Great staff, store and product catalog! I bought a very niche product from here: Kinesis Freestyle Edge RGB Keyboard (Cherry MX Red Mechanical Switches). Can't even get this on Amazon anymore. Staff are very friendly, and accommodating. I sent many emails to do price matching, get multiple shipping ETA updates, and also initiate a product exchange because the item was defective. 99% of my emails get responses on the same day. I appreciate the staff a lot! Keyboard is great!

This is the best computer store I have dealt with in Canada. They are upfront, have a very good phone and online customer service model, and their policies are public and easy to understand. The Vancouver store has great staff, I recently dealt with Tyler and he was great. They have a well priced in store warranty which makes any issues easy. Thanks for running such a good business. I have also visited their stores in Edmonton and Calgary and both were also great - good company overall.

Price beat guarantee is a great touch and very easy to use online. Shintaro was helpful and informative; felt like he was actually giving me real information instead of leading toward an up-sell. I have always had good service and sales experiences here.

Update to add if I could give them more stars I would. Exceptional service from Sasha on what I'm sure was an annoying question and process especially given the time of year. Officially now my go to spot for anything PC.

This is an easy 5 stars for me. Big thanks to the manager Eric and his team who have helped me immensely with processing an RMA for a monitor I purchased here in the spring. The entire team, were patient, helpful and very accommodating with all my needs. I will definitely be shopping here again!

Excellent Memory Express location. Parking is a bit of a challenge due to the skytrain expansion, but I think there's a little parking in the back

Ordered the wrong part twice and wasted an entire month of my time. They said the seller was the issue, but when I looked into it they had actually ordered a part that didn’t even advertise itself as compatible with my laptop. 2 stars because at least they didn’t charge me for wasting a month of time.

- Great pc accessories and a go to place when building a pc or just to buy individual components.
- they have key switch tray to try feel of different switches if you're out for keyboard hunt.
- good return policy within a week I think.
- warranty might be overkill in most cases but it's up to you since there's store markup.

Typical Mem Ex location: helpful and knowledgeable staff, great stock of products, and a painless experience calling ahead for stock or other questions. This location is reasonably accessed via bus, in my case from Downtown.

Only had a couple interactions at this location but so far everything has been great. Knowledgeable and friendly staff who are eager to help you complete your purchases. Highly recommend if you need anything to construct your dream PC.

Kinda small. The employees helped me look for everything I needed.
Loved the fact that they made sure my new cpu/motherboard boots, as most say they need a bios update.

Recently had a very good experience with the team at broadway who built my custom PC.

Was trouble shooting a persistent audio issue where "computer hum/buzz noise" was coming from my active studio monitors which could be chased back to the USB cable powering my DAC. Even the slightest touch of the USB cable near the IO shield triggered it. It was my attitude at the time it was their responsibility to diagnose it because my laptop, when powered from the wall outlet, did not produce any noise through the speakers and they had assembled my custom PC.

Long story short it was determined the source of the problem was ground noise from unclean power commonly found in most buildings including theirs and mine. This problem was mitigated with an RCA ground loop isolator from Lee's Electronics on Fraser Street ($15). And the problem was solved at the source with the Morley Hum-X (aka EB Tech Hum Exterminator - $100-$150).

Just want to give a shoutout to Ben L working at this location. Ben provided amazing customer service, had great energy, and put in more effort than I would expect for retail stores.despite the fact that I only needed a small ticket item. Ben went above and beyond to check the other Burnaby location for stock too - as they only had an open box item at this location - and managed to reserve one for me. Thanks again for your help Ben!

Had an amazing experience and expert advice and me and my wife got a great black Friday deal. Better than the Amazon experience. Best of all get to bring the product home today. We were both very satisfied with the service. This was our first time visiting this location.

My laptop suddenly would not power up. I took it to B_ B_, where I bought it, wanting to get an estimate for repair. They told me they would have to ship it to Ontario as they didn't do this sort of repair in house (I didn't buy their service contract when I bought my computer there). Another customer waiting for a repair told me about Memory Express.
I decided to check in with them. The staff were professional and very friendly. They ended up replacing a capacitor. The repair bill was very reasonable. Also, the it took less than 24 hours. I was so happy to get my laptop back so quickly!
This is my first ever review, but for the first class service I wanted to help get the word out. These guys are great. Really top notch service. ;)

Super helpful. Diagnosed my laptop successfully which had died under mysterious circumstances. Turned out to be a blown capacitor which they replaced incredibly quickly.

Professional and friendly service from Ben Le Noury. He helped me with finding the right laptop and accessories before as well as helping me with a replacement charger that I lost. What I liked most about the experience is that Ben walked through all of the options as well as any add ons with a very realistic and informative manner.

When I go to buy a new tech most of the time anywhere else I am faced with either inattentive sales reps that don’t care, or sales reps that are only interested in upselling the most expensive thing they have.

Ended up speaking to a few technicians there that helped - Will, Raphael, Richard and Tyler. All were knowledgeable, friendly and so very helpful! Poor customer support. They would do anything to not take responsibility for their own hardware recommendations whether it’s a compatibility or malfunction problems and direct you to the manufacturer. As absurd as it may sound it is probably best to pay them to install even the simplest hardware and hold them accountable.

I have had nothing but great experiences with all the staff I have ever dealt with at Memory Express. From Alberta locations to the Vancouver and Burnaby locations it has been consistent. The staff are very helpful and very knowledgeable. They are not your typical 'sales' people and listen to the customers needs and try to find solutions. Very friendly.

I purchased what I thought was new ram from this location. When I tried to return it, unused, they said I could not return it because it was “missing a sticker”. There were never any stickers on the ones I purchased but they showed me new ones that had stickers. This location sold me used ram as new and then refused a return. While I try my best to shop at brick and mortar stores I will avoid this store for my future purchases.

Memory Express is the BOMB! Customer service is through the roof, above the rest by a mile, and special shout out to Eric and Devon, but as well as the rest of the friendly and knowledgeable staff! You email or call them, and they will get on it. They respond to emails faster than anyone; put in an order, drive over there, and it's ready! They call you when your wait listed items come in, and you've got your goods in your hands that day. I got a processor and needed a 3070, etc, and this place had my back for all my needs. 1000W power supply, Arctic Freezer II 360, the works.
Their build service is also fast and experienced, so if your friends or family need a custom gaming system built at a great price, they can do it in just a few days even during these busy times.

Anyone who has an issue with their service or parts, have them talk to any of the staff and they will help resolve it to the best of their abilities, I'm certain of it.
I would highly recommend Memory Express for all your computer parts and computer service/build needs. They take care of you like you're a friend or family; if you don't know much about computers, the are willing to help you out, they won't steer you wrong.

Was on my way to Canada Computers to pick up a graphics card, and happened to stumble upon this place. Went in there with only the expectation of price comparison. Turns out, not only what I wanted was cheaper, but the customer service was also much better.

Bad customer service. I went up to one of the guys to ask about an Xbox controller and he seemed irritated that i even approached him for help. All other staff seemed "too busy" when i was the only person in store.

Edit: Seems like you guys dont understand why i was irritated. It wasnt that i didnt get assistance. It was the demeanor and attitude of the employee. He seems irritated that i even asked him for assistance.

I ordered some components from the Vancouver store because the online store was out of stock. The staff were very helpful and my order shipped the next business day and arrived the day after that extremely well packaged. Great job!

Excellent customer service - willing to go the extra mile. Better than their competitors and the price was reasonable. Sales rep explained the features of the product that I was purchasing. Also advised the manufacture warranty what it covers & not. Offered optional extended warranty, return and exchange policy. Will definitely come back here again!

This Memory Express location has provided me with the best customer service I've received in any computer / electronic store in a long time.

Staff is knowledge, quick and polite. I placed multiple back orders with them at no cost and been in contact with them - via phone - for updates on my queue position and been helped every time. There's also never a wait to get in the store because they actually properly staff their store, unlike Canada Computers.

Memory Express is one my favorite go to places for my computer needs. They always have the items you need in stock and knowledgable Staff no complaints about this place very fast service. No room for improvement.

Filed a bank dispute on them.we shall we what happens. Terrible service.
Bought a new MSI laptop but with a chipped edge. They did not offer a refund or exchange and blamed problem on me. I will win the dispute.

Their "final sale" return policy one some items just doesn't make sense, they should stand behind the product they sell. Bought a screwdriver set that stated "For almost any computer repair" didn't even come close to work for any of the laptops in the house. Memory Express won't budge on their return policy. The service there is always great but this whole thing is annoying/disappointing.
