My dog needed an update on his rabies shot and they were able to get me in the same day! Very clean and professional place, my dog didn’t feel a thing! I highly recommend this place!

Such an amazing place. They took such good care of my cat during his surgery and kept me updated on his condition and are very thorough. Dr. Mann and his staff are a fantastic crew of people.

I've been to Menzies a few times now, and am always so impressed with Dr. Mann and his staff.
My cat has gone through trauma as a youngster with an ex of mine, so he has a STRONG aversion/fear of men. I was VERY impressed with how gentle, but firm Dr. Mann was with my very anxious kitty, who even let the nice doctor hold him for about 30 seconds! (It's taken my fiancée 2 years to be able to hold him that long, for reference)
Dr. Mann even suggested a price effective way of me getting my cats heart medicine, which probably saved me around $500 per year. I'm extremely grateful for how kind, gentle, conscientious, and genuine Dr. Mann and his staff are. You can tell they truly care about you and your fur babies.

On May 24th I had the unfortunate experience of my 300 lb Saint Bernard being poisoned. A friend of mine got it to bed at 1: 30 in the morning to drive me to the emergency vet. It wasn't until we were in the parking lot that they told us we had to go to Abbotsford. I was frantic and crying, and then that had the nerve to tell me that if I didn't have $450.00, then I was wasting his time. I'm on disability, I would have paid them every last cent but they refused to see him without cash. My baby died in my arms in my friend's minivan and hour and a half later. It was not an easy death and I will be haunted by this experience for the rest of my life. They were rude and condescending. The very least they could have done was to make him more comfortable. They called me the next day to see if I found funds to make an appointment. When I told the girl that he had died during night thank you drop him off for a fee and they would put him in with the other dead dogs. The girl I spoke to was actually quite nice, in actually felt quit bad for me.then got on the phone to try and help with cremation. It was around $700, paid up front of course. In the end losing my baby was harder and more painful because of this place. I thought a veterinarian was supposed to be an animal person. Someone who cared about the well-being of animals. This place is clearly motivated by the almighty dollar. To be fare I'm too close to really be impartial, but this is what happened so you be the judge.

Been a client of dr mann for probably close to 20 years. I wont go anywhere else. But my most recent experience really shows me how awesome some of the employees are. Sarah went above and beyond when i had to take my chi Diva in for a sudden check up. Ill spare the details of the visit. But Sarah you rock! Dr mann and crew are very lucky to have you. Dr mann you give that girl a raise! Nothing but love for the whole group!

We have been customers at Menzies ever since another vet who we were using wanted to wait 3 days for an appointment when our dog was ill. Menzies told us to, of course, bring him right in, and they took very good care of him. When we had to have our pet euthanized (many years later, thank goodness), they were very supportive and empathetic. Now we have a new pet that we have had to get vaccinations for. They are always great about answering other questions that have come up, and have not charged for extra examination of our new pup. Also, they are taking precautions during Covid which we appreciate!

We love the care we receive at menzies pet Hospital. Our 9 year old Basset Hound looks forward to visiting with Dr Mann and vet tech Paige. All the staff arte truly amazing Thank You! 1

What can I say about Dr. Mann and Casey and all their staff, my cat got very sick, Dr Mann tried absolutely everything and went well above and beyond, I had to put my 15 year old manx down and I did it knowing that everybody there exhausted every effort before doing so, and the bills during this were very reasonable, he sent one of the xrays to a radiologist that found the issues 4 or 5 vets previously couldn't, he kept my Ozzy comfortable during everything, and that was huge for me, never rushed anything and has a way with animals, Ozzy wouldn't let anybody handle him but he could, and Casey his vet assistant could as well, they also sent a condolence letter which was very kind, I could go on about other great experiences ive had their but trust me on this, if you want thorough care with a high level of professionalism from top to bottom give them a try, when I get another cat or dog I'll be going back

We received excellent service from all the staff also found them very friendly. Dr. Mann was extremely professional.and compassionate.

Love these guys. I'm a bit of a nervous belly when it comes to vets.for years this vet has demonstrated extreme patience, and they are very knowledgeable and can help with most general enquiries over the phone.

We weren't even spoken to for 10 minutes, then waited 30 minutes before we saw anyone. The treatment wasn't very personal either. Kind of disappointed.

After this review was posted, we were terminated as a client - this was our first visit, and I don't typically post reviews. What is the point of the review process if you can't be honest?

Had an emergency on a Saturday of a long weekend. They fit us in no questions asked. Fast friendly and made sure our dog was very well looked after. Every time we have been on they listen to our concerns and make recommendations accordingly.

Took my cat here several times. Realized after taking her to another vet just how bad this one was.

I took her in for a checkup because my cats behaviour was changing and I suspected something was wrong. They said that they didn’t find anything wrong with her. After taking her to another vet, I found out that she has hyperthyroidism and heart disease.

During that checkup, they took a blood test. After they took her, I could hear my cat screaming. They told me she would need to be sedated in order for them to get her blood. At the other vet, there was none of this. No screaming, no fuss, no sedatives, and they mentioned how sweet she was.

There was also a small bump on her head that I had the vet look at. The vet told me it would “fall off. ” When I mentioned that to the other vet, she was puzzled that he would say that and confirmed that it will not fall off…

After my experience, I don’t have much trust in this veterinary clinic.

I just got my dog Pepper who will be 10 years old this year teeth cleaned. The office staff were so kind and the machine that cleans the teeth was acting up so they re-booked me so be convenient for me be home to watch Pepper they understood I was concerned because his age and I also got blood work done. Dr. Mann called me and explained everything he gave me options and we made best plan for Pepper yet Dr. Mann was considerate of cost and time, that I want to take good care of my boy. I called to see how Pepper was doing and the office staff were so kind they went and checked to give to a update so appreciate this.

Just came for maintence shots for my cat. I like the way they notify you when stuff needs scheduling. Then bim bam all done ad you are o your way back home.

I just adopted a new puppy and the front staff was absolutely lovely and helpful, squeezed me in when my pup needed to be seen. I know how the vet world is overwhelmed right now so I really appreciated that! Dr. Mann was very kind and reassuring and we are excited to have found our vet clinic:)
