I got the quiche and salad and it was great value for $10 I believe. My hubby got a croissant and cheddar scone. He wasn’t a fan of the croissant as he said it tasted dry.

Cozy and beautiful French style patisserie. The pain au chocolat is exceptional and the cappuccino is very good too. 100% recommended.

The service is nice, the cakes are regular mousses and the place is nothing much. I think you pay too much for what it is.

This Patisserie truly deserves a 5 star. From the cutlery, friendly service, delectable desserts, just amazing. I felt like I was in France. Almond croissant is a must try. Only thing is that the Quiche was very subpar, but everything else we had was good nonetheless. Server gave us the wrong order and quickly fixed it with no fuss, really appreciated that. Seating is small and limited to one hour, so plan accordingly. We will definitely be back!

The croissants here are simply heavenly, flaky on the outside and soft on the inside. And the customer service is top-notch too, the friendly staff make me feel welcome.

The place might seem small, but they have some outdoor seating if the weather is nice.

Their dessert selection is small and incredibly expensive for such small portion sizes. Don’t get me wrong, they tasted quite well but certainly not worth 9$…

Melo is my favorite place for coffee and a quick meal/desert in Vancouver. Everything is meticulously crafted and tastes wonderful. The staff is helpful and friendly. I recommend to all my friends.

Great place for pastries and tea. This place has great options for gluten free. I highly recommend the Chocomelo. You won't be dissapointed.

The cake selection is rather small. It's good but no better than others options. The space is small and it can be difficult to find seating. I would come again if in the area, but it wouldn't be worth making a trip.

Such appetizing cakes! We ordered a Black Forest, Mount Coffee, and a Choco Melo Cake. The first one we tried was the Choco Melo Cake. The creamy cake was very flavoursome and a little sweet, which I liked. The second one, Black Forest, was an assortment of sweet and sour. I appreciated the creamy and soury combination. It was remarkably outstanding. The last one was Mount Coffee, which had a rich flavour. It tasted a lot like the tiramisu. I liked the Choco Melo Cake the most. I would recommend all three of the cakes, but you should absolutely try the Choco Melo Cake.

Visited on recommendation of a foodie friend. Wow! What an exquisite experience. Soothing instrumental jazz playing quietly. I chose the signature choco melt cake. Delicious.the silky smooth mousse a beautiful melody of chocolate floors. It danced sweetly on my tongue. The presentation was beautiful.the dessert beautifully plated and the white signature china of my coffee cup so chic. I was particularly touched by the graciousness of the staff who noticed my purse on the floor and brought me a purse hook. Thank you Melo for an enchanting prelude to the theatre this evening xo

We have ordered a chocolate cake here for friend’s birthday. It was really delicious and it’s their most famous cake. I would really suggest this place for cakes and croissants

Discovered this place over a year ago and it became one of my favourites. Great quality sweets, very friendly an caring personnel. Baked goodies are always fresh and warm. They also use very nice and fancy tableware which adds to the ambience.

Found this place recently and they had both excellent customer service and delicious food! Everything was also reasonably priced too. It’s a hidden gem!

One of the most decadent pastry chef in town, the owner and chef Tom simply made possible a place to experience amazing high end food in a coffee shop.

From the decor to the food everything inpires you to try a bit of sweet heaven and just relax.

Despite of what you could expect price wise, the place offers a large variety of food for all tastes and pocket sizes.

Wow. Amazing atmosphere, amazing drinks, delicious food and wonderful service. It's such a cute tea shop! I would highly recommend bringing a loved one here for lunch or brunch. The pastries looked amazing but I didn't have any. Will be coming back!

I had an issue where the cake I ordered was not the cake that was delivered to me and I wanted to come back to change my review to a 5 star rating as I came back with my friend for an afternoon tea and it was amazing. Everything about this place is impeccable and beautiful. I love the ambience and set up, and it just makes you feel very comfortable and cozy. The food is also amazing. If you are a fan of Mochas like me you will love the Mocchamelo, and the soup du hour with grilled cheese was also amazing. I don't even need to speak for the cakes, they are the best part! I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back for more afternoon teas with friends.

My favorite bakery in Vancouver since I found out about this place two years year ago. They have amazing croissants and sophisticated cakes. The only place I found that has decent quiche. The owner and the staffs are very friendly as well.

This bakery is a dream! Fantastic pastries, fantastic drinks, fantastic atmosphere! I can't wait go back. The café mountain was by far my favourite cake, subtle and not too sweet.

The service is great and the food is delicious, i had a salad that was awesome and after I had a blueberry scone that was just made, delicious. I have 2 drinks, an iced latte served in a wine glass is super cool! And then a mango tea, spectacular! I highly recommend this place, also the location is great, it is near Main but in a quiet side street.

Great service and delicous food (had the butter croissant and quiche of the day (mushrooms, spinach and tomatoes). Good ambiance, liked all the beautiful dishes and other accoutrement that are vintage.

This is one my favorite cafes in all greater Vancouver. It has amazing staff, delicious and well baked pastries and very good esspresso.

Very high attention to detail in their produce, decoration and service. Very professional and passionate management. Love to just go there every now and then to see how they have changed the store into something new according to the season and time of the year and it has been always magnificent, chic and heart warming.

I tried the croissant sandwiche the other day and as I imagined it was very good. The croissant, and the financiers here are one of the best in vancouver that I've tried and I'm pretty picky with my pastires.

They are also open till late which is a plus. I've been there in different seasons through out the year and everytime its a surprise.

The owner is very kind, humble and warm guy and he really knows how to bake, serve and decorate. Highly recommend this place.

The croissants here are so good. It's run by this lovely owner who is always there and is so friendly. The ham and brie sandwich is an all day item which is my fave. They have great service. Really good coffee and the cafe is always decorated so beautifully for the season. Grear neighborhood spot.

Wow. Just ate a chocolate fudge cookie and drank an Americano. This might be the best coffee and the best cookie I've ever had. I'm melting. Just incredibly tasty.

THIS SERVICE WAS PERFECT! It was my sons birthday, we ordered 2 black forests, they added lots of topping, fruits etc, they also gave us a free hot chocolate! THEY WERE LITERALLY THE. NICEST. PEOPLE. IN. THE. WORLD.

The staff were extremely friendly and courteous even bringing our order out to us at a small table outside. The treats and drinks were also delicious, and the atmosphere was also really nice. DEFINITELY worth visiting!

It's a wonderful place with great food and drinks. Reason why I'm giving this place a three star review is because my wife and I must have gotten the most forgetful staff. We completed our transaction that included two meals, two drinks and a dessert. We sat down and had our two meals and drinks. We waited for our dessert but had to notify them. During that interaction I ordered a chocolate croissant to-go. We sat back down to eat the dessert and proceeded to wait for the croissant. Again we had to notify a server who was clearing a table next to us. Unfortunately this server forgot to get us the croissant so right before leaving, we came back to the counter to ask for the chocolate croissant to-go, the server who had the transaction with me for the croissant seemed doubtful and said she needs to check the computer for the order. I let her know that I just ordered and the conversation we had so she eventually gave us the croissant. Really awkward experience.

Beautiful place, friendly staff and most important awesome food. The mousse like cakes are the best dessert that I have ever tasted. This place is a must when desiring an awesome dessert.

I highly recommend the Melo Passion Ganache (descr. "Layers of chocolate cake and passionfruit ganache filling. The cake is coated in smooth chocolate glaze and crispy hazelnut feulletine flakes. "). I do not have much of a sweet tooth, yet this dessert always has me considering having seconds within the same sitting. The hazelnut flavour is pronounced and delicious, and the passionfruit flavour complements it entirely.

The barista also did a splendid job with my cappuccino. Great foam-to-milk ratio.

I will definitely be introducing my friends + family to Melo Patisserie. This is a top-tier dessert spot. I look forward to my next visits!

Melo is without a doubt one of the kindest folks I’ve come across in years. His attention to his customers is exceptional and the pastries (especially the croissants) rival any bakery in Vancouver. Between the beautiful decor and such wonderful ambiance, he’s earned a customer for life

Ordered a delicious Birthday cake for my youngest. It was to die for.she had picked out this cake and it did not disappoint, the strawberry vanilla was heavenly and so light. Such a beautiful cake as well. Definitely would order again

Delicious variety. We walked in and asked for two cakes for our moms, walked out with two cute cakes with beautiful handwriting! Omg loved them so much! Thank you chief! They have excellent customer service. And at the end moms loved it!

Their crossaint quality was amazing! The almond crossaint was a little too sweet but the butter tasted amazing. I would recommend trying it out! Also very cute and the street always has parking

What a location to behold. Tucked away right by the ever busy Main St, this French patisserie, is arguably the best in Vancouver. Their patisserie aren't overly sweet, nor lacking but rich and beautifully balanced. The staff, in particular, the man who guided me through their main cakes, was a delight to listen to. He was competent in articulating what pairs with what. I am convinced that he may be the head chef.

Their aesthetic presence is also clearly felt but not overtly and unecessarily complicated. A beautiful modern set with elegant classic cues, a good dance between old aestherics and modern minimalism.

The gastrononicam and aesthetic experience is delivered beautiful right by the busy street of Main. A dinner at St. Lawrence in Gastown followed by dessert and coffee at Melo would be a day remembered.

As it is geographically close to Thierry, some may be torn to choose between this location and Thierry, but in my opinion, there is no question that Melo offers a superior experience in all dimensions, gastronomical, ambiance, and service.

The almond croissant is beyond *AMAZING* I was very surprised because it’s not always my first choice of croissants. I also took home the vanilla cheesecake and coffee cake. My family and I enjoyed them both.

The staff here is delightful and very kind.

Latte was good, the cup and plate for the coffee was fancy. Almond crossiant was pretty good, except they only give u a knife and no fork. So we ended up have to eat with our hands. The place is clean and nicely decorated, but they only have a few tables.

Beautiful place, beautiful cakes and beautiful plates and cups. The service is really friendly. Both chocolate cake and the coffee cake are really good and not overly sweet. The latte was ok, not impressed.

Its a patisserie but they only have croissants and pain au chocolate? Like that's LITERALLY it. I have never seen less selection at a bakery in my life. Extremely disappointing.
