Memory Express Computers Victoria

I had a problem with hdcp streaming, went to 3 different computer shops that weren’t able tocome up with a solution. Landon at memory express told me a simple solution which when I tried out, immediately fixed the issue.

Super happy with the service here - Mannfred (Manny) is great to deal with, as are everyone else I've had. They are quick to respond, detailed in their correspondence and communicate very clearly. I would highly recommend this place.

Customer service is excellent, they'll go the extra mile and are friendly.
Only reason for 2 and not 4 stars is Service center tried to charge me $60 service charge to take a simple chip from laptop A to laptop B, probably should be included after dropping $2500.
Thats okay Ill do it myself, it takes 20 minutes.
Other than that they have a nice selection and Ill go here over the OTHER large computer store any day.

Bought a motherboard and cpu here a week ago, didn't take them up on the offer to mount the cpu, update the BIOS, etc.for free. Found out yesterday the motherboard was dead on arrival (apparently an issue with that particular model as per forums discussions found afterthefact). Brought it back to Memory Express Victoria, and they were able to exchange with a similar model.

This time I took them up on their offer! Excellent customer service

I can't speak highly enough of Memory Express. Our family goes to them for all of our PC gaming needs and they have been extremely helpful, professional, and provide excellent customer service. They are very knowledgeable and passionate about anything computer related and are an excellent resource for the community.

I've been a regular, happy customer of Memory Express from the day they opened their doors in Calgary's NE to today. I'm sure I've spent many thousands of dollars in this business over the years.

The Victoria service department is horrible and doesn't live up to even minimum expectations. Finding out that 4 to 5 business days really means whenever they get to it as long as no priority jobs come in bumping it further down the repair queue. In my case, it turned in to 8 business days and counting.

If you're eager to have your computer repaired and returned in a timely manner, look elsewhere. Memory express will result in wasted time and frustration.

Sorry to say but since I now live in Victoria, Memory Express in no longer a viable option for computer repair or purchase.

Always knowledgable, friendly staff. Fair prices and amazing support. For this being one of the only computer stores in the area, it's the obvious choice for everything PC related.

I encountered excellent customer service here. All the staff were friendly.
I called in an evening and explained my problem and was patiently listened to by Wesley. The following day I brought my computer in and both Wesley and Scott hand held me through the process of restoring it to order. The charges for the parts were very reasonable. I highly recommend them.
[I wasn't the only customer that was well taken care of, I observed them taking good care of an elderly couple in front of me. ]

I recently made my first custom build computer & went through Memory Express (Mem. Ex) Victoria for the bulk of the parts. Not only did I find Mem. Ex's website to be more informative and easier to use than their competitors, but the staff was helpful, friendly, and great to deal with. Ryker Tong was especially helpful. They flashed the bios & tested the CPU/RAM/Motherboard for me so when I got home it was pretty much a plug 'n play build (great for a first timer & preferable to the mail order option). Ryker also helped me get everything out to my car, which was great. I shouldn't have more PC needs for years with this build, but I'll definitely think of them if the need comes up!

Trash store, as a reputable all selling computer store they don't sell something as basic as a water cooling additive for a water cooling loop for your computer system. Also the store clerk didn't seem to care. He didn't even try to help. So don't waste your time with this circus called clown express.

Walked in expecting to be pushed to a higher end laptop or gaming PC. I was pleasantly surprised to get help in building a system from scratch, that checked all my boxes and more for a better price than I saw for basic in store systems at the big box stores.

Even had the option of using parts from my older system to keep costs down.

Some of the best customer service I've ever had. The Victoria staff is very friendly and helpful. They have never made me feel stupid for asking questions that might be obvious to someone more experienced. I've had to return 2 separate keyboards over a 2 year period under warranty. Always left within about 15 minutes with a new keyboard at no cost. Will continue to be a customer and recommend anyone who needs PC stuff to come here.

Really friendly staff; didn’t make me feel like a Luddite as some other shops do. Took the time to troubleshoot to give me the best solution.

Great responsive staff helped me build a PC with parts I purchased. Had an unexpected issue with the Ethernet port and Customer Service helped troubleshoot it, brought the build in the same day and got it running!

It's a 5 star experience every time I go here. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Above all, when buying part upgrades they are invested in what the rest of the build is like and not afraid to stop you from overspending on something unnecessary. You will get the most out of your budget buying individual parts or entire systems here. I've never felt like I'm dealing with a "salesman" trying to up-sell me on things I don't need. Skip the big box stores and drop these guys a visit, you'll never look back.

Great price on a laptop and the employees were nice, but when there was an issue, dealing with the customer service was difficult.

Had a 6 year old H100i GTX pump fail, Sugi helped me pick a new H115i RGB PRO XT which did not fit in my case due to my error. No issues returning and exchanging for a Fractal Design Celsius S24 which fit in my Mini ITX case perfectly, and even outperforms my old H100i GTX, by about 7°c.

Really helpful staff who have helped me make purchases I'm very happy with. Real people willing to be honest and help avoid bad decisions while clearly working for your best interest which is less common than some may think.

Great selection and most of the staff is friendly. I’ve spent over 6k in the last few months here and there’s one staff tall guy with the Afro that is a very unwelcoming person. Zero stars for that loser but 5 stars for the shop and products.

Purchased my new computer from Rigel almost a month ago. I first wanted to build my own computer and relive my experience of being in high school, building my first computer. After gathering all the parts Rigel pointed out that we built pretty much the same rig that was on display. I purchased the pre build and couldn't be more happy. Rigel and the memory express team will always be my go to.

Excellent service both times I've shopped there. My only suggestion would be with Covid protocols in place, maybe one of the tills being used as a express lane may help.

Awesome company! I ordered a battery for my laptop & was givin a 3-4 week wait period for it to show up. 5 days later its here:) BOOOOOOM thats how you do it!

Just picked up an Asus desktop, service here is amazing to say the least. Price matched for me, offered to install hardware too. Hard to find good service like this these days! Will be a return and referring customer.

Phenomenal would be the one word to describe my experience at Memory Express Victoria. My expectations were blown away by the stellar customer service from each staff member and the pure professionalism by this team. I had come in Sunday to budget a new work station and was guided over to Morgan. I let him know my budget and he would then start the process of working together a configuration that didn't cut corners on performance. Morgan made the effort to walk me through the process of his decision making and creating that environment which was super involved to make sure my needs/requirements were met. And it didn't stop with Morgan, every team member who was free that day would offer their advice for this build to make it what it is today. The communication with him and his team would almost be visualized as a olympic relay team surrounded by computer parts.

After two days, the PC was ready. Like most places, once you have paid for your products, you find the the customer service standards drop as soon as you get the receipt. This is not the case with Memory Express. The same customer service I first received was still there when I had arrived a second time for pick up. I was surprised at the level of protocols they take to ensure you have everything ready to go before you leave, all the way to even walking it to your car.

In a world of online shopping, places like memory express shows that it's absolutely worth it to come in person. Not only for the products but the unique culture/expertise they provide to every customer coming through those doors. Thank you for the laughs Morgan and Thank you to the Team at Memory Express!

Today was our first time in this store. We were helped by Jake. We went in looking for a machine or build for my son that is attending an animation school. Jake asked us what the machine was intended for and came up with a perfect build. Jake made this a great experience and I can not say enough about this shop. This store is a candy store of goodies for I would imagine any computer needs, the walls are lined with goodies and the shelves are loaded. 100% make this your first stop for any computer needs. Shopped here many times, always more than satisfied. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and will gladly answer questions and be as helpful as possible. Best computer store in the city

A few months ago I purchased a Samsung Odyssey G7 monitor, and I also purchased their in store replacement plan. After having a hiccup on it this morning I took it in for them to have a look at it. Before I even fully walked in I had a couple super helpful associates offer help, and took it away for triage. Less than 30 minutes later they couldn't find an issue and offered a few different options. End of the day, I was pretty stressed out, but everyone is just super helpful, I'll keep shopping there.

They're an incredible team. They assembled my pc for a quarter of the cost of my original I. T services and did insanely good cable management. Wish I just did business with them sooner. They deserve more credit

Great stock for PC gaming enthusiasts, and helpful staff. I've always purchased things online, but having gone to this store in an emergency (I needed a keyboard ASAP) I will be reconsidering brick and mortar for future purchases.

The young man that helped me (I think his name was Landon) was patient and helpful, even though I was pretty scattered and didn't know what I wanted. He helped me make a purchase that I'm happy with, and he was friendly and professional throughout.

Always great service, good deals and in these covid days extreme attention to cleanliness and sanitization, but the store is always clean and presentable so not far off from the normal standard this store presents.

Very courteous and incredibly knowledgeable staff! I will be shopping here again for sure, it was very busy but the associate didn't rush or put pressure on me. The associate was familiar with all of the products and warranties they had and he did his best to make sure I walked out if there without spending more money than I had to.

Every staff member I've spoken with has a strong grasp of current hardware and their rates for things that are frustrating or time consuming to install (like big air coolers) are very reasonable. Definitely a place I'd love to work and it shows in the how engaged each and every staff member seems to be with their work. Hands down the only place to go for all computer needs in Victoria.

Absolutely stellar experience with the store and staff! They were very friendly, positive and helpful every step of the way as my partner and I took the leap and decided to build our own PCs. David managed to save us money and helped us build an even better setup within our budget and went above and beyond in making sure everything was working. After a few weeks with a new build specifically for editing/post-production on a broadcast television documentary, my system from Memory Express Victoria hasn't skipped a beat. The price for power ratio, tailored customer service, and price matching make Memory Express a serious no-brainer if you're looking for pro-level solutions in computing.

Rigil was extremely patient and helpful, I am building a new pc for the first time in ten years and he answered all my questions and more. Even more so calling in late, I highly recommend dealing with memory express if the employees are this good. Shoping for computer and parts can be way too stressful and this helped alot
