Where do I start?
Did 3 ultrasounds in 1 week because they forgot to measure certain parts of the baby! So I kept getting called to come back for a new ultrasound.

In addition, in 2 ultrasound occasions, they said they saw a "finding" and sent me to BC womens hospital for a detailed ultrasound. This happened twice and created a lot of unnecessary anxiety as nothing was detected at the detailed ultrasound. They never told me it was a precaution, rather they said " Your baby has this and that".

Never want to come here again. Don't recommend pregnant women to come here.

The front desk lady was very pleasant and friendly, but the X-ray tech on the other hand was very rude and pushy, instead of asking me step back a step he pushed me back and very think said was rude.
I have been here about 10 times since it opened and always been treated well, but not this time on December 15 2023 around 3 o'clockish. Would of only given 1 star if the front desk girl wasn't so nice.

They don’t allow your husband in the room until the very end. This is beyond stupid, with ZERO reasoning. I don’t want to share this special moments with the tech. I want my husband there. I would understand if there was a logical reason, it just seems like a weird move to try and eliminate the importance of fathers, and the important role your husband plays during this special time. I don’t recommend this place.

I called them asking to book an appointment for a fibroscan. I have a requisition from my specialist in hand. I hope anyone reading this can understand getting a specialist appointment in the first place is not easy.

The woman over the phone told me the specialist office has to fax the requisition over and then they have to "review" to see if I'm good enough to get an appointment for this procedure. The specialist office doesn't take phone calls so Medray is creating a barrier to access a medical service required by my specialist doctor. Absolutely shameful. I have the requisition in hand why can't I book an appointment?

Nice staff and clean location.
The only issue is paid parking, but you can find free parking a little far around.

Everything is great, just careful parking here. The parking company gives tickets like giving sweets on a festival day. They don't care and they are very unprofessional.

Great looking reception area and kind reception staff! The technicians we dealt with, however, lacked competence. Went in for an appointment with my fiance, who had a full bladder, for an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy. We were not seen until about 30 minutes past our appointment time. When we finally got in, the technician barely made an effort before moving us along. We were told we would need to rebook as my fiance had not had enough water, despite nearly peeing herself. We explained that we needed to confirm this pregnancy to see an OBGYN and the requisition said endovaginal may be required. She was brought in to another room where another technician made her put the probe in, herself, without a protective cover on the device. My fiance was unsure of how to use the probe and as a result, could not get a clear image. After all this, we called to speak to a manager who was very rude and dishonest. She refused to believe that there was no cover on the probe, insisting that she trusts what her technicians tell her. Terrible experience!

I had a really good experience here for an ultrasound. My tech was very friendly and made the appointment quick and comfortable. I was in and out within 30 mins.

My go-to facility when x-rays or ultrasounds are needed. Friendly, efficient, respectful staff. Some procedures require a scheduled appointment, while others are simply walk in, so there may be some wait time.

I had a traumatic experience yesterday evening at this place. I went for my prenatal ultrasound at 21 weeks. The receptionist was quite nice and welcoming, however the technician had horrible bedside manner. I was quite worried about my baby's health but she was quiet all the time over the 1 hour examination time. Minimal conversation was made to make me comfortable. I was not shown any images during the whole test. The room was cold and was not comfortable to be left belly out for over 1 hour. The worst part was when she started to push really hard against my tummy. When I said it is painful she mentioned that the image is not clear and she needs to get a clear image of baby's head and continued to push really hard. I was quite concerned and asked if it may have any danger for the baby and her response was "I am not the baby, I don't know, I don't think so". I was silently crying from stress during the rest of the procedure but she didn't care or say a word. I have not been able to feel the baby's movements since then. This is my rainbow baby and I have had a high risk and quite difficult pregnancy after couple of miscarriages and have high stress levels during ultrasounds which was clearly not important for the technician. I had some questions about my cervix length to know if it has shortened and the response was I can't give you an answer. Later my husband was allowed into the room for only couple of minutes to see the baby. This was also the first time I could see the baby as well as she never showed me anything or talked to me about what she was doing. I was so stressed out, I cried the whole way back home and also at home. Due to my high risk pregnancy I have been to multiple ultrasounds and never had this much pressure applied on my belly. This was quite an unnecessary traumatic experience.

I wanted to give them a 5 star review, but their outdated and frankly silly and nonsensical COVID policies when it comes to not allowing the spouse in the room for an ultrasound until the very end, robbing couples of that moment of first seeing their child together, prohibited me from doing so. It's 2023, and there's no reason why the spouse can't be present in the exam room for the ultrasound if properly masked, especially since they invite you in to see and discuss after the initial ultrasound is already performed anyways.

Other than that, very nice lab, easy access and friendly staff.

I have been here for 2 ultrasounds and both experiences were amazing. Organized and friendly reception. And both my techs were so sweet and compassionate. I look forward to my next ultrasound!

Technicians are nice, but one of the reception lady very bossy and full attitude, don’t like it

Went there today around 9.40 am. Staff is extremely Nice and kind. This is my first pregnancy ultrasound and
Ultrasonography specialist just make my day with her words. All positive vibes.

Everyone here is extremely kind and I've never had any issues with waiting, booking appointments etc

I called there on Saturday morning at 8 am for an Ultrasound exam and the assistant who was so nice booked an appointment for 11 am on the same day, I couldn’t believe that fast and easy!
At the office, the assistants were so nice and affable, eventually the technician who was doing the Ultrasound was extremely polite, attentive and professional.
So happy for choosing this place.

I do my ultrasound always here…I’ve done one in Burnaby hospital, which is closer to my home. But I still choose this one because technicians are nicer and often more experienced… I got a student technician at the hospital and it felt like forever with my full bladder……

I had my NT ultrasound here and the technician was so patient, knowledgeable and kind. The facility is very clean and the staff work very efficiently.

I wish I could give 0, one month waiting time for node ultrasounds that every one knows how important it is.

Walked in for an Xray mid-afternoon and was taken in pretty much immediately and was done maybe 10 mins later! Staff also were very kind and friendly. Would recommend.

800$ for lumbar spinal MRI. Not worth it. We got another MRI from India costing approx 50$ and it was high definition zoom in MRI. Medray one was a waste of money without any zoom option. For 800$ you can fly to another country and get any number of MRIs if higher quality.

This has to be the absolute best place to get your ultrasound done! They're just the most patient, understanding, and excellent people you could hope to find. Had my first US here during the height of COVID and they were top-notch, even in a difficult time. Just booked my second one and they were so sweet and accommodating. I would drive a LONG way to visit this clinic. Cannot recommend them highly enough

Very friendly staff especially on a monday morning when i myself am feeling the monday blues haha.not a long wait time which is really appreciated!

Been there twice for dating and NT ultrasound. Can’t complain - was seen at my appointment time, the facility was clean and the techs were very professional. Planning to go back for the anatomy scan.

They are very organized and clear in terms of appointments, line ups etc. The front desk was very nice, quick and patient. Tip: Even if you have an appointment, make sure you go in to get a ticket number from the machine. Once your number comes up on the screen, then you can go up to the front desk.
The person that did my renal ultrasound was nice and patient as well. Washrooms within the clinic in the hallway (not the one outside the waiting room) are cleaner than the ones in life labs. Overall the space was clean compared to hospitals and the ultrasound technician are able to take their time here instead of being rushed. Highly recommend getting a doctor's referral to MedRay instead of the hospital.
Parking: paid parking, make sure to download the app Parkedin for convenience if you don't want the hassle of lining up for the machines.

Called today looking to book an ultrasound but the receptionist lady just said they don’t have any dates for me even without asking my due date. Very unprofessional and careless - would not recommend to go there.

Absolutely unacceptable that they don't allow partners back for fetal ultrasounds save a 2 min "showing" after the pregnant person has gone through the ultrasound alone and then left alone for 15 minutes BELLY OUT on their back while the tech does paperwork and grabs the partner. They're not even reducing covid exposure, but they're keeping pregnant people from being comfortable and supported and denying bonding from partners who wish to be involved in their unborn child's care. Very disappointing.

During these difficult times in healthcare it is a welcome relief to come to MedRay where the staff is kind and professional. Although they are very busy you get in within an acceptable amount of time. This is the location my Dr recommends for x-rays and ultrasounds.

Great facility and great staff, specially Erica who did my ultrasound. She is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to investigate a concern that Doctor didn’t ask for, but she cared. Best ultrasound experience so far.

I had a horrible experience at Westcoast Medical Imaging, and had so much anxiety for the 20 week ultrasound and a friend of mine told me about Medray. I called to make an appointment last minute and they had no availability for 7weeks, after hearing my experience the receptionist was extremely sweet, took down all my details and told me to call back the minute they open for any cancellations and got me in within 2 days.

They were so amazing from the moment you step into their office and made the experience so easy and exciting for first time parents. There was no wait, the office is clean, rooms were warm, the tech was super kind and they let my husband in for the last 5-10minutes and printed pictures for us to take.

I highly highly recommend coming here!

Your website and phone system regarding booking a diagnostic breast imaging appointment needs clear clarification. Either we call to book an appointment or you call us to book an appointment. Cannot be both. Would have left a zero star rating if I was able to. Very disappointed as well by the receptionist who took my call. She could have booked me an appointment right there and then.

I went for an xray. Great thing about that is i didnt need an appointment. Can only have 6 ppl sit inside right now, due to covid. I was in and out in about tops 20 mins

Friendly receptionists and sonographers have good bedside manner. Equipment used for ultrasounds are good quality—much better than other medical imaging places I’ve been to. Rooms are a bit tight but it’s like that most places. Paying for parking in that area seems like a cash grab. It’s not like it’s a busy area. I look for street parking or just park behind Superstore and walk across the street.

I had two ultrasounds and although I've had previously done before, was nervous as I was in terrible pain! Ashley was tremendous! Very patient and good at her job, as due to my anxiety, I was talking while she was focussed on what needed to be done. I prefer this Medical Imaging place over others!

I went there today to get a X-RAY, the ladies at the desk were pleasant, HOWEVER the x-ray tech was so mean and heartless! She almost had me in tears I was holding them back! I had to get X-rays on my shoulders (not my first time either) she told me I had to remove my necklace I told her first of all it would be very hard for me to get it off cause I have long nails, she proceeded to say well I am not going to take it off for you! Secondly i told her I’ve never taken it off since the day my mom passed away (which is recently and it was my moms), I told her in previous x-rays I just had to move my necklace above my mouth so it wasn’t visible in the x-ray. She had no sympathy nothing when it came to doing the x-ray she looked at me and said do whatever you have to do with your necklace! I had to get x-rays on my knee as well as my hips and I just wanted to get out of there I walked out in tears I am a very pleasant person at all times and I appreciate all of these Frontline workers during this tough time I make the effort to be even more pleasant to them, this tech doesn't deserve her job! I would love someone to reach out to me talk to me on the phone about my experience.

I've had my fair share of ultrasounds at a handful of different places in the lower mainland. I can easily say this was by far the best experience. Depending on the circumstances it can be an anxious time for some.

Chrissy was my tech, and I believe she is a great asset to any establishment. She offered the best of both worlds.knowledge and kindness.

From the moment I called to book, until the ultrasound was complete, I had a superb experience here.

Just got in for NT UTZ and it is my first time to have it done here. I was informed others don’t do the said UTZ and that’s why I was referred here. Down side most of all is parking is not free. And my first ultrasound experience here is horrible. It was just painful upon pushing those probes on my tummy. The tech asked me to go pee like 8 times and upon scanning would just push on both probes alternately. You may need that view to get the scan done but not that much much pressure man! Took me almost an hour in there. Will I come back? No way!
