Meadowbrook Family Practice

I have been with Dr. Gabriel for over ten years since my boy was born when Dr. Gabriel began came our family doctor and looked after our family. During EVERY visit, she has always been attentive, professional, and caring. She is always thorough and the front desk staff (even though over the years, there have been a few change of staff), they are patient and helpful. I don't understand where all the negative reviews are coming from. During Dr. Gabriel's ansences, all of the other doctors I have seen at Meadowbrook have been equally superb as well! Thank you for all that you do!

I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic. Dr. Sorial is professional and friendly, my children are comfortable and happy to see her. We feel that she provides good medical advice without pushing us one way or another.

We are usually able to get same day appointments when needed- often being squeezed in for emergency visits. We never wait long in the waiting room and never feel rushed during appointments.

We truly appreciate the online/phone/in person hybrid adopted over the pandemic. It makes access to our Dr that much easier.

I have visited Dr. Shahsavan to request a blood work.
Basically he mixed up another patient file with my file without confirming my name and age and I was lucky to find out myself.
I requested Dr. Shahsavan for a check up test including Vitamin D level.
I did not have a family doctor for 2 years and I was glad that finally I could have a check up after 2 years.
He was in a rush from the beginning and he forgot to add vitamin D test to my requisition.
Very Unprofessional attitude and I feel so uncomfortable with his rush.
I felt embarrassed

I've been going to this clinic for 23yrs seeing an awesome Dr Ross, her replacement Dr Fan was nothing like dr ross now I have no dr as dr fan left the practice with no replacement providing is with a wait list pretty sad our medical system is as bad the US

Surprised to see so many negative comments here. We have been patients of Dr. Gabriel since 2013, it’s been wonderful, she’s the best.

The worst receptionist they're very rude and disrespectful to patients they're unhelpful with anything including even booking an appointment i at this point it is easier to go to the emergency and wait to see a doctor than to see my doctor at this practice

Great doctors. Some of the new reception staff are better - one in particular with dark hair in a pony tail is very helpful

This office has gone straight down hill since the retirement of Brumwell and Jawanda. The new owners of the practice, Low and Cowie are great drs but who buys a practice then gets pregnant? Not one of them but both! And now without any notice to the patients Cowie is moving to another Province. Remaining drs are unhelpful or unwilling. Today I told Dr. Svet? I was going to look for a new dr.and she exclaimed "Excellent"! I'm not a hard patient mostly just refills and after 30 yrs of depression or being on disability I don't need to be re diagnosed every month! Your fired!

Doctors are really nice and friendly but I don't know why the receptionist are really mean and rude

I normally dont write reviews but this time I have to. Dr. SORRIAL is amazing. But the receptionist working today and answering the phone calls is just the rudest of them all. She seems to be new, guess that's why she needs to be trained with courtesy and respect. Oh my bad those are thought at home. You cant train someone with good manners must be learned at home. Horrible lady, no phone manners.

Dr. Cowie and Dr. Low are great but the receptionist are rude, off putting and lack a certain respect that you’d expect at a doctors office.

The doctors are good but a couple of the front staff are off-putting. They don't listen or care about the patients. They actually act like they don't believe you, like your concern has no importance at all. If I have an urgent problem I go to the clinic because they won't see me. They won't use email either.
