Large fries was a medium.
Not full. They have their loading area beside the order speaker and I happened to pull up during onebeung unloaded. It was so loud that it became annoying placing my order. And moved to the first window to complete my order. Even there the employees had to use a more loud viloive the hr should have and defended the idea that it was and idea of its location as stated that because of the cold freezer I. Rheback the tru k was unable to be turned to the off position to stop the engine. It was just my inner Karen coming out. Poor building design, lack of forethough!

Not a huge McDonald's good enough to grab a quick bite. For the first time in a very long while I actually had a warm quarter Pounder.it was excellent. Mind you it was around 1: 00PM

$22 for 2x mcrispy chicken and fries! Horrific.too much mayo and tiny lettuce.awful chicken.will NEVER go back to MC D again! Sorry guys quality of food has tanked! Feel totally ripped off!

Probably the worst McDonald’s on the island. I don’t think I’ve gotten food from this location a single time where they hadn’t forgotten a part of my order, or didn’t take 30 minutes just to make a small meal. Last time they forgot my chicken nuggets, then my fries, my drink was 80% ice, it’s just all in all pretty terrible service. Unfortunately it’s the closest one to me so I have to order from here if I’m desperate - but if there’s other locations nearby, go to those instead.

Please train your staff well and get it together! No one wants to wait over 20 minutes for a breakfast meal with 2 extra harshbrowns while hearing you yelling at your staff as to what each one should do and not do. Also, no one wants to hear the reply "I am not responsible for this" after inquiring about how much longer the wait will be. You guys should work as a team, and each one represents McDonald's as a company. When asking to speak to the manager, he just makes a face and turns around? How did you manage to be in your supervisor/management position when you can't even sufficiently train and run the restaurant?

This has got to be one of the most poorly run McDonald’s in the city. People just standing around D and mc’yammering.

Do not waste your time or money. These people have left garbage in the lot BESIDE the garbage bin.when there's a rat problem there! The food has made us sick and is always cold old and gross. Even theicecream is subpar, when they have it. I walked into the store once to be greeted by a messy cashier who obviously cared more about her phone & eyelashes to help me. Then I look at the manager.she was on her phone too. After they handed me some shriveled cold fries (that I returned) they reluctantly made some fresh ones for me. DONT DO IT. I WONT. EVER AGAIN.

Absolutely the worst mcdonalds I've been to in a long time, everyone running around like they are busy but nothing getting done. Waited 25 minuets for a mcdouble. They clear the screens so corporate doesn't know how long they actually take to make orders. Wasn't the only person that walked out without food. They are to busy serving everyone in drive-through before even making dine in orders. I suggest going to the food coart in the mall across the street, that's what me and the other 3 people that walked out did.

You never expect anything right at this location.
30'th July I got 3 fillet of fish meals, fillet was fried 3_4 times and it was disgusting and decided not to visit again.
Unfortunately again 5'th August I had to go to the same location for the same thing and the coffee that I received for the meal is just the hot water.

3rd time ordering a coffee that tastes like hot water. Must be reusing grounds. Never going back. Every other location is great.

Like HOW hard is it to make hot fries? Literally every time I get from fries from this location, it's stale. This location is really need in of some proper quality control.

Where do you go when you need a quick bite to eat? Something small, well McDonalds, but not here though. This McD is all about the fine dining experience. Takes about 25-30 minutes to get your burger grilled to perfection. Very poor customer service as well. Especially the night time.
Very poor service, rude staff and inaccurate orders. Be sure to check your order before you leave to avoid a return trip.

They are simply TOUCHING THE FOOD!

They said: We are too busy! And there was no one at the cashier.
I think that the management is to blame. All they care of is. MONEY, MONEY, and MONEY.

The absolute worst McDonald's in town. This place is a joke. They never open their doors in the mornings, they force you to download an app, order through the app and then they'll give it to you out a small window at the front door. While I was busy trying to download this app to obtain my coffee a senior man tried the locked doors. I explained to him they were only doing drive thru and if he wanted to be served he'd have to download the app. Well he didn't own a cellphone. He was forced to go into the drive thru and stand in front of thee cars and go to the drive thru window to get his coffee and the attention from staff. This could have been dangerous. They should open their doors! Also the staff here are soooooooooooooooo rude! Makes you want to never come back.

The weirdest little drive-thru I've ever seen at a McDonald's, food was hot and so fresh the lettuce was still crispy! Friendly staff as well!

Love when a place says it's drive through is open 24/7 and you pull up to check and it's got yellow creates blocking the drive through signaling it's closed. Either update your signs or stay open maybe?

I am standing here right now and i literally just saw the guy dropping petty on the floor and putting back in the fryer

You order on the app, it asks you to selct drive throu for pick-up, you drive there, surprise surprise, it s closed!

New ownership and the quality and service has really gone down hill. Food is not consistent. Drink's are watered down. The traffic at this location has greatly decreased I am assuming do to similar bad experiences since the ownership change.

Stood at the counter for 13 mins and no one even acknowledged my presence, never mind asking if I would like to order. I walked out empty handed. Lamest excuse for a restaurant I've ever seen.

The automatic door opener has been busted for months.

Fix it and I’ll update my rating.

Just ordered a med fry from here and it was like half full.probably equivalent to a small fry. I know potatoes are in short supply but W T F

The worst customer service from the employees. There are rude, mannerless, not friendly at all. What is the point of saying the drive-thru is open when it is actually closed. It says the curb-side pickup is open but the employees refuse to leave the store. The bell is there so they can assist the clients. The employees LITERALLY ignores the bell and ignores the fact that you are even there, the heights of rudeness. How do you serve customers all day when you do not have the basic etiquette for customer service? And to top it al, the food was cold and was missing half of the order.

Got some food after my test, and was pleasantly surprised how fast and delicious the food was. A warm coffee with a bacon egg McGriddle (no cheese). Will be returning when in the area:)

Had a bizarre drive thru encounter with the most rude employee ever here. He was mumbling unintelligibly through the intercom and when I politely clarified if it was ok to order he managed to mumble out "I don't care". Then when I got to the window he was equally rude and at one point even threw up a talk to the hand type gesture for whatever reason. It was so strange and I was afraid to eat the food because he seemed so disgruntled. Avoid!

Worst mcdonalds experience I've ever had. They were extremely slow, got to the window and the woman didn't look and me and never said a word the entire interaction. The food was cold and very poorly assembled. Will never return to this location. DONT GO HERE!

Can’t ever get your order right because they’re to focused on going so fast they rush themselves and can’t take simple instructions as well as come off as very rude. Terrible customer service training half the time they don’t even say a word to you just point a debit stick at you and close the window

Worst McDonald's in town! I have ordered a regular Cheeseburger with fries and what did i get? Fries with no ketchup and a cheeseburger that had only a patty and cheese covered in ketchup. No pickles or onion all on a crashed bun. Place is a dump!

Two cheese burgers picked up at drive through yesterday. Looked like they were retrieved from trash. Paper scrunched and stuffed into scrunched bag. As opposed to folded edges etc. Almost trashed them.

S+ Tier Mcdonalds, better than all the others. If you are a 40yr old predator on social media they will support you. Hudson is the best employee ever.

The worst McDonald's we've ever been to. We are in Victoria on vacation and just wanted a quick breakfast. While ordering the screen we were looking at was malfunctioning so we asked to confirm the order. The employee was extremely rude when responding. We had to pull up and wait, no big deal. The woman that brought it out was fine to begin with. We shared that the person taking our order was extremely rude and someone should talk to him. No big surprise our order was missing a muffin. We told her about the error in our order and she said we didn't order two muffins. We never received a receipt so couldn't prove it that way. She did give us the muffin in the end. The breakfast sandwich I'm sure was made using stale English muffins. Would not recommend this particular McDonald's.

Ok the average review is 2.8 for a reason… Ice cream - too soft / chicken McNuggets too cold and stale (same with fries) just not that good

Worst McDonalds ever. Never get your order right. Act like it’s your fault when they screw up. Don’t fix it when they mess up either. Don’t waste your time or money for real!

This place is louder than standing on the runway at YVR. People that visit here (not the drive through) are always hangry. I'm surprised how consistent the poor experience has been at this place. Go to the DQ beside it.

You should be absolutely embarrassed by some of your staff. The last 2 times I went through the drive 'thru' for coffee, the employees openly talked to eachother while the mic was down for the D/T. The one time, a female openly talked about how bad the McDonalds donuts are, and that she would never order them. The second time, the male was talking quite unprofessionally over the Mic with his co-worker. Now, because I worked late and just cant bring myself to cook, I decided to order take out from this location. The food in the bag was all loose, my fries and my burger were all over the bag. I have never had issues with any other McDonalds, JUST this Hillside location.

Terribly run mcd's.waited way to long in drive thru.they forgot a big Mac and while I was waiting for that, I had a fry and it was stone cold.took that back in and by the time that came, my cheeseburgers were cold.the consistency at this location is screwing things up.unacceptable.

I would give five stars if they had a better product! The staff at this location have always been super friendly and helpful. Moving the last week has pushed me to eat fast, convenient food and I happened to have a book of coupons. Can't beat the price when you're in a pinch or want to have a cheat day! I appreciate that extra friendly service. Thank you guys, I hope you keep up the good work!

Absolutely worst customer service. Ordered a Big Mac, for home and there legit looks like a bite has been taken out of the patty. I tried to talked to the manger but denied anything saying they do t do that kind of thing here. I’m in the customer service industry and the customer service we received from the manager Crilda was god awful. All she did was Denied everything.

Worst restaurant experience i ever had, night shift guys in the main board making the customers and skip drivers waiting for more than an hour not even listening to the calling bell.

Drive through is a bit tight. Small vehicles aren't an issue - large and long ones might find it a bit tough to maneuver.

The french fries at this place always taste bad.

If you love McDonald’s, then you should never come to this place, because this place will destroy your love.

I used to get my coffee here regularly. For a fast food place where it should always taste pretty much the same, I found it was inconsistent. Of late, it’s been watery tasting. I switched to a different McD’s and I’m back to being happy again.

I ordered a Vanilla Milkshake today and unfortunately it tasted like peppermint. And I really don't like peppermint.
Luckily my husband does.

The drive thru was incredibly busy but the speed at which all cars were served was absolutely top top notch!

I went to grab some early morning dons, they had the drive-thru closed and then straight up ignored me waiting at the front window. Horrendous service.

I found the service very poor. The manger I assume at the time to be very rude. Tact could be used.

The coffee is excellent. Amazing for a fast food if you know what I mean. Reasonable prices for a quick meal. I can smell that wonderful aroma of their coffee.

I was actually just turning around in their parking lot but I stopped to check my emails so I'll give them the star for consistently delivering a facsimile of a thing called fast food. There's a steady stream of Skip the Dishes drivers picking up food for people who are too drunk, high or lazy to just walk, bike, ride or drive to McDonald's themselves.

Alongside the pandora location is in fact not actually open 24/7. I don't know if this is just local mcdonald's but I find it rather annoying that they don't at least update their hours or take down their claim of being open 24 hours a day. Consistently closed anywhere from 1am to 3am until 6 or 7am most days.

I ordered a BLT Quarter Pounder, however the pickles and bacon was missing when I opened it at home. I called and the manager Simran was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back

Ordered a mcdouble and small water. Waited 20mins while other larger orders after mine were fulfilled along with 4 skip the dishes orders.not impressed. Not going back seemed unorganised and complete amateur hour chaos.

I spent a half hour standing in the lobby no one acknowledged me at all after the half hour I was told that the dine-in was closed so I was not able to place an order for a coffee but yet it was open for pickup for delivery I was then told that I needed to go through the drive-thru I am a pedestrian which I cannot walk through the drive-thru and the people were very rude not allowing me to speak or even acknowledge the fact that I had not seen the sign and the girl that was working there continue to talk about something about the provincial government and the covid which made no sense to me when I had been to that restaurant at 11: 00 at night before and had placed an order for a large coffee

Sometimes 24 hours, sometimes not. Can't depend on them for early morning breakfast. Go to the location at Cedar Hill and Shelbourne instead.

We waited ten minutes tonight in the parking lot for our relatively simple drive through order. A manager brought it out "thanks for waiting" and spoke directly into our open bag (mask on, thank christ, but still) reading out some of the items (how about checking inside the store before running it out, it is not like there was a line up?), get home and it is cold, missing a large fries and all squished. The whole family was disappointed, it is our once a month treat for the herd. Would like to say this was a one off but it ALWAYS happens here, tonight was just exceptionally bad. Made us A & W fans for life now!

Not my favorite location. Drive thru staff tend to land on the rude side but McDonald's is McDonald's y'all show up for the burgers regardless

If I could give 0 stars I would. I don't know why I ever think it's going to get better. The wait for the drive thru is always outrageous. Waited at the speaker box for 20 minutes without even an acknowledgement. Even when speaking into the box I got no answer. When I decided to pull forward to see if I could leave I found that there wasn't even anyone at the window. That's right. They were serving nobody in the drive thru and letting the lineup weave all the way around the parking lot for over a half hour.

I dont know how this consistently fails to live up to even the worst mcdonalds. I have never been to a McDonald's where the drive thru takes so long, and the orders are almost always wrong. I don't know if there isn't enough staff or what but there needs to be some serious changes in this store.

They told me to wait in the "pick up" parking stall as they were waiting for fries. 5 cars had gotten they're orders after me before I went inside to see my food sitting on the counter with the bag open, still with no fries. She handed it to me without any apology for obviously seeing me waiting in the parking stall for almost 10 minutes. If you're going to make a mistake, at least own up to it! Makes a huge difference on someone's outlook of the situation.

My friend and I had a great experience last night. We were late to arrive and our order had not gone through because of the time (though we thought it had and went to collect). The most lovely attendent, Idee, went the extra mile and got the food we had wanted, though she didn't have to because it was after hours. She was fantastic and I wanted to extend my appreciation for her and her manager. Thank you very much)

Good but always have to Waite when i come late night, even though the order is online, but very good staff, helpful staff, BUT i really want employee should speak English while working there, it feel uncomfortable while they keep taking in foreign language loudly.
