite person working the same shift every week! She's very reliable

I am breaking my rating into two. 4stars for the staff. They really do their best, and they do it well. However I give the site 2 stars. Every single time over the last three months there has been no ice cream available, no shakes at all. The staff tells me there will not be any as the machine does not work. One of your key items on the menu should be fixed asap, or a sign should be posted stating it s broken And when it is GOING to be fixed.

Likely the best McDonald's in the south island area. Never had a problem with anything here although it is really busy being a highway hotspot locale. Friendly staff every time and the drive-thru very efficient at getting orders right.unlike the disgusting Pandora location.

It like everytime I order food from McDonald's, they throw my food around before I get it. I have to fix my burger myself. McDonald's can get sloppier.

I stopped by this Macdonald's on the way to the ferry. I get up to the cafeteria on the ferry only to find out I was given the wrong meal. Twice now
