Made a whole line of cars wait 30 minutes and half drove off manager helping stood there doing nothing absolute disregard for customers waisted alot of time and gas for no reason yet AGAIN

I went there 2 times in the past and then I gave up and always went farther to other McDonald locations, because the wait time was simply too long. I feel it is true that this is the WORST McDonald. Looking at other reviews, it seems the service didn’t improve over the past years. I will keep skipping this place.

It's McDonald's. Personally I don't really like McDonald's but this one is top notch. Service always good even at night I often am driving home late and this is the best place for dinner and it may taste strange but the staff are always super nice. They get it right the first time and are very helpful in ordering. Great establishment will come again.

Quality of service and food was A1 as always from the McDonald’s crew. But the trash bin was something of note. IT WAS OVERFLOWING ALL OVER THE PLACE BLEH!

They definitely abuse the drive through parking system here. No matter how small my order is at the drive through, they ALWAYS make me park and wait. Even when NO ONE is behind me? Last time I waited there 15 minutes for two little items and I could see in my rearview mirror that they then go on to sever like 5 others with big orders behind me before I even get mine. I was in a hurry! What happened to first come first serve? ! That parking system should only be used when it’s busy and people are in the way with a large order. Not a small one!

They are charging for their bags now and if you say no they will literally hand you the burger. Only in Port Moody apparently since it is bylaw. Saving the world unless you pay for bag, if you pay don't worry about the world.

Oh by the way, it makes zero sense to cut corners via "paper" bags since McDonalds itself is a huge contributor to carbon foot print in the first place.

No offense to staff there and I know it won't make any difference to management but I won't be coming back. Thanks.

This is a place I visit at least once a week.
French fries are always warm, crispy, and delicious.
The staff are also friendly and nice.
It's a very nice place.

Always stop by here for drive-thru. Great and speedy service. They always get my coffee order correct.

This store has the worst order accuracy and the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in any McDonald’s restaurants.

Employers are alway speak loudly too much talk with other employer. They let teenagers dance, play music loudly without any notice. Recommand only using drivethru.

Absolutely horrible experience in the drive-thru and then with rude management inside and I am still waiting months later for head office to contact me for damaging my car after 2 subsequent trips there and a phone call. Unacceptable.

I would vote this location Mc the worst. Very bad attitude from the manager/supervisor (the darker skin dude). Wouldn't give me napkin or ketchup and when ask he got the f u look. The medium fries was less than kids size. I ask for honey and mustard for my nugget and he give me the same f u look and just give me mustard. Please go visit this place and you will experience this attitude.

It's called fast food for a reason. All my orders been drive-thru. Pretty quick prepared orders. Staff are usually friendly & polite. However today, a burnt apple pie. Oh well. Another drive-thru visit today, a missing Big-Mac burger from my order. Should have checked before driving off. Rating lowered.

Really appreciate how clean it is inside. All tables had just been wiped when I walked in making me comfortable to sit in. The floors were just moped aswell and the condiment stand and garbage clear. My meal was also great. Really hot fries and warm burger. I got the crispy chicken deluxe meal. The till person at the front was nice, had a smile and a good attitude. I appreciate all these things amounting to a great visit!

Customer service is pretty bad and the staff are very rude. The coffee frap tasted like compost and they keep getting the orders wrong.

McDonalds charges for bags. A&W does not. McDonalds claims city bylaw obligates. 25 cents for paper food bag. The city bylaw is. 25 for a "shopping bag. " So. 1) pay up 2) pick your food off a tray through the drivethrough window and pack into your own bag (food hygene? 3) food dumped in your purse or dropped on the ground. It's a money-grab. Common Sense? Customer Service?

Literally the worst McDonald’s ever. I have been to this location exactly 2 times in my life and both times have been ridiculous. It’s like they put out an add asking for the dumbest kids in Port Moody to apply.

I like their burgers with double cheese. I love the ice cream. My favourite one is chocolate fudge.why do I love this location? I want to say that the costumer services they offer are quite good.

After eating half of the fries, i’ve found multiple hairs inside the box. I only order fries since i’ve seen the low review scores and the food here is disgusting. Very low quality, petty are always cold and dry. Never ordering from here again. Worst

Below par as McDonald's go. Slow service and all garbage cans spilling over, most likely due to being understaffed.

LAST SUNDAY, I PULLED THROUGH DRIVE-THRU AND ORDERED MCCHICKEN MEAL. RESTAURANT IS SMALL BUT STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMMED ME WITH A SMILE EVEN THOUGH AA LOOKED TIRED. EXCELLENT SERVICE AND DEFINITELY 5/5 SERVICE.

Pretty standard McDonald's food. We were here recently, dining in, and the music was just way too loud.

We are a large family and ordered quite a bit food. Food was so-so but the fries were fresh. Our drinks were completely diluted. We might as well be drinking carbonated water. We asked for new drinks. The employee went to ask her manager and she refused to give us new drinks. We will never come to this McDonalds again. Really bad customer service.

Always had odd experience at this McD location. Staffs are not as professional as the Coquitlam Barnett location. Just a bit more effort, this place would have much better ratings.

Ordered 4 Cokes and all were super watered down. Complained and was told that's just the way they taste now. No exchange.

Better experience today the other times we went there. We had to park even though there was no one else in line. It took a little while to wait for the food. The car beside us was a little loud and it was late. They ran out of nuts for the Sunday so it wasn’t as good as other times. My daughter was sad they the kids meal was served in a regular bag not the box but she loved the toy. It was our first time trying the Poutine which was hot and tasty the McDouble was a little cold but mot messy like other times. The staff were friendly. We will go back again next time.

We always have issues at the drive thru. Invest in a new drive thru menu board so we can see you took our order correctly. It’ll solve a lot of your issues.

Three strikes:
1. Impossible to navigate into their "parked" spaces when they're behind and waiting on something, because they are positioned poorly.
2. No sauce with nuggets.
3. Nuggets also somehow stale. I was parked to wait on fries, but given nuggets that are outside their discard time? Come on, guys.

Drive through usually empty but service is slow af. Any time I've gone it seems like there's only ever like, 2 people working there. Maybe 3. Very odd.
Still less risky to go there in a hurry compared to the next closest McDonald's which is on Barnet.

I’ve had tons of issues with this location in the past, but Vetinia* does an amazing job of starting my morning off with quick service and a smile!

Slow, I could write a book and get it published before I get my entire order. Used to be better around November and previously, since then terribly slow.

Small standalone outlet. Not a lot of seating and no self order kiosk yet (as of Jan 2021), but easy drive-through for in vehicle orders.

I have been to McDonald's in over 12 different countries and have definalty found this Port moody location to be the worst.

Port moody McDonald's ran OUT of fries on a Friday night. I've never had a McDonald's make you wait in drive thru for over 15 mins for a bit mac meal with no cars in front of you.a jr chicken takes 6 mins with no traffic

What can I say? Garbage management, slow service, no clean seating inside. With so many workers, how is this an issue?

Today Dec 21st 2020 they went above and beyond and made our family hashbrowns when they didn't have any cooked.

It brought huge smiles to all our faces and we truly appreciate their effort!

Yet another bad McDonalds location. Orders are constantly missing items when I order delivery. Why seal the bag with a checked for accuracy sticker if you don’t check? There’s also a certain drive-thru staff member who has just an awful attitude. Tried to charge me for two coffees when I ordered one and then expected me to buy the second one anyways because, “well, it’s already made. ”

I’m not sure if it’s management, uninterested young workers, or if I’m just the unlucky one that catches all the screw ups, but this location needs to figure it out. Almost on par with the Austin Ave McDonalds.

Went through drive through.ordered breakfast burritos and chicken nuggets.offered no condiments and gave none.who doesn't want sauce with chicken nuggets.what a waste.

Inconsistent quality. Drive through is slow as hell (has two windows but only one open in the AM rush). Understaffed.

I ignored their terrible coffee for 3 times in a row.but this time I promised myself to give them 1 star. I don't know how they make their coffee. Always taste old and terrible and not warm enough. I really lost my apatite due to their bad coffee.

Slow drive through. Slow workers. Ordered off of Uber Eats three times from here, first two times, my drink was the wrong size. The last time I ordered, which was yesterday, my Double Quarter Pounder had only 1 patty, my fries were soggy and my Coke Zero was Club Soda.

DO NOT ORDER HERE. There is a McDonalds just east of this location on Barnet. Also, one on North Road. These are worth the couple minute extra drive.

One of the worst locations in Vancouver. I go here frequently and they always seem to run out of coke and sub in diet without telling you. This has been happening for years, sent complaints to head office, obviously the message isn’t getting across.

The McDonald's on St John in Port Moody needs some help. We arrived around 8: 42pm on a Saturday night. The lights for their sign and awning were off we almost missed it. Thought maybe they were closed but we did see some staff loading up their container truck with supplies. We waited at the menu board at the drive thru and seriously thought they were closed since nobody took our order close to 3 minutes. But we did see a car in front of us so we just assumed that they were opened. Finally somebody helped us and took our order. We then waited about 8 minutes for the food and it was simply a cheeseburger with added mayo and a medium fries. The staff working inside were not in their uniforms from what it looked like and they also were not wearing gloves or masks while servicing the food. I don't feel safe coming here again. The only redeeming part about it was the fries were hot and fresh and well seasoned

This location routinely makes mistakes and is slow. The staff are poorly-trained and focused on themselves, not the customer.

Ordered 20 nuggets, 2 fry, 1 sprite to share with my partner. Got there, discovered my sprite was just water. Thanks guys. Ffs.

This location is a joke. The management needs to figure out how to properly staff their franchise. Countless times I have come to this location the lobby has been locked. They claim to he under staffed and can't serve both drive through and lobby orders. It's Mc Donalds. Figure it out you incompetent waste.

Placed an order through a drive-through and just when I got home to check that my order had everything there was a missing large fries and napkins. This is not the first time I’ve experienced this before in this location horrible location!

This is the worst location and the entire staff should be replaced because no matter what something is always wrong with your order. Tonight I recieved 3 double cheeseburgers that looked like they had been smashed together and with the buns crooked so I couldn't even fix them because of the cheese.

If I didnt live so close I would avoid this location at all costs.

I can't believe I am wasting more of my time writing a review for this McDonald's location. Finally had enough of the horrible service, poor food quality and wrong orders that I had to say something. Contacted McDonalds Canada customer service to complain and was asked which location I was dealing with. Gave that information and have never heard from them again. It's obvious that there is nothing they can do as the quality of applicants is bottom of the barrel. What happened to the days when having McDonalds on your resume was a good thing due to training, expertise in customer service etc?

Really slow service. The terrible manager that used to work at the burquitlam location now works here. Sat in the drive through line for about 20 minutes.

Certainly a McDonald's! It was clean and the design is actually cuter than usual.
Nothing unexpected and exactly everything you know in this extra small location.

I have given them two, well they serve food and coffee, even if coffee is lousy as much as service is, still the deserve some credit
