If you care about your loved one, please don't accept a placement here. I'm sure most of the aides are wonderful people but my nana only lasted a couple weeks there. A year ago she fell and hit her head and sustained some awful head trauma and instead of taking her across the street, she was not. She died the next day. She deserved proper care and did not receive it here.

Have tried to visit a resident several times and been left standing outside for almost an hour waiting for staff to answer the door. The number on the door to call goes to a voice-mail which indicates that the voice-mail you have reached has not been set up. Very disheartening when you've traveled a long way to visit someone

From the point of view of a casual volunteer and occasional visitor, I alway find the residents cheerful and the staff very friendly.

The food has gone down hill. Put some effort into giving everyone better quality cooked meals. Its not hard to put a little effort.
