Our 10years old got their first taste of piercing today at Memento Mori Studios and what an amazing experience. Cal (our illustrious piercing artist) was so wonderful and respectful to our child. I’m sure this won’t be the last time we are patrons to this establishment.

Mike was awesome! Within the last year, he’s pierced the ears for my two daughters. We had had a pretty bad experience at a different shop in a different town with my oldest daughter. These guys are thorough, clinical, professional, and personable. They are not the cheapest, but I don’t think this is an area that you should be shopping for a bargain. The work was outstanding. Thanks so much Mike - we highly recommend you to people!

My experience here was amazing! Everyone there is friendly and very chill. I got a triple lobe piercing on one ear. Megan was my piercer, and she was very calming and welcoming. The best part was trying to pick studs and Megan was very informative, felt like I wasn't pressured or rushed to pick a set of studs. The piercing process was calming and Megan talked through every step she was performing. I'm definitely going back there, highly recommend for piercings! And highly recommend Megan!

Caleigh green was hands down the piercing experience I've ever had. She was very knowledgeable and understanding! The most professional and safe piercer I've ever seen!
I've been told by many piercers my cartilage is quite hard and she made quick work of placing my 3 piercings I had done.
If you're looking for a curated ear as well she has an amazing eye for placement! Cannot recommend her expertise more!

Can’t say enough! I’ve had a couple of tattoos done by Jax and they are awesome! My kid has her ears pierced 4 years ago there and has now had her nose pierced by caleigh, (very smart and funny and gave her advice we would never have thought of!)
Staff is amazing and it’s a very cool shop!

Cal was amazing! I was super nervous about getting my nose pierced but she was very quick and explained the entire process thoroughly, along with the aftercare and she answered all questions and concerns I had. She also was great with placement and helping me choose a stud that suited me best. Studio is also very clean and welcoming. I definitely recommend getting pierced by Cal if you come here!

I've used them for piercing and it went well. I cannot say the same for my tattoo appointment just to talk to an artist which went horribley sideways. Let's just say they couldn't be professional enough to call me both times and would rather, when I did call in, make excuses for why they cannot call. Words verbatim were "they don't call people". Management then said I had a tone so not to book. I happily obliged. Bring your business elsewhere. These guys have no customer service skills. Best watch some Cardone modules and learn a bit.

Horrible service. I was late by 1 minute and she said they couldn’t serve me because they need “every minute of the appointment. ” Ridiculous. People could have something come up, traffic, etc.never going back

The shop seems really nice and my piercer was very nice and he did a great job, but the price was way to much. Their site say 60$ for ear piercing. I got the most basic earrings they had and my total was still 125$ after I had a $50 gift card. And I would have to pay again for the shorter bars 30$ each.

Just got tattoos today and what a great experience we had. Nathan was our tattoo artist and I highly recommend him. Great guy to talk to and made us feel very comfortable. I will definitely be going back again. We made another appointment for 2 weeks to get tattooed by Nathan again. 5 stars and if I could give more I would

Did a walk in for a piercing change. The studio is huge and very clean. Friendly staff. I had to buy their jewelry for them to put in which was annoying, however understandable. The staff who did my piercing change was friendly and helpful.

I got my first tattoo by Ema and they were so sweet, respectful and professional, I will absolutely be coming back. The studio is very welcoming and hospitable, it’s a very positive environment and relieved a lot of my stress when I went in.

Absolutely phenomenal crew here! Everyone from the office staff to the piercers and tattooists is so welcoming and cool. I've been a client for a while and I'm always excited for another appointment

Took my 6 year old to get her ears pierced last night. They were absolutely fantastic with her and did a great job. The appointment starts as a consultation and if piercer and kiddo both agree that they're ready, they'll go through with the piercing. Our piercer was so lovely and made her feel so special. They even gave her a little certificate after which made my kid feel like she just did something really awesome and brave.

I went in with a partially closed Monroe. They were able to get the post in comfortably without having to re-pierce as it hadn't closed all the way! Great service and very clean!

Got 2 ear piercings from Megan and had a really good experience. They were kind and thorough and had excellent bedside manner! The front of house staff were professional and kind and the studio is massive and gorgeous. Had a really nice selection of high end jewelry too!

I appreciated that they carry top quality jewelry options, and that the piercing staff are members of the A. P. P. I definitely felt more comfortable knowing that the piercers are trained & certified in stringent quality, safety and hygiene standards.

I was nervous for my piercing, but Right off the bat, Megan made me feel comfortable. She felt like a longtime friend and calmly talked me through everything she was doing, it definitely helped ease my anxiety. She was very professional, knowledgeable, and made my procedure as quick and painless as it could be. I will be back for more in future!

Very pricey, but I suppose you pay for what you get. High quality piercings and professional staff!

Absolutely blown away by this place! Definitely was not expecting the high ceilings and professional look to the facility. They're very good with follow up. I've been pierced at a few other places, but this place was by far the cleanest-feeling. My piercer was very personable, and great at her job - I swear I didn't even feel the first needle at all. I'll be going back for my curated ear, and any other piercings I may want in the future. If I still lived in another city, this place would be worth the trek to Abbotsford. Can't say enough good things.

I stopped in here for a bead swap on my 4 earrings. I found the staff to be welcoming and informative. For those complaining regarding the cost of the jewellery, I found the website and the staff clear about pricing beforehand. I for one really appreciate that there is a place offering quality jewellery and I didn't mind paying more with this in mind. I absolutely love the beads I chose and Ryan was great! I would recommend this shop.

I personally would never go to Momento Mori again.

The only time I attempted to get work done here was a complete waste of time.

The first person a talked to had me explain the tattoo I wanted and took a reservation payment. When it came time for the appointment to have the work done, they told me they wouldn't do it and the initial worker shouldn't have set it up.

Amazing experience. They made me feel so comfortable especially Mike. If your going to get pierced go to Mike.

I have been getting my tattoos done by Robyn for 4 years now. We are working on my sleeve and did a pretty big tattoo on my back. Very friendly and love her work

I brought my daughter to get her belly bottom pierced here recently while visiting. I asked the lady multiple times are you sure this ring is the right size? I felt it was too small. I get home and my daughter had to have it surgically removed because it was way too small and started to push inside the hole where it was pierced. She was in a lot of pain and really traumatized from the experience. Although my daughter did follow all recommendations for cleaning and we even bought the solution sold at the studio. The lady recommended that she may need a even smaller ring however when I got home I compared the ring to the one I got mine pierced with and it was half the size. The studio was very clean and she was very professional I just believe her judgement wasn’t accurate.

Thank you Shannon for making my Mother’s first tattoo a wonderful and comfortable experience today. She says she will request Shannon again for her next tattoo. She was nervous and Shannon made her feel very comfortable. Plus the tattoo is gorgeous. Thank you so much guys

Awesome service and attention to health, cleanliness and detail. Jacquie spent time in a professional consultation prior to creating artwork, discussed best placement and best inks and colours for my son's skin tone. So pleased with the results. Planning a family adventure for a shared tattoo soon.

I went in there to get my ears pierced. The reason I rated it 3 stars is well the store looks nice and professional but it took them 20 mins just for me to wait and I was the only customer there, after that the piercings where way too expensive I paid 210$ for them and the piercings are uneven on my ears one piercing is higher than the other.then I told them about it when I went home and called them they said come back and we can fix it. But then they said they where fully booked and couldn’t do anything about it. Overall it was way to expensive, felt unprofessional and bad customer service

SUPER EXPENSIVE piercing shop! Megan was pleasant enough, professional & a good piercer, my piercing is healing nicely, however, when you arrive & are directed to choose your jewelry, Megan offered some very beautiful options in the first display case with no indication of price, although their site says most jewelry "starts" at $50-$60, however, Megan started with a display of pieces that started at over $200! When I selected an item & she grabbed the price list to tell me how much it was before grabbing it, she then told me the item I chose was $270! On top of the $70 piercing fee! I had to ask to be shown pieces that were under $100! I get that they're a professional, high-end shop, but that just seemed shady

I have been pierced by Meghan twice now for 3 piercings since Covid shut down and I'm pleased to say I've had a phenomenal experience each time! She was very diligent in making sure I was comfortable during my piercing/s and even went as far as to ask which position I was comfortable in (sitting or laying down)

She helped me to choose the best jewelry for my piercing that worked well with my pre existing ones and I must say, it was such a relief to finally have found a place that has jewelry that works for me as I have very bad metal sensitivities.

Their Covid protocol is very good and made me feel safe the entire time. They sanitize and clean everything thoroughly and take many extra precautions.

They are very helpful there and in my experience, are always willing to help whether its about a new piercing, aftercare, concerns, jewelry, shortening posts etc.

The one thing I do find a tad dissapointing as a minor (I have parental consent) is that due to their Covid protocol I am not able to get a tattoo. They are tattooing adults and are piercing adults and minors so although I do fail to see how it is any safer not to tattoo minors at this time I am okay with waiting.

All in all, it is an incredible place for piercings, especially for those with sensitive skin. They do everything possible to ensure you have a positive experience and I would highly recommend going there, after my many bad piercing experiences elsewhere this is the only place I trust

I had my ear piercing today from Megan, it was not painful at all because she made me comfortable before doing it. It was my first experience with them and I’m so happy about it.

I had Megan do my piercings and she is wonderful! A 11/10 experience and she’s very knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. I am for sure coming back.
