As usual, quick predictable service generating an expected product.in this case, a small soft icecream cone.

Came here a few nights ago and they didn't have ice cream and of all things, they had no straws. Not much of a big deal to mw except I have kids and no straws is a big deal to them. Come here again, get back to me hotel after a long 13 hr work day and they forget my fries for all 3 of my meals. Gave me a small ice cream for the all this.

Honestly pretty bad. Never wanna go here again. Not even workers, always forgets something and not good service either. It looks alright from outside and in but not until you order. This McDonald’s will be known to be the worst for me.

Tables are always dirty when I come to this location. Staff are friendly enough but service can be dead slow. I recently had to wait in line for half an hour before they even took my order at the till, there was only one customer in front of me. The staff seemed to be prioritizing drive through orders, and making an effort not to acknowledge the people in line or make eye contact. There's no reason they couldn't at least take a till order once every 5 minutes, or at least apologize for the hold up. A few times now I've run into undertrained employees that don't know how to take orders with slight modifications or coupons, this is the fault of whoever is training them.

Overall the food is usually pretty good. When they do mess something up or if something doesn't seem fresh you can quickly get it exchanged.

Good, but a long wait (10 mins) for food. Understandable because it was quite busy, but still expected a bit faster.

Slow and shoddy.

I ordered two breakfast sandwiches and hashbrowns for takeout. Despite not being particularly busy, it took way too long, and then when I got home with my food, they had not put the sausage on one of the sandwiches - it's hardly a sausage, egg, and cheese McGriddle when they forget the sausage.

I wasn't expecting much (it's McDonald's, not fine dining) and was still disappointed.

Been there many times never really a problem just don't go there for ice cream it's always broken

Super slow service
I was in for just a coffee and it took 20 mins to take my small order and make 1 coffee and grab 1 muffin

Stood at the cashier desk for 5 minutes without being acknowledged or greeted. Completely ignored by everybody. Busy or not, an abysmal standard of customer service.

Why can't any of these employees get it right.never receive what I order.but the receipt is right.

I eat at this place on occasion but today's visit is pathetic. Do better when I actually take the time to make a larger order. Food is fresh but they literally threw the fries without care. What the heck? What a mess, my daughters would have been plenty annoyed.

Typical fast food. Parking is tough and tight. Drive through is always busy. Not very friendly staff. A daily free newspaper is available every day.that keeps me coming back.

Mega frustrated! I wasted 25 minutes and my order was still messed up!
Save your time and go to a different location!

After having trouble with the app not working I just gave up and went inside. No one in line, I waited at the til for almost 5 minutes before anyone noticed I was there. My order was processed and I was given the cup for my order to fill at the fountain, a typical mcdons action. But while waiting for my order about 8 other customers had come and gone while I still hadn't seen any sight of my food. (after working a 10hr shift I was starving!)

When I tried to ask a staff member about it she held her hand up and walked away! I tried to get her attention again, I wasn't being rude or anything but after waiting 15 minutes and having a lot of customers who came after me being served first. I was a little cheesed. I finally got her attention and she raised her voice with "your food is coming! ". Umm k, uncalled for seeing as I hadn't even said anything yet.

I finally got the food and left, I checked it after I'd already left to find out they gave me the wrong burger! After waiting 20 minutes this should have be the bloody best burger mcdons had ever created! NOPE, total let down after a long day.

(I will say tho there is an older woman that works in the drive thru and she is amazing! Great customer service and very attentive. I should have, in hind sight, just hit the drive thru)

Ordered at the machine inside when there was only 1 person ahead of me, and yet the entire drive-thru line and 3 people inside who ordered after me got their orders before me. I only ordered a breakfast sandwich and it took more than 15 minutes. Don't think I'll come back to this location. At least the sandwich was made right.

I just had to give the woman working at the drive thru a big thank you for being so efficient and friendly. I drove thru around 11: 30 a.m. May 27th 2022. I did tell her, but wanted to let her manager know.

Always dirty, horrible bathrooms, food is always messy or cold. I hate this McDonald's but sadly it's the only one close by.

Been not to bad the last 3 times ordering quarter lb blt they actualy looked close to their pictures they displayed but today back to slop today. It wasn't even busy

Worst McDonald's ever been too. I gave it alot of chances. Also it's funny there ice-cream machine never works, things are always missing from the order. Sorry but a monkey could do that job. Who ever runs that place needs to be fired.

Don’t go to this place if you’re in a rush they take FOREVER I came to this McDonald’s one day for my lunch and I get their and there’s like 10 other people standing around waiting to order waiting to get their food they are really slow and people are getting frustrated and leaving without food I wouldn’t waste your time, but hey Tim hortons is arcoss the parking lot

I've been in twice and twice they have messed up my order.

Update 2022/1/21. They are out of dipping sauces. They very generously gave me honey though. I agreed thinking it was honey mustard. Seriously hilarious, and I recommend anyone come here just for that experience lmao

Always get the order wrong food sits there once it’s complete then u get it in a bag no surprise it’s cold. Fries were not even half filled up lol list goes on and on

I ordered a side of mac sauce. Was charged for a side of mac sauce but did not receive my order of mac sauce. Its 2022 everything at McDonald's should have mac sauce on it. I shouldn't have to ask.

Messed up my order 4/5 times. Put me in a couple uncomfortable situations by the workers, the ordering machine wasn't working right and didn't accept my payment so I went up to the cashier to pay for my order but the machine printed out the wrong order. I tried to explain the situation to the worker, but the worker made a scene like it was my fault that the machine wasn't working right. Ordered a $4 latte got a regular coffee. Just a bit upsetting that I actually left a review for once and it had to be negative. The managers gotta do something about this.

If you like to gamble Friday mornings at this McDonald's is the place for you. No matter what you order, you never know what you will get, but the house always wins because something will be missing from the bag. I will miss the very friendly older First Nations lady who usually takes the orders, she is a delight.

Not sure if staff has been trained to be totally mechanical or they are not trained to use their due diligence as well. I ordered egg mcmuffin with only half slice of cheese. Reply was, "Sorry, we can't. " Upon asking, "why? What is so hard to cut slice in half and put it in the mcmuffin? " Reply was, "lemme check with someone! " After about a minute, reply was, "we will do it this time for you. " I left with impression as if they have done a huge favor to me.

This is one of the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Our order was as simple as can be and they still managed to mess it up! Also the order was delivered in three parts separately with more than two minutes apart each time. The cashier must have been really stressed out because of the constant yelling of the manager.

This location forgets items constantly and quite literally NEVER picks up their phone. I just called 10x, phone would ring until it hung up, tried to call back again, “this customer is not available; please try back later” - as someone who used to be a manager at a McDonald’s, we ALWAYS picked up the phone, even if it was a rush. How is anyone ever supposed to let you know you messed up if you won’t pick up the phone?

Ordered just a basic McDouble meal and I got the saddest burger I’ve ever seen. It only had 1 patty with ketchup and pickels, and not mention it looked like it had been left in the bottom of a trash can for a couple hours and heated up in a microwave.

HORRID service. I am always super nice to fast food/grocery/retail workers as I have been there and know how hard it can be. After some confusion of what I wanted at the order box, this lady decided it was a good idea to try to explain to me why what I said was wrong and how I need to fix how I said something. Every other McDonald's knows what a sausage mcgriddle with bacon means.seems pretty self explanatory. Instead she goes on for about 2 minutes explaining it and laughing at me when I was just trying to pay, I continued holding out my card and had to say "okay thanks, I'd just like to pay please" and she continued to laugh and take someone else's order. Once again I asked to pay and she just looked at me, laughed even harder and turned back to her coworkers. After I FINALLY paid and started driving away, she HAD to get the last word in and yell out to my car "HAVE A GREAT DAY" all the while she's still laughing. I am a pretty mild mannered person but it took a lot for me not to stop my car and jump out to go scream at her. I have NEVER been laughed at while trying to just get a sandwich.

Only has 2 tills inside and service was really slow even though there was lots of staff and few people inside. I felt they were only focused on the drive through.

Slow service and wrong order. When I called there was no answer. Management has changed a lot for McDonald’s around a world. I paid for a product that I never received.

The worst mcDonald’s ever. No clean, tables and floors often full of trash. No available napkins. Take out food don’t offer ketchup nor napkins must ask if you want it. Ice cream must be served in cups as they can’t hold on the ice cream cones.

This place is really awesome!
If I ever have an issue with the order the team tries there absolute best to make it right.

I haven't had a mistake order delivered to me yet. The parking lot is often busy but the staff are always friendly. Great service and quality as McDonald restaurants go.

Staff ignored everyone in line, for at least 5 minutes. Myself and the 2 people ahead of me walked out.

Horrible service, first they missed my order and I stood there waiting for over 15 minutes waiting as people went by. Then they messed it up both my coffee and my sandwich were wrong. They didn't have any selection of books or toys for the happy meal either.

If I could give half a star I would. The lady at the window was completely rude when I ordered a Cadbury creme egg mcflurry. Told me she had no idea what I was talking about. I told her it is on the menu and she asked me if I meant creme egg.when I got to the window she argued with me about the name of it yet again.then was snippy because I didn't tap my card before I told her what I was paying with. Have had a problem with the same lady before. Will never go back.

I went in there with no mask am 10 and the manger kicks me out the next day I go there and there is a kid older and he lets him order

They don't understand how coffee works. Be sure to have them confirm your coffee order. They tend to just make whatever they feel like.

This esstablishment is pretty decent. The one issue I have is whenever I ask for food to ve done fresh, they always give me the stuff under the heat lamp.

A small gripe but cold stale fries aren't what I pay for.

All of the regular fare, although I have been skunked on milk shakes here more than any other McDonald's location (?). Otherwise a great location, more like a small community Coffee Shop in feel, it can be busy at lunch time, especially the drive thru.

No service to speak of, line ups almost out the door and the drive through was congested- 3 employees making coffee, and no one at the till. Very bad experience, and it hasn't been the first time I've seen this at this restaurant, nearly every time i've attempted to go here, it's been the same.

I just stood in line for 10 minutes, and when I mentioned to a worker, who were all ignoring the line out the door, that we needed to be helped they said "yeah ok" and then continued to ignore the growing line. Go to a different location or Tim Hortons in the same plaza

Super friendly staff and got my order right which is alot more than you can say for a lot of fast food joints.

What can be said about McDonald's. Service in the drive thru is friendly and efficient. I had to wait for a special order and it was delivered to the car promptly.

Don't order a mocha or latte from this location ever. It always comes as literally warm milk. No flavor and extremely minimal coffee. No matter when I go it always comes out like this. If the machine doesn't work either fix it or don't let people order it. Id rather be turned down than receive what I keep getting. Waste of money and time.

It is the worse restaurant the worse MacDonald ever. I live right beside it and I order there two time every week. Guess what, not even once I can have the order right. Missing fries, missing drinks, missing burgers. Anything you can think in a order they can get wrong they made it. This time, great, the whole order was missing. I wait for 30 mins and what? Sorry, we missed your order.

The food was fresh, but the gentleman taking our order was less than helpful. Customer service lacking. Argued with customers over names of items instead of assisting.

Just went through the drive through paid doe 2 breakfast and disnt get all the food. Missing hashbrowns and called to let them know an was hung up on.

They messed up my pick up order. Then when I called no one answered the phone for over 5 minutes.

We ordered three Quarter pounder BLT meals, a $30 value.when we got home a 5 to 6min drive, the burgers were cold.they were not even warm enough to melt the cheese. Super dissapointed.

You know what you're going to get.
And most franchises are kept very clean.
Now if all the Victoria area McDs would do like the Sidney McD where you pit down a $1 deposit to get a TC to read. Return the paper and get your loonie back!

Most of the time the food looks like it was kicked into the bag. Also burgers are at Esquimalt location are soaked with grease, more so than other McDonald's.

Very busy McDonald's despite the 3 self serve machines. Far to often my orders get mixed up but it is McDonald's after all, not much difference from anywhere else you may go

The worst every time I go. Always mistakes on basic orders, and I hate having to go in to the store to get the order straightened out after going through the drive thru. Simple things like including a package of syrup when the only thing I order is hot cakes for my child. I would suggest ANY OTHER location. Seriously any other location.

Has become famous for missing items in the take out bag. 3rd time in a row today. Went in and blasted the manager - he was utterly befuddled. It all makes sense now.

Saw a young lady slip and fall, not one employee came to assist or look into her well being. Disgusting!

They always think all the orders are takeaways, they always put all your food into a paper bag, and they always put your fries bag upside-down, no matter how many times you complained! Definitely the worst Mcdonalds I have ever met! This is my first time to complain a store, I don't want, but I have to do it.

I used the drive thru. I ordered two cheese burgers and received two cheese burgers. That's all I wanted and my cheeseburger requirement was met for the day.

On Dec 14 around 7: 30 I ordered a basic big mac meal and a Junior Chicken with added thai sauce from this McDonalds. At 7: 52 I finally received my order having inquired twice about it. After opening my food and finding out that the Junior Chicken did not have thai sauce on it I brought it to the attention of the staff and they took the sandwich, added thai sauce and gave it back. This is a violation of McDonalds policy and food safe, as any food handed over the counter to a customer cannot be taken back, have changes made to it, and be presented to the customer again.

I will be following this review up with a message to the Canadian Institute of Food Safety as once my sandwich touched their table, anyone else who's food was made there contained any bacteria I had on my hands.

After asking for a fresh Junior Chicken the staff then went on to absolutely load the sandwich up with sauce to spite me. I ended up having to scrape most of it off in an attempt to enjoy the sandwich.

To top things off, my shoes were nice and sticky after leaving.

We were there last night! We live five minutes away! When we got home our food was ice cold and definatly not fresh!
