Unfortunately not much ice cream options, other locations have kept ice creams but in this one, there’s only one type and surprisingly there’s no one in the store available for customers questions, the assistants who are cutting meats or giving you meats are only busy with their own work, no other available person in the store in case you need assistance.

My experience today Meridian Meats in Poco was amazing. The staff are so friendly. My hands where full with purchases and Shanelle kindly carried it to my car. This went beyond call of duty. Love Meridian Meats

Customer service not the greatest,
I went there today to get some meat for a bbq. I waited so long just to get my meat while I was getting it my son W
Was playing around with the price tags. I wasn’t happy he did that an I felt bad but the lady that was talking to my son I felt she was really rude to him an he only 5. I understand she was busy but she didn’t have to be rude. I did end up saying sorry to the lady an I could tell she didn’t seem to care that I apologized an I didn’t speak with my son after that what he did was wrong. I just wish the lady was a bit nicer to him

I love the peole here they are super helpful and friendly, the meat is excellent! I've never had an issue finding something and if you don't see it ask if they have it in the back

I can definitely say I will not buy my meet anywhere else other than that this storethe staff thereawesome

Steaks LOOK really good, fresh and just the right colour. Alas, even cooked medium rare it tastes like it has been irradiated, all flavour of real meat gone. Tasteless leather like. I have tried it several times and have been disappointed every time.

We came here on a Sunday when they had the $7.99 rib eyes and Oscar helped us. He was very nice and professional. The customer service was top notch and there was not pushyness. Oscar was very helpful and informative at all the questions we asked as it was first time in the store. Everything was clean and also easy to find. Would recommend going back!

Amazing customer service. Usually all the products sold are top notch. Unfortunately one night I bought some maui ribs that ended up being very tough, almost inedible after barbecuing. When I came back the next day to let them know. They not only refunded the order they gave me multiple items for free. I was shocked. In this day in age that is an absolute rarity. Michaela, the manager was very sweet. Thanks again y'all. I will always continue to support you.

I went KETO almist 3 years ago, a big staple in my diet is their organic, grass fed and finished, extra lean ground beef. The price is great, I stock up when it goes on sale. I also love their marinaded pork chops and the turkey sausage. When I splurge on a steak, I always know it will be tender and tastey.

They don't really carry anything inexpensive so you won't necessarily save money but the quality and customer service is extremely high, which makes the slightly higher cost well worth it.

Absolutely the best place to get high quality meat. Affordable prices and a great selection. All the employees and super fast and friendly. Benny and Ian are awesome! 10/10 would recommend.

Fast friendly service, wide variety of foods for almost any occasion, planning a special meal? Meridian should be your first stop, it is for me.

I bought a few things last night and we'll I am cooking it both of the meats had a very bad smell I am not sure if it's safe to eat I am very disappointed since I have bought from here before

The staff are always the highlight here. I don't think they actually butcher anything themselves but I could be wrong. Prices are a little high for what it is in my opinion

Where does this franchise find the teenagers who work here? They are the nicest kids I’ve ever met. Also, the meat in the bomb!

Great selection and good prices! Fresh meats and seafood with lots of delicious deli salads and other food items to choose from. They also do bulk meat orders, just give them a call ahead of time and they will have it ready to pick up! You have to try the cheesy garlic bread…Yum!

This by far was the best T-bone steak ever

Fresh cuts. Good quality meats and a variety of prepared foods, deli meats and groceries. Well-laid out and spotlessly clean environment Friendly, courteous staff always. Been a customer for many years and am always treated like a valued one.

I stopped by and was making a purchase of frozen lamb burgers.
I made a comment of preferring fresh ground lamb, he immediately told me could do fresh ground right now.
That's customer service at its best.
Keep treating customers like this and we will keep coming back.

While you may see a lineup outside, service is very quick once you get inside, ie when I took my number I was the next person up.

So over priced! The veggie kabobs were excellent and the sauces I bought were too but the perogies were actually inedible and somehow had a fishy taste- awful!

Great food and great selection.when you're driving by, stop and get a couple steak skewers and some handmade dog treats.treat yourself don't cheat yourself.

Great quality protein shop.
Staff are welcoming and fast to pack your order. Variety of meat, chicken and sea foods are good but can be better.
Prices is a little bit higher than other places but if you want quality products it definitely worth to pay a little bit extra.
Inside space and layout can be improved or a bigger space would be the greatest option.

This is an amazing place to buy meat. The workers here are really nice and helpful especially Maddy she made are visit very pleasant. It's because of her we are always gonna keep coming back. Thank you Maddy for helping us ;)

I buy all my meat/poultry from Meridian. Lots of local, grass-fed options. I love how they will season your steaks or chop up your chicken for you before they wrap it up.all you need to do is ask. There is also a wide range of pre-marinated chicken if you are in a rush for cooking dinner. Even though this place is a bit more expensive then your local grocery store, the items are always fresh and great quality so it is well worth spending the extra bit of money. Customer service is always amazing. They also sell a wide variety of organic foods and items from local small businesses. Makes me feel good about spending my money here. This store also has a deli and is next door to Kins and Cobs so I can get most of my shopping done by just coming here.

Awesome selection of deli products. Grass fed beef, free range chickens and wild caught salmon. Mostly simple and healthy ingredients. Well laid out store. Friendly and helpful staff.

Got the most amazing short ribs for the bbq and quite possibly the best rib eye steak from the place. Will be back

Employees at the butcher side were more concerned about whispering to each other than actually working. They didn't have the butcher pack we wanted but they offered to make it for us. After spending 20 mins of me having to read off of my phone what was in the pack, we were told we wouldn't get the pack for that price and would have to pay full price. Would not reccomend this location

Great meat, take number pick what you want. Everything is basically grass fed, antibiotic free, organic. Highly recommend this affordable place.

Been going there for years, moved away, came back and continued being an every week shopper with meridan.never had an issue with their meat, everything they have is great.

Great new renovation. The staff are super friendly, was helped by a young lady named Megan, wow is she fast, curteous and efficient! Food is amazing, prices.reasonable, I always shop here!

This place was alot better when they where at the old location. Now that they have grown it seems like they just care less

I was at the Poco store this afternoon and bought one of the steaks on special, the $5.99 teriyaki steak and a bacon/cheddar potato. For $5.99 I do not expect filet mignon, but my steak was not edible! There was a thick white tendon (?) running through it. At first I thought it was just marbling, but even my steak knife could not cut through it. So I cut around it and tried to eat the rest of the steak. So awful, that I was only able to chew the meat a little, then spit it all out. No amount of chewing would break down the meat enough to swallow! Just call me hungry and disappointed.

Called about my order and being Xmas I was expecting a bit of chaos. My question couldn’t be answered right away but I promptly received a call back by a very courteous staff member!

Once you get meat from Meridian you can’t go back to grocery stores like Saveon/Safeway I’ve been to all three stores Poco, Maple Ridge, and Langley they’re all very good! The owners are also very concerned about your satisfaction and want you to be 110% satisfied with your purchases! I once had a small issue with a product purchased here and they more then fixed the issue! I don’t buy meat from anywhere else!

We have a big family and go here every two weeks for our meat. We always call in and order a package and they are always amazing in assisting with all our subs! They always offer to carry our freezer pack! We love this location and the amazing staff! Always fully staffed right up until close!

Stopped by for first time. We were checking out the meat selection but had already bought steaks from somewhere else. We decided to try a couple of cabbage rolls, a sausage role and some spicy Genoa salami. Got home to find sausage roll was stale and not very fresh. The cabbage rolls we inedible so hard even after recooking the cabbage could not be chewed. Lastly the spicy salami was oviously cut from 2 separate pieces as half of the 300 grams was old. Basically threw away everything we bought there. Thank goddess we bought our steaks elsewhere.
