I loved the food it was very good and delicious the staff were amazing and Whenever I go I'm always happy and I love it

Did a take out on the combo.
So satisfied with the portion size but a little of complimentary yogurt cucumber sauce would have been amazing.

Their koubideh kebob WAS one of the best in town, but no more! I don't know buy their food quality has dropped down dramatically!

It was our first time in that restaurant, the food was awesome. They made it fast and delicious. But the service was awful! We were the only guests there and still waitress was extremly rude! Maybe it was racist or homofobic we don't know, cause later other guests came and she was okay with them. 100% WOULD NOT RECOMEND!
Even with her being so rude to us, we still wanted to leave some tips but she took card reader mashine from my hands with anger on her face and choosed No tips herself. This girl deserve to be fired, service is not her thing! Thanks to cooks for good food and waitress for bad mood!

The quality of food we ordered was so poor! I couldn’t eat my Koobideh dish! The meat tasted weird! Last time ordering here!

The food was fine but the customer service was awful. I came from Ontario to visit BC and found this Iranian Restaurant. I wanted to give it a try but was not happy with the customer service. There was only 1 girl who was serving. She was quite rude and gave bad service. My dad still gave her tip but her attitude didn’t change. We were the only ones in the restaurant but still received bad customer service. I won’t recommend anyone to visit this place!

Ordered their food and the quality of the meat koobideh was doubtful. It didn't seem like real meat at all, more like soy-based meat or something that had a spongy texture. Additionally, the taste was unusual and didn't resemble meat, but something different altogether.

Hands down one of the best persian restaurants in this city. Atmosphere might not be the beat top notch place that you would prefer to eat, but I can never get enough of their food.

Service is also great.

It is one of the best kebab and rice in town. I absolutely love their koobideh and chicken wings. It's one of the fluffiest, juciest, and tastiest koobideh and rice I've had.
I tried their tahdig with gheymeh as well, the tahdig was not crispy, but the gheymeh was very tasty. The wings were marinated with saffron and bbq on fire. Will come back to try more dishes.

I just wanna thank you for your delicious Koobideh. Best one I had in Vancouver so far. I hope you keep up with this amazing quality.

So we ordered the Shish Kebab (misspelled as “sish” on the receipt) …and they brought us some lamb chops instead. Shish Kebab at any place is ground beef skewers, not lamb chops. We asked if we could get ground beef skewers instead and were told no. We asked if we could just get 2 skewers of ground beef and were told ok. We were charged full price for a dinner and $1 was removed for no rice. Lol. Terrible customer service and I would not recommend the food here. Just like the typo on the receipt, the menu is full of typos and description errors.

To add to the disaster, the Kashbademjan had Qurut/Kashk which wasn’t in the menu description ‍️

We had a reservation, once we arrived the table was not even ready. I asked for a highchair, the waitress pointed to a corner and told me I can go and grab one myself! One of the two highchairs was very dirty, the other one had broken belt lock. We had to clean the highchair ourselves. Once she took our order and brought the food, she never showed up to ask if we need anything, we finished the food, she never showed up that we can ask for the bill, we waited at the front for a long time while they were on the phone and finally acknowledged us to pay. The food was not bad but the service was terrible.

Don’t expect these guys to honour your reservation or their own business hours. Made a reso for a birthday and when I got there at 5: 20PM, the guy pretended he didn’t know about any reso and closed up shop.

Such an amazing cooking talent! I'd never had koobide same as Iran ones until I had it in Mehman.
Meat was so juicy but it was completely cooked. Rice was so well cooked and smelled buttery which was my favorite.
I was absolutely satisfied with my order.

Kobideh smells like it has been in the fridge for a while and started to rot. An easy recipe they couldn’t get right. One in our party found a piece of plastic in the soup and when we told the waitress, she tried to justify instead of apologizing. Bad experience.

Best Persian food I've ever had in Vancouver. Reasonable price. Very welcoming staff and great menu options. One specific distinction of Mehman restaurant is its consistency. You can expect same good quality, every time you order. That's something I have rarely seen amongst other Persian restaurants in the town.

My brother in law was visiting from San Diego and we stopped in today May 27th for an early dinner. 5 of us. Great kebabs, well cooked as asked for, good portion of rice on plate with a bbq tomato. Nice little restaurant that is comfy and food was good. Go and Support this local business.

I really appreciate the taste and quality of their food but today I had a strange experience. I ordered three dishes online from their website and chose pick up so I can get them on my way to my parents. Showed up at the time and the hostess saw my mobile confirmation and asked the kitchen “ our price is different than what was posted online, which one should I charge? “ then she put the bill right on the table where I could see that exactly everything that I ordered was $46. My online bill however was $59! The fella in the kitchen told the girl charge what ever is more! Assuming I don’t understand the language (I sure do!). Now the $13 difference does not make me rich or broke and I understand the struggle of Covid is still lingering and I like to support you but this is a dishonest business practice. So despite how much I love your food, I will never buy from you again!

The Kobidah did not have the test of kebab to much oily the chicken looks like you backed it in the oven there is no test.

Be savad. Write wet paint do not enter! Your parking is in the back how am I supposed to know youre painting! Why is your back door open! You ruined my 200$ jacket! And the owner yells at me over his paint! Keeram to kose nanat

Our first Persian food. Absolutely delicious! Marzieli helps us choose what to eat and its an absolute delight! I Highly recommend this place and will be back soon! My girls loves it!

Foods are very tasty and well prepared, you can chose among many menu options.
I love the service, Marzieh is so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality!

I ordered a persian dish (gheyme stew with eggplants) from this restaurant, when I took it home and opened it. It was delicious, but I found a piece of small glass in my food that was quite sharp.and that really scared me! Would think again next time if I want to order from here.

It has been the top 1st persian restaurant in vancoyver, since we came here frim 5 months ago.
Delicious taste, great quality, nice staff called "Marzieh" and reasonable price and enough parking lications aroun that. Quick serving of delicious cuisines from Iran (Persia) and Afghanistan. Highly recommend!

Had five of their Covid Specials today (see photo) and none of them disappointed, especially the the chicken one which was the most tender chicken breasts Persian style I have had, and the Ground beef Koobideh one was tender, juicy, tasty and two skewers to boot. Ok it was. It all for me but I tasted them all:). The Sabzi Stew was very nice too. The hostess (not the right spelling but sounds like) Nehgim? She had her hair dyed a bit blue, she was very pleasant and warm, even taught me some Persian words like Merci for thank you. A good experience and well recommended.

Mehman is my favorite restaurant for persian food. Their chicken kabab is amazing. I love vaziri as well. They also offer half rice half salad at a very low cost. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for high quality persian food.

Will never go back to this restaurant. We took some food from them, and when we arrived at home we found out that the ppq lamb chops were so bad and didn't smell good, it was late tocall them and they were closed. Maybe they didn't notice that, but they need to check the quality of their food from time to time.

Food presentation was pretty, rice was cooked right, and kebabs were all made to perfection. Very nice staff and special thanks to dear MARZIEH with helping me choose right blend of kebabs for a big order.
I eat at Mehman quite often and I’m always pleased with their quality of food and customer service. Always look forward to being back to this place.

Their food used to be good at the beginning when they first open but not anymore.

I don’t recommend Mehman restaurant to anyone because their food quality went down and their meat is old and not fresh. I had to throw their food in the garbage.

The place is tired and the ambience is just so unremarkable. The restaurant comes across as quite sketchy not going back there.

Consistent quality and great customer service. I usually order their Kabab Koobideh with soup and both are always delicious and consistently good. Keep up the great work Mehman!

Very rude staff, waist of money, dirty service bad taste ground beef kebob and chicken bone in was lasting too long and smelled like garbage

First time trying tonight. I must say I wasn't expecting much. However, I was blown away from the hummus we ordered for our appetizer to our main entrees! I ordered the lamb soltani while my husband ordered torsh kabab. On the side, we had ordered a shirazi salad which surprisingly paired very well with our rice dishes! If I have to be a critic, the only complaint would be the location as I live all the way in Surrey! I won't be able to come here as much as I want but will definitely come back as it is worth the drive!

It was the most mouthwatering Koobide in North shore so far.the only negative thing was the tomatoes didn't cooked at all. It was 100% raw and couldn't mixed with rice.

My wife and her friends had a dinner here. From my knowledge 5 people have gotten sick, (COVID-19 positive) from there. They do not care about corona virus in the restaurant, with no regard to the pandemic protocols. Now me and my wife are COVID-19 test positive. I hate Mehman restaurant!

Wrost customer service ever. Waste of money and bad food there’s lots of better persian restaurants nearby try another place They are so rude with customers and even not say hi properly. The service is so dirty and dangerous in COVID time

The food tase was okay but i have tried much more delicious kabab and soltani else where in Greater Vancouver.
Talking about service and the waitress i would give it a second thought of going there.
For sure it would not be on top of my list

Today we were there at 830 but they told us they are closing. However on the entrance they mentioned they will close at 930.
Maybe they don't want have customer.

We ate here a few years ago when we were on holidays in Vancouver. Found it by chance. The food was amazing. The service was great. My family still talks about this restaurant every so often. Will definitely eat here again the next time we visit Vancouver.

If your looking for a good food, service, attitude n of course great quality you should try this place. I highly recommend for all my friends.

This store definitely uses canned food, they have the worst food i ever ate in my life.i paid 15$ dollars for one plate of kebab and honestly i believe the meat was made out of sheep’s stomachs or heart (not meat) or it was just expired.i haven’t ate food since i ate their food. I wish i could give you zero stars.waste of money.

Was there on Monday Eater for pick up.they have the sign for specials but don't respect it. When asked why don't apply specials was told that this Monday is weekend since it is long weekend! I don't know why they put the sign for specials if they don't respect it! Restaurant is not all about food but honesty as well.not honest.won't go there again

My favorite place for koobideh - It's moist, flavorful, and delicious! I've always had great food at Mehman; it's probably my favorite Persian restaurant in North Vancouver!

I heard from a friend that this place is better than other Persian restaurants but I should let you know that it's not!

What happend mehman team? Last year amazing! But now realy bad or maybe just delivery. The lady on the phone can be muchhh nicer your kashke bademjun is not self made and kabab not gpod no onions and sumac you send with it.

Their food is over average, but quality is not consistent, sometimes is very good sometimes normal, they should improve their customer services as well. But overall never have had any problem with their food. For this quality prices are fair.

I FOUND A ROACH IN MY FOOD! Staff called me names when I told them about it! Very bad staff and service! I want to puke just thinking about it! DONT COME HERE!

First time eating from here, I ordered skip the dishes.the food is half cooked.my meat is half pink.after calling them they said they would redo it if I paid again.you send uncook food and then expect another payment? That’s basically trying to rip me off. Worst customer service. I will ensure I let everyone I know how bad this place is. Word of mouth is much more effective than these reviews.

For quite long time we were looking for a good persian restaurant. We tried Mehman and really enjoyed the food and hospitality.

Update.
Have done take outs a lot and the food is still great and will keep on going.
Took a friend of mine for dine in tonight and he enjoyed it too. Will keep going.

Small place and great service.
Been there 3 times so far and the food is always outstanding. Will be going there more often.
The price is very reasonable and a good selection of dishes.

Overall good experience
Ordered lamb kebab (soltani) initially but the quality was not good at all
When talked to servant she quickly offered another option and we ended up to get another Chenjeh kebab which the taste and quality was very good.
Very tasty and reasonable price.
Ground beef kebab and Chenjeh was very good.
I liked the way she wanted to help and make a good experience for us.
Stead of improvement: floor cleanliness and kebab smell

I wanted to try Persian food for the first time excited from what my friend's told me about the service and food. Food was old not even hot when i told the server they didnt even care or do anything! Took me so long to find parking for that? Never going to eat there or Persian food again.
