McSpadden Park

Took children out to the playground but there was someone doing drugs on the slide, so we ended up relocating.

This park is so mid. A lack of park and picnic benches, a lack a tree cover, and a lack of biodiverse beauty areas. Would be much better if it had bushes along the fence blocking sound from the road. This park would be great for dogs or for frisbee but my complaints wouldn’t affect those pros it already has. I come here often because it’s close to the drive but it has so much more potential.

Not too much to do here, just a soccer field, but many people bring their dogs to run around and play!

Best park in the area. Lots of kids, dogs and families playing around. Great tennis courts too!

A flat and grassy park with lots of shady trees and benches. Plenty of spots for people to sit and picnic. There’s a children’s playground, community garden, and tennis courts nearby. There’s even a “Little Free Pantry” where neighbours can leave canned goods for others who may be having food insecurity. The free pantry movement is a grassroots, crowdsourced solution, like a local food bank. There’s a local fair in September that’s fun for local families.
