5$ for a McFlurry I can't even eat!
I have a gluten allergy and I only get the McFlurry because they stir it with the spoon you eat with so it's never going to have stuff from other orders with gluten, but because they decided to use wooden spoons without even asking they mix it with the same stupid mixer, and the employee who gave it to me said that he thinks they wash it every time and then also said that he's never done it or seen it been done, and doesn't do anything to get me replacement or even confirm whether or not it was washed which we all know they aren't going to wash a plastic spoon in between every Mcflurry they make. Garbage employees. I want my money back! Waste my time to drive out there and order food to not even get something EDIBLE.

Cleanest property I've seen.only 4 stars as had iced coffee only, good but too much ice.

Food was pretty good, but the service was okay, workers didn't seem thrilled to even be working.

I just wish their play place got updated so it was more enjoyable for my little one. I love taking my daughter here for a little date lunch.

The donuts taste quite gross, and I would not recommend them. They taste to me like a child made them in an easy back oven

Drive thru is only open during the day yet it's advertised as 24hrs, order is wrong 90% of the time, possibly due to the language barrier, the people working there don't seem to enjoy their jobs so I don't expect much effort from them

Today i got a poutine with no gravy and no nugget sauce with nuggets:) orders constantly wrong why am i paying so much extra for no quality control and always missing items. Like no gravy makes no sense… also store phone doesn’t answer

Terrible Mcdonalds location. Had to repeat our order 3 times and they still got the order wrong.

Not actually 24 hours. They will mess with your food too, Like wipe grease on the buns or mush the pickles. Poorly managed so expect long, long, long wait times to get your food.

Food is cheap and decent quality, nothing to complain about there. The problem is they literally ALWAYS have the AC blasting even when it is cold out. It is literally unbearable to sit in there unless you have a jacket on. How has no one else mentioned this before?

Everytime I come here through the druvethru, we get sent to the parking lot to wait, even if it's for 2 drinks, and they constantly screw up our orders!

Hands down the best McDonalds on the island. Super fast even when the drive thru is nearly backed out the parking lot. Orders are always complete and made with care. Nearly everytime my fries are hot and the burger isn't falling apart or look slapped together!

Messed up our order of two burgers and 1 large fries, forgot the fries and then made us show them the bag to prove that they had forgotten the fries.

Git in line up for some milkshakes.didnt move for 15 min.but i had room ti reverse and escape! Went to co-op and got slurpees. Cheaper and better. Took to the beach a bkock away and enjiyed. Was 37 degrees out!

Where to begin. First of all at 730am their drive-thru was blocked off so i had to go inside. I ordered at a kiosk because the people standing at the counter to pay were being ignored. Then my number got cleared off the screen before it was ready i assume to meet a time quota. Then i continued to stand there for another 5 mins until i said something to the manager. The manager then says the older lady working there was calling my number out the entire time. Which was a lie. I had been standing right at the counter and i'm not deaf. The older lady also said she had with a snarky tone. Because I was annoyed. Keep in mind there are other people still not being served behind me. Finally get my order in a to go bag when it was to dine in and its luke warm. This was probably one of the most useless McDonald's i've been to. Along with Brooks Alberta. I wouldn't recommend either place.

Ordered extra pickles, got 1 pickle ordered large fries.got not even half the box. Double check your order when ordering from here.

Not bad as far as McDonald's goes, but they definitely have off days from time to time. Food seems to be best just before lunch.

We order ordered two BLT quarter pounder meals and got two L meals. If you don't have the Bacon or Tomato. Don't sell the meals.

We ordered at the drive thru for our family well passing throw. One full meal was missing, we had done a count and my husband when in and got the missing meal. When we pulled out the other food all were wrong. Our order was a bacon crispy chicken ranch wrap meal. A big mac meal with extra pickles.there were no extra pickles no sticker stating made just for you. Blt quarter pounder meal there was not blt. A maple bacon quarter pounder was also just a quarter pounder.we were heading to the ferry so were unable to return to get what we order. When i called to complain that day they weren't answering their phone.called two days later and I was laughed at. I wish i could leave negative stars.if you want to be ripped off I then say this McDonald's is a must.

Extremely slow service at the Drive thru. Parks you nearly every time, even small orders. Was told to park anywhere in the parking lot. Had a look around and find they are parking everyone. I thought the Drive thru would quick but waiting 13 mins for a small order is so not worth it! Save your gas and time! Order accuracy is not very good either.

I love the ordering station! Very user friendly and it has options to add or remove items from anything you order.
We received our order quickly, even though it was busy in the restaurant and drive through.
I love the new lattes and the fact you can order sugar free syrup, a choice Tim Hortons does not offer.
Also, another welcome menu feature - bacon, egg and cheese bagel breakfast, very delicious

Consistently in the drive thru orders are wrong, and coffee has no sugar. They seen to be more focused on pumping orders through than completing the correct order. There

The staff was friendly, drive through was clean.
Not 5 stars because whenever you order more than 2 bagels it takes a good bit due to bagel toaster I'm told. Then one big glob in middle of the bagel, meaning lots of cream cheese in some spots and none in others, which is only harder to eat when bagel isn't cut in half, which they stopped doing, I'm not even sure when.

Unapologetic manager justifying why it took 15 minutes to make 6 ice coffees during summertime. People want cold drinks in the summer? No really?

ALWAYS have to pull into parking lot to wait for food! Even if it's JUST A DRINK! Drive through moves fast, but the 10 MINUTE WAIT is horrible! Inside, it's just chaos and more waiting

Very poor experience. They say the drive thru is open 24 hrs. That's false advertising. I worked a long day and wanted something to eat and they were closed. I suggest you take down your open 24 hr sign cause its not true

As far as MacDonald's go this is as good as they get. Super clean place well managed, quick service probably best fast food place in Parksville

Great fast service for our group of 6 people and visitors from Los angels wanted to try Canadian McDonald's.

Going on a trip early morning, signs say open 24hrs we pull up at almost 4 am and drive thru is closed and we couldnt get coffee or anything for the trip. Other than that never had a problem here.

The manager on Sept 3 at 9am was fantastic. We didn't even have an issue, he was just a delight. Thank you!

There was hair in the food and the bathrooms where a mess and then the didn’t do anything. Don’t come to McDonald’s.

One of the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to! I asked for fresh food I didn’t t mind waiting they came out in 3 minutes said it was fresh when I got home the fries are cold brown, no napkins, no straws.very bad customer service as well! Rather drive to Nanaimo McDonald’s then get sick from eating here!

Staff nice. Informed me when playground closed. It closes at 4 which is strange but it does. Cute playground. Best suited for younger kids though.

Perfectly serviceable McDonald's. We had good, efficient service and our very easy order was fulfilled promptly enough.

Sign said Closed for maintenance at 11pm. But we were there at 10: 30. Doors locked. Closed. Disappointed!

This place is always busy. They keep it fairly clean and the table service around lunch hours is really good

It's what you expect. Cheap prices for cheap food. I pick this for when I have cravings for something quick and cheap and salty.

They messed up my god damn snack wrap order.how hard is it to not add ranch like it takes more effort to mess up my order than to just get it right.the manager is really dumb as well.

To much of a line up in the drive thru and in store this is a super busy location just off the parkway in North Nanaimo. Be prepared to wait.other than the wait time it's basic McDonald's just the same all others.

I love mcdicks breakfast thick and creamy eggs and cheese and sausage on a muffin and a triple triple good to go for my dad driving truck

The parksville mcdonalds is one of Vancouver islands best. We've always had a good meal / experience at this mcdonalds. We'd recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Best McD's in BC hands down. Fast service and super clean. Very modern and beautifully landscaped to top it all off! Can't help but notice how much care the owners and management put into running this location!

They are doing the french fry scam on customers. They squeeze the fry container more flat, then pour in some fries. This allows them to give you less product for the price you paid.

Went through the drive through and ordered a quarter pounder with cheese meal with a coke, got home in Qualicum and there was no top bun on the burger and they gave me a Diet Coke.wondering if I got someone else’s order

N This MacDonalds for some reason gets our orders wrong most of the time. This time we cheaked our food in the drive through waiting area. Yes it was wrong again. We ordered two Carolina burgers and fries to go, on 1/4 pounder buns. Checking the order. There is no onions on the Carolina burgers. Took them back in the store to get the order corrected. They brought the fixed order back out to our waiting vehicle. Wrong again. NO ONIONS AGAIN. This time the superviser takes our order back in the store to get it right. She comes back out for the third time and finally she got the right order to us and was kind enough to give us two apple pies for our inconveniences. I actually didnt want to go to Macdonalds in Parksville because I have had so many orders no right, by the time i am home, I have not wanted to come back to complain. My partner said no they wont get it wrong this time. So we went. They got it wrong again. Not sure why this location is so consistent at NOT getting the orders right. It is all automated system. It can't get much simpler. Maybe haven your employees take alittle more time to read the orders and get them right would help a whole lot. Thankyou

Every time I go through the drive thru I get parked. I’d get it if I ordered something complicated or it was a big order, but it wasn’t.

Food missing on my order.went back through and the kid at the window and some guy with blondish hair and a blue shirt called me a liar but wouldn't actually say it to me. The blue shirt talked like I wasn't even there. Tried to get his attention and he wouldn't even look at me.

Dirty tables everywhere. It's a complete turn off and disrespect to cuatomers. I don't mind that people dont dispose of their garbage. If they did, the tables would never get wiped. No reason for dirty tables at all, other than poor management.

Have to clarify order at each window to ensure you get what you ask for. All day breakfast is only for what they want to make and not the whole menu.
