It's just getting so very expensive when the best thing used to be about McDonald's at one time is you actually could afford to eat out

Horrible place, horrible employees, need to put salt on fries. Always long waits for cold food or orange juice that’s supposed to be cold but is warm cause it’s been sitting for too long.get it together you lost a valuable customer.

More recent visit wasn't so pleasant. I did not know I had to specify how to do their job properly. If you're ordering chicken based burger. Don't be surprised if you receive a cold and dark brown chicken patty. I however was able to receive a fresh order. Hopefully they change their cooking procedures in the future.

I ordered the Quarter Pounder BLT (hamburger) meal through drive through and when I got home I discovered I was given a 'Counter special order' McCrispy Chicken sandwich. The fries and decaf we're right; two outta three ain't bad? ! Not sure price wise who came out ahead, but I like my chicken plain (not coated).

So tired of the non flavor of paper patties with all you can taste of ketchup mustard and a pickel. Went to Dairy Queen had a mushroom burger w cheese $3.99 and poutine $3.50 oh my I have been missing out for the taste of beef but found it at DQ. I WILL NEVER HAVE A MC ANYTHING EVER AGAIN.
BTW I was around when the first McDonald's opened in Prince Edward Island their burgers tasted like a burger and you couldn't hold them in one hand and tasted good, not ever going see that again. Bye McDonald's hello DQ.

I suppose in fairness, I very seldom eat anything other than breakfast sandwiches from McDonald's as I am not a huge fan of their food. So it is going to be hard for me to give the food a big number, but the part that alarmed me was the condition of the restaurant and the poor service.

We lost power at our house while I was roasting a chicken for dinner. After waiting for the power to come back on for a bit, it was decided we were going to have take-out of some sort. As I don't normally use the Sidney McDonald's I was very focused on finding the kiosk to get an order in and did not take a look around the restaurant. Once my order was placed and I was waiting I started to look around and realize the state of the restaurant. There was someone who looked to be the shift manager, but they were tied up on what looked to be a phone conversation on the headset so not in a position to offer any kind of service. Other than that one person there appeared to be nobody else in a position to help the front of the house. My bag of food was eventually put up on the counter and my number called. I had to ask for cups for my drinks. There were no napkins out, no little containers for ketchup, nobody to ask for ketchup packages and when it came to needing a drink tray I just reached over the counter to grab one myself.

Once I was this far into being dissatisfied with my experience, I stopped to look around the dinning area and was very surprised to see pretty well every table in the dinning area dirty. It was quite a shambles for a McDonald's as they are pretty regimented in keeping things clean.
In fairness I have no idea what staffing woes they may have been having that evening, but it did appear to be well below what McDonalds woukd want yo see from one of its franchises.

The smell.of rancid grease outside was overpowering. Inside was also foul smelling. Others in line commented as well

Food is too small but there is different items to try.
Plus place is very tide the staff tried really hard to Please the customers

This is a great place, customer service is excellent, I been coming In here for the last few weeks, always see the same workers, these guys who work and manage this McDonald's I give them it's always busy here and work hard to keep everything running smooth, great job guys

Process speed is normal. Employees are friendly. Parking lot is small and crowded. Only two spots available for online order. Food temperature is good, however the fries is too salty. Located on the corner of the street and the highway. Gas station and small shopping stores located at the same plaza.

Absolutely the worst service I've seen, completely unorganized and missing part of my order.

Low attention to detail and bad customer service. I watched my burger sit at the landing ramp where the food goes when it's ready then other ppl get derived their food before me. This happens all the time. I'm done going there. A tegional manager should go there and set them straight!

Went out for lunch, thought hey why not check out that "new" grand Big mac, not available, fine choose a quarter pounder with cheese, get to work open up the carton and there is a burger with 2 slices of cheese, no ketchup, no mustard, one pickle and a piece of onion, i could see on the bun were they condiment gun touched the bun but left nothing behind.this was not rush time as there was only 2 cars in the drive through and 3 patrons in store. Do better! I should have known something was going to happen as the ice cream machine was working.

Poor management, Toxic atmosphere, Rude attitudes and Bullies, Filthy washroom etc.

Drive Thru: 20 - 30 mins
Walk in Order: 30 - 40 mins
By the time you get your meal, it's either wrong or they serve cold, stale and unappetizing food.

ICE CREAM machine is always OUT OF ORDER!

To the managers: treat customers with dignity and respect. Also, train your ignorant staff to be more welcoming and do better!

To the owners: get rid of these managers and find better workers, they are horrible and they pretend to not speak English (they humiliate you in front of other members - how uncomfortable is that?). All they do is stand around and gossip. Worst part is they discriminate against large people.

I will not recommend this location - This McDonald's one fry short of a Happy Meal!

Didn't have poutine so they gave me large fries, but only filled it halfway, didn't have egg mcflurry so they gave me Oreo, even though it's more money kept it the same size and didn't even stir it. My burger was also wrong.

Typical McDonalds.with the exception of one arrogant young man who had the audacity to not give me a McChicken sauce until he rang up a bill for 10 cents on my credit card. If I was manager I would have fired him on the spot.

Wait times in the restaurant and drive through are extremely long. The staff are incapable of making simple substitutions to mobile orders when product runs out. Orders are usually incorrect. I’m not sure why I bother giving this restaurant more chances to improve, the Mt Newton location down the road is much better.

I'm not sure how long its been since I've ordered a Sunday, but they don't have nuts anymore!: (
I guess it's good for making sure anyone with an allergy is safe.

Understaffed location.

Amazing personel and service, only problem is that location is severely understaffed everyday. Today i stood 14 minutes if front of the cashier before my order was taken because they were overwhelmed.

Please management, take care of your employees this is a shame and it is definetely a management issue to solve.

I made the order with McDonald's app. McChicken sandwich and 6 nuggets $7.35 Total. The app was easy to use; discounts are easy to find. I will continue using the app, knowing my points expire in 6 months.

Coffee was not hot enough, chicken nuggets were not crispy enough, napkins should have been offered with takeout one of the fries did not seem fully fried - now @ Schartz Bay ferry terminal feeling a little disappointed.

Ordered large fries and Big Mac for take out. After waiting nearly 10 minutes, with only one other person in front of me, hot cold fries, a cold Quarter pounder, no napkins. Poor job.

Worst drive thru experience ever! The woman sighed while we ordered the fries not adding salt…
The woman at drive thru and the staff who pass us the meal were not nice.they don’t smile and they talk to you like you owe them debt…worst of it.they don’t say “thank you” to the customers! All your staff need to be trained!

Just Paid $18 for 2 meals. One was a lettuce wrapped quarter pounder (due to wheat allergy) and was literally just lettuce in the box. No beef, cheese, condiments.

Just, once I would like my whole order. I don't know the last time it happened. Wait for food in drive thru was extremely long (20 min, all we ordered was 2 meals &4 drinks) fries were cold when they finally came (only the one we got cause the other was not in the bag. And we were lucky enough to get 2 straws for all of our drinks. It's definitely gone downhill recently.

Last weekend was there with grandkids at drive thru that was so long it was into the gas station parking lot! Anyway ordered Egg McMuffin (I swear it has shrunk) stuck together like glue! Missing fries and no napkins.typical
The best thing McDonald's has going is the self serve center at Walmart at Uptown they just call your # when your order is ready!

The drive through cashier was rude and I asked for lettuce instead of a bun due to my allergy and when I got it all the burger toppings weren’t on the burger there was no cheese and the burger only had one piece of lettuce on it

Tried the BLT Quarter Pounder. It was messy and delicious, at least as much as McD's can be delicious. Far from gourmet, but fast cheap and reliable, as McDonald's should be.

This place is a scam, charging me $24 for 3 breakfast sandwiches and 2 coffees bahaha clown. I wouldn't pay that at Starbucks especially for McDonald's pig slop. I expect to speak with the manager as well and or police to see what type of scam is underway here.

Massive line ups both for drive thru service and take-out. Customers were getting angry at the staff because of the extended wait times, but there simply was not enough staff. Don't take it out on the people who did show up for work!

Their mcdouble is more expensive and are not the mcdub burgers that they use to be made here. Usually flat coke from the drive through, but you only learn that after merged into that whole 5 lane intersection and cant get back there quickly to get some satisfaction. I never go in the lobby it is a cramped almost forgotten idea when it was drawn up. The floor might as well slant into a corner to make you forget that you should not touch any surfaces. The fact that the cashier behind the counter barely gets any support the orders are usually handed in parts. This is not lazy employees to blame, but the management who dont have take the daily grudges from consumers. Not many smile to be shared it seems

I actually used to work at this location a few years back, the service lately has never been worse. Waiting 25 mins for a single hash brown and a hot chocolate not to mention today was my 4th time being handed a coffee after ordering tea or hot chocolate.

Person working the drive thru kept laughing and wasn't able to take our order properly or give us a total. She continued to laugh at the window when we got to the last window and almost forgot to take our payment. Very unprofessional.

Awful service, you wait every time - sometimes up to 20 minutes - orders are always wrong, takes them 10 minutes to fix your order. Seriously not worth it.

This McDonalds is easily the worst one on the island. Your better off to drive towards victoria and stop at the mcdonald’s at mount newton if you want a timely and correct order. How many times i’ve waited 15+ minutes for a order that’s messed up. How hard is it to make some pancakes or put a burger together right.
I hope corporate stops by and changes your management.

Ice cream machine always broken. Never have your order ready and you have to pull over and wait. Soooo disorganized. Rude staff.

The lady that takes your order and payment in the mornings is shockingly rude. Don’t dare ask a question as she will be make you feel like you should have studied the menu before arriving. It’s as if she is trying to get fired.

I was on my way to the ferry terminal. Requested a $20 gift card. The guy asked for assistance how to do it. The lady said collect payment and then swipe it. I asked at the next window to check if there was $20 on it and noticed I was given a dirty used McDonald’s gift card and asked for it to be switched as it was a gift. It did have $20 on it but.they couldn’t exchange it for a brand new one, but asked me to pull over ahead and they would clean the used card. I said I had a ferry to get to, and would leave a review. Rant: why would they reuse a well used dirty gift card during covid times. Is this the new norm?

Always a bit scruffy interior and staff service not consistent. Standard McDonald's food selections. Drive thru. No children's area.

The drive through order taker Saturday May 29th at 5: 20 pm was very rude, matter of fact and did not actually listen to my order. Won’t go again and verrrrrry slow.

Don’t ever go here. Took 23 minutes to get our food. They didn’t want to rectify it either. I had to push in order to be compensated. Heard lots of other complaints from regulars that this is normal here.

I waited in line and they didn't acknowledge me. Then they helped the guy behind me first and they chatted about personal stuff. I kept waiting and tried to speak. But they weren't paying attention. Perhaps ur staff can socialize off shift. Thanks!

Asked for a breakfast burrito this morning wish Mac sauce they said you can’t do that and then I just asked for Mac sauce on the side. It’s ok I thought until I got a bag with no burrito just Mac sauce. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend this establishment. Have never had a good experience and it’s just safer to say hit the next one on the road it’s only 5 mins

Usually bad service, missing items. Went in today and stood in line, waited 10 minutes for someone to take my order. After 10 minutes of not 1 person coming out front and I left. Probably better I went without lunch

A quarter pounder sucked and costed over $7 for just a burger price gouging should of went to a reasturant.

A cozy cafe at the YYJ Flying club.it serves flyers and friends. Tasty basic food at really good prices. Freindly service and good baking

Would give you a 0 if possible, shame on you for serving and allowing customers without masks into the restaurant while masks are MANDATORY! I am sure all three that came in together did not have valid reasons for not wearing masks. You put your other, rule following customers at risk. I knw it's hard but do your job.

Drive through was closed the counter area i was unable to socially distance. The fries were old and they didn't ad any salt and pepper to my order. 13.00 dollars for a stale bun chicken bacon burger last time McDonald's I will ever buy any food from you at any outlet.

Cold coffee. Warm milkshake. Refunded for missing salad out of stock. Overall not the best experience, but they were a bit busy at the time.

All in all: it's McDonalds. I was impressed with how quickly they were plowing through orders today.

Service was ok, but they had nothing in stock! Everything we tried to order they didn't have in stock.

Picked up some breakfast on the way to the ferry. Burst yogurt in the bag, missing hash browns from the order, no napkins, no straws and no syrup for pancakes. Not cool.

Horrible service. It doesn't take 25 minutes to make an English muffin. Why are there only 2 people working in the entire store on a Saturday morning. The store front is always filthy.

Don’t go to MacDonalds after 6: 00 pm. Cheeseburger buns were dried out. The contents limp & tasteless. The coffee was barely warm. The staff were fun & friendly.

This McDonald's is always a consistent experience. The poutine is made well and they are friendly.

This morning I witnessed the manager (I think the manager?) deal beautifully with an unreasonable customer. She was firm and polite (and very much in the right).

My experience at this restaurant was good. It was a clean resistant.

Good was average of what you would expect from a McDonald's. Bathrooms were a bit messy but I saw the log that it had been cleaned recently.

Every mikki D's is different. Some never get the order right.others remember how you like your coffee and burger.find your favorite.and let them know ther are appreciated

Ordered a BLT and they used them nasty pre-frozen bacon bits instead of real bacon as advertised. Fries were stale, customer service was not very welcoming.

Efficient service as expected. Food quality was lacking as our entire order of hash browns were all raw and inedible.

This McDonald's has friendly efficient staff. Some who have been there for several years so they perform efficiently and well. The products are always hot and delicious. My family enjoys stopping here.

My low rating is more so to an individual who management seems to place up front at the till to greet and take our orders. His peers refer to him as Andre, his mannerism and demeanour are not welcoming nor does it fit the cheerful and happy place McDonald's has instilled in their brand for decades. Basically he's rude!

Very bad service the drive-thru was horrible I ordered to Junior chicken and a root beer I got my drink and it still took another 25 minutes to get to Junior chicken and a happy park over on the site and the people that were working the windows were too busy talking to one another one lady who was ahead of me ask for a refund and she drove off
