I have had a few procedures here over the past year and every single one of my services (VolumaLift, Lip Filler, HydraFacial, Venus Viva) have been nothing shy of exceptional. Dr. Banks, Tina, Laura, Sage, Sabrina, Jade - just to name a few - are extremely knowledgeable, courteous and honest. They take their time with you, to provide their honest opinions and are very detailed and thorough not only with their treatments but from start to finish - from booking, to the do's and don'ts, the post care, and follow-up's everything! I would not go anywhere else after visiting MD - this clinic is top-notch, and i trust them without a doubt!

If I could give no stars I would. I went here based on their website reviews and video. I had a bridge removed after being in my mouth many years following a car accident. Having my remaining teeth pulled under the bridge left the front on my mouth and lips especially the top much thinner. I have always had full lips. As a woman this was devastating as it changed my appearance of my mouth and smile dramatically as my gum receded. So based on all the advertising of their site.thinking this would be the place to go I ended up spending $1,000.to have lip filler put in. I had a long conversation before hand.had shown a picture of my lips prior to my having teeth extracted.and made clear what I wanted, What my expectation was.and asked if it could be done. (restoring the fullness close to what I had). So having been told yes I went ahead. I was very swollen coming out. This I was told was normal. I went back for follow up after all the swelling went down. My lip was uneven and was not at all close to what my lips were naturally. So he put a few more injections in and said anything after this and its an extra 500.00. Even after this second injection my lips were the same. Uneven with bumps and not full looking. Not even close.there was barely any change at all in fullness There was no way I was going to give them $500.00 More to do what should have been done right and what I paid $1,000 already for. I found out that he injected a low amount of the actual filler that is mixed with a solution.instead of an amount that would of increased actual lip size more.and was what I was paying $1,000 for.what I asked, was told, agreed to and expected to have done. I understand they save product this was and make more money giving you less actual filler. On top of this wanting you to pay more coming back. Please don't go by adds. I have learned the hard was that Don't go by some web sites glowing advertisement. Go by a friend or someone you or they know who has had lip fillers and you can see and like the results and how they were treated. For me this was a waste of a huge amount of money that I had to save for.only to be extremely disappointed left with bumpy uneven lips and feeling I was taken advantage of. It was my experience that this is a business based purely off making as much money as they can off you as their priority and objective.based on our insecurities.

Went to MD Esthetics super excited for the first time to get some face derma fillers in October 2021. They promised that the effect will last a year and sometimes up to 2 years with a visit to touch up in a year for which i book my appointment. By February 2022, there was absolutely no signs of the fillers, they have dissolved and vanished at an incredible speed and honestly for that amount of money spent, not worth it (almost $3500).
Very disappointed.
The staff was nice and very helpful though.

This service is only available to people who are more or less skinny, with a bit of pudge they want to get rid of.
The website should list the maximum body weight aloud, for people to get this service.
If you are any bigger than the 'before and after' pictures on their website, don't bother going.

I have had many very successful treatments over a few years at MD Esthetics including various types of facial laser treatments, filler to improve facial shape and Botox to firm up around eyes and forehead. I have been really impressed with results that have helped me to feel more attractive and confident. Dr. Banks is very talented and so kind and gentle during the treatments. The nursing staff too are quite exceptional as are the lovely receptionists. I would highly recommend MD Esthetics.

You can feel confident that you will get the best possible treatment in a warm and friendly environment.

I like how Im told every step of the way. Sometimes less painful than other times. The things we do to look good. I didn't realize my face was going to look as though someone had butt out their cigarettes on it. I realize that will subside. Glad we're wearing masks.

Customer service seems great but I have to reduce stars due to the $100 consultation fee. Just a bummer and seems like a money grab and a bit deceptive if all you want to do is come for the treatment and have no idea what the charge will be until you get there. I understand time is money but if I don't want a consult and to just get the treatment there's no option for me and my time to drive over and be there to possibly find out their prices are too steep isn't really considered. I'm sure they make a lot of money as it is so for them it's fine to continue to charge the $100 consultation fee but personally I wouldn't recommend them to anyone just based on that being a policy. But maybe the more cash sensitive customer who would appreciate an idea on pricing is not necessarily the target market.

UPDATE: In response to the reply below I would simply like to say that I respect the reasoning just that the idea that a customer may not have the extra cash to afford the services based on the consult is the issue. Maybe if there was a policy in place that the customer should not be asked to pay the $100 fee if they realize they can't afford the service after they're informed of pricing at the consult then it would be better for the cash conscious buyer.

Great team! I am warmly welcomed by name every time I enter the main office. Very professional. I have seen Dr. Melkovich and he is also very professional. I feel totally confident in the quality of the procedures I have had. I wouldn't consider trying another esthetic group, this team is excellent!

Excellent establishment. Above and beyond with friendliness and customer service. They stock and carry all my favorite products for skin care and are conveniently located with ample parking.

I recently took my daughter to MD Esthetics for a hydra facial. I can’t say enough about Dr. Banks and his staff, who were all so kind and friendly, and went above and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable and so well taken care of during her first ever treatment. Beyond the welcoming atmosphere, the service my daughter received was both relaxing and highly effective, leaving her skin feeling amazingly cleansed, refreshed, and glowing. And now, a couple of weeks after her treatment, together with regular use of the product recommended by the knowledgeable staff, she has noticed significant improvement in her skin. We cannot recommend this clinic enough!

I was diagnosed with rosacea and the staff were all very professional, kind, and comforting during the procedure to lessen the redness. I would definitely recommend them!

I’ve been seeing Dr Malkovich on and off for approximately 14 years, having really committed to taking care of myself and feeling my best three years ago. The difference in my skin is night and day. I love the hydro facials and the routine of a balanced skin care regimen. I've only had 2 laser hair removal sessions so far to get rid of the remaining stubborn hair from my Brazilian IPL a few years back. They have proper job segregation of duties and are definitely professional and have top notch customer service. I walked in to inquire the first time and they directed me to one of the laser technicians. After explaining my needs and talking about price, she suggested that I do my first session 2 weeks later as I was still pretty tanned (too much swimming in the lake in summer!) so too much pigmentation on the surface of skin. I appreciated her professional feedback and was nervous but looking forward to my first treatment.

I came back 2 weeks later and unfortunately did not have a good experience. Due to the weird location of the area I was having treatment on, I felt that I could have been placed in a better position to enable more accessibility. The treatment was quick and sloppy, without ensuring that she did a clean sweep of the random hairs in the area. I went back and realize there were random strands of hair remaining that she could have helped to shave off (that i couldn't reach) and so obviously did not get treated. The location also had uneven area which I felt the technician could have moved the skin a little to ensure the laser was targeting those stubborn spots. I did see some hair shedding the first few days which was excellent but one side seemed to lose more hair than the other. I believe it was the angle at which she did the treatment due to the awkward position of the area. It was also pretty painful as I did not apply any numbing cream.

Fast forward to 6 weeks later which I applied the numbing cream and had cling wrap on it. Excellent customer service as always by the concierge. This time the technician was already waiting inside the room for me. I sounded out my concerns to her regarding my last treatment. She was extremely patient and accommodating to my needs and nervousness. This time round she ensured that I was placed in a proper position for easy accessibility, and did a thorough sweep to make sure she didn't leave any random hair out. She even took the initiative to turn me 180 deg after finishing the treatment on the right side and moving to the left side. This is to ensure the angle of the arm she is using allows for easy accessibility and able to target the areas easily. I was very happy and satisfied after that as I felt that the 2nd session was much more professional and detailed, and left feeling that all the hair needed to be gone were lasered. The numbing cream made a huge difference and I would recommend anyone doing it to invest in it!

I booked my 3rd appointment 6 weeks later and have chosen my 2nd session's technician caitlin as I know she will be able to do a good job!

Overall I would still recommend the place and have had positive experiences here with the exception of the first treatment. I am looking forward to the results!

This is the place to go if you are looking for quality, professionalism, privacy and the latest in medical cosmetic treatments as well as facials.

Hands down the only place I would go. The staff is incredible, professional and friendly, a very inviting environment. The office is clean, and sparkly. Dr M is outstanding at what he does.he doesn't try to 'sell' you on any treatment, and his work is his art.

I was very impressed with Dr. Milkovich and his staff. They were very friendly and professional. They made me feel very welcome. Dr. Milkovich is extremely knowledgeable and offers solutions and explains everything so that you are very comfortable with the procedures.
I've been to clinics in the past but they pale in comparison to MD Esthetics. Dr. Milkovich is amazing.

I have been getting therapeutic botox for my migraines here for over 10 years and it has been life changing. Both doctors are excellent. The staff are all wonderful, especially Sue!

I am a 80 year old woman artist living on salt Spring Island. My looks are terribly important to me, particularly my face. For the last 8 years or so, I have been a client at MD Esthetics. I have had the most scientific treatments with the kindest people.
All of them are relatively painless, and make a real difference to my skin. I would have many more treatments if my budget were to allow it, but the team is working with me on a long term maintenance program with the funds that I have available.

I was at MD Esthetics yesterday for a Botox injection. The concierge staff were cheerful and very welcoming, offering a beverage while I waited. Dr. Milkovich was, always, very professional. He expertly and very gently performed his magic and the best part.no bruises! I have been a customer of MD Esthetics for about ten years and have always been very satisfed with both the services they provide and the very caring treatment received from all who work there.

Dr. Banks and his assistants are very knowledgeable about all things skin care. They make you feel so comfortable before, during, and after any consultation/procedure. The products they recommended have done wonders for my skin. I’m so pleased with the results thus far.

For Mothers Treat I was gifted a wonderful day @ MD. As mothers go, we all are fully aware that we put ourselfs last. Well I finally had 3 treatments offered to me and made my appointment to spoil myself. The reception staff were very welcoming and answered any questions I had. Beverages offered and always an uodate as to when someone would be assisting me. While waiting I looked at the skin care and makeup line they carry, a staff member assisted me with suggestions and information on those products as well as the makeup. I was soon off to my first treatment.the Hydra Facial was great, always informed as to what was being done and what each treatment does for my skin.lastly was the arm and hand treatment, this was very relaxing, i didn't want to leave! My face felt fantastic.the last two treatments were specific to my skin type and a treatment plan and course of action was presented to me. Again the tech was very informative and during the procedure, she always checked with me on how I was coping. I just want to say that those sponge balls were very helpful and the cold cloths following was fantastic. The whole experience was met with great care and concern on all three of my procedures that day. I was sent home with welcoming ice pack and some small samples of skin care. Thanks to the ladies involved for a Mothers Day gift that put me first for a change. You're all wonderful.

Though I was a titch nervous, the team and Dr. Dan (Milkovitch) are professional, thoughtful and experienced - and the results speak for themselves. I appreciate looking refreshed every morning - and entirely like myself! I also appreciate the no pressure environment. Highly recommend.

I am currently getting treatment for a very large, vertical abdominal scar from multiple surgeries I have had. So far I have only had 2 (though more like 1.5) kenalog injections from Dr. Banks and I can't believe how much smoother my scar is! It's basically flat at this point so I booked a laser session in a couple weeks.
I still don't know how the laser session (s) will go, but I had one session elsewhere on a scar on my throat and it is almost invisible, so I am hoping I don't need many. So basically, if you don't mind paying a bit more, go to MD Esthetics, don't waste your money elsewhere. Trust me, I worked in this industry in the past (laser hair removal) and there are a lot of lies people will tell you to come to their clinic/spa and drop thousands of dollars. These guys are proper doctors and won't lie to you, unlike a large majority of the people I worked for, and I'm very grateful for that. I've already been through enough, I don't need to be conned out of money as well at this point.
I will be sure to update when I'm done.or post a second time, I'm not sure how it works as this is my first review, but as of now 5 stars!

**Update! So yeah, it's been a while and I forgot about writing this but I'm long done and am so happy with the results. It's a scar and I fully understand that it won't completely disappear but it looks way better, totally skin coloured so barely noticeable. I don't have a picture of it before but I'll post one of my stomach now, keep in mind that it went from being a very thick, brownish red, keloid scar to this. I did get plastic surgery to have the initial scar removed as it was emergency surgery and you can't expect much after that, but had the 1.5 injections and I believe I never even used all of the laser treatments I purchased. I was lucky in that I survived such a brutal attack, but also that Crime Victim's and MSP covered all of this, but I do still stress, do not try to save money on things like this if you are paying, and speak to your doctor about how much MSP will cover, as it covered the plastic surgery portion. Good luck!

My experience here was wonderful! You can tell it was a great place from the moment you entered the office. Everyone that I had contact with were so professional, helpful, relaxed (in a good way!) they didn't appear to be stressed out or have any noticeable tension and all of the girls had a great smiles! There was no high pressure sales to have any of the suggested procedures done or purchasing of their product line. That in itself made the visit all the more pleasurable instead of being a turn off and not wanting to go back. This was the first time I had gone for a consult and was able to get the procedure I wanted the very next day.

I was so pleased with my 1st Botox procedure that was done several months ago that I went back to have a follow up treatment. Dr. Banks is wonderful, we had a great talk about how I felt about my first Botox treatment and he made the necessary injection for me to obtain a natural, less stressed out and youthful look again. I only wish I could afford to have a little more work done and try out some of the other services they offer.

I have been going to MD Esthetics for several years from treating acne, reducing pigmentation, cosmetic treatments, skincare, and most recently a hydra facial and have always received exceptional service from start to finish. The staff in the front office are warm & welcoming and always manage to accommodate me quickly when I have skin 'emergencies'.
