If you are into long walks along the beach this is your beach. Well depending on how long of a walk eventually this beach does end.

So peaceful! Most people love beaches on hot, sunny days, but they can be just as beautiful on foggy, cool days!
Easy parking on the street today. The beach was mostly deserted, all the better for me! I grabbed a Silk Road Tea from The Boathouse restaurant at the entrance, and walked down for some quiet time! Tons of beautiful driftwood to sit on, and just escape from the everyday chaos!

We found this beach while returning from Victoria and we loved spending 30 minutes while enjoying the sun and a short stroll. The place was less crowded and was full of logs to sit on.

This is a small but truly beautiful park overlooking Haro Strait with San Juan Island about two kilometres away across the strait. You can relax on the lawn and enjoy the view, or take a stroll on the beach. The Beach House Restaurant is close by so you can enjoy the view over a meal or cup of coffee.
