Mervyn's The Body Shop

If you are reading this trying to decide if you should go to Mervyns, do yourself a favour and go to these guys. I have had the pleasure of going there twice now and both times have been smooth, easy and just wonderful all around. Their staff really cares, the front desk is friendly and open. Mervyns feels like a family business, you feel valued and taken care of! Can’t thank you guys enough for just being awesome.

The team at Mervyn’s was exceptional when I brought my car in. Communication during the whole process was amazing and clear, and they made sure to keep me updated during. This will be only place I take my car for body work, and the only place I refer others too. There may be a wait, but it is absolutely worth it for the great experience and even better workman ship from the whole shop.

I just had my car fixed by Mervyn's due to vandalism and feel quite lucky to have had such a talented mechanic named Jeff. The electric cap looks perfect and Jeff also was willing to take the time to write his opinion on how the cap was wrecked as the vandal was trying to sell a rather bizarre story to claim his innocence. Mervyn has great reviews because they are awesome. They have a long waitlist, I had to wait 4 months to get my car fixed. However, I wouldn't trust my car anywhere else. Their work is amazing and their service is crazy good. They work with enterprise for rental vehicles and their customer service is just as good. I have had to use Mervyn twice and Enterprise three times. You won't regret using either of them. They are fantastic!

This shop is amazing. The staff had helped us get the repairs completed but also dealing with an out of province claim came with delays from the insurance co. The team at Mervyn's The Body shop cared and made everything as easy as possible for us. We appreciate everything and we will highly recomend you to anyone needing body shop work. I had the privilege of dealing with the best body shop in town! A deer “hit me” (that’s for you Becca) in my brand new Rav 4, I was devastated. I called Jason, he had my Rav in the shop the very next morning, assessed the damages, the shop was even able to repair my vehicle temporarily so I could drive it until the parts arrived! Having a AWD in winter conditions makes me feel so safe, So I was extra grateful to have my own car during the winter! Once the parts arrived they had me in a courtesy car and did there magic in a timely manner! I was over the moon when I got my vehicle back just like brand new again And cleaned! The experience from start to finish felt like family…. Thank you All, so very much!

My Audi Q7 was rear-ended really really bad so I thought it was going to take forever to fix, but Jason took my car in and tried his best to source the parts as quickly as possible. And then his team did a fantastic job to restore my car to its original status, it is virtually like nothing ever happened! Eventually I got my car back way ahead of the time I had expected. I was totally blown away! Highly recommend!

Five Stars Not Enough. Thanks To Jason, Becca and Rosie and the entire team at Mervyn's for the Professional Care and Repairs done to my car just like it was their own. Right from entering the business at Reception Becca got the whole process started and dealt with ICBC on all aspects of repairs needed and said not to worry and had a courtesy car available to use till mine was done. No interruption to our lives and summer holidays still happened. When I needed to call, someone was always there to help and answer my questions Car was repaired to new condition and I was very pleased. Hit a deer that mangled the front end of our vehicle at the beginning of a cross-country trip. Mervyn's assessed it, put in some screws and confirmed it was ok to proceed without asking for a penny. Excellent service and good people.

Needed some minor touch ups to get a car ready for applying for collector status. Jason helped me out on short notice - he was professional and very friendly. Will definitely be back when I need work done in the future!

The clips that hold the driver's door panel in place on my 2003 GMC Envoy (SUV) gave way. Every time I had to pull the door shut, the panel would come off in my hand. Frustrating and annoying.

At the time it happened, I had a move coming up and other more pressing matters that needed my finances. So, in the interim, I used that heavy duty, super-sticky red tape (the kind that is see-through enough that some people use it when their tail light gets knocked out).

Well, long story short, seven long months passed and a very hot summer (sticky stuff "loves" the heat, makes it much more adhesive). I got an estimate for the clips (unfortunately they were GM clips, and GM is expensive) and set an appointment.

The panel was fixed in about an hour, but what was more impressive was the fact that there was NO HINT of that red tape. If anyone knows the kind of tape I speak of, then you also know that 'no hint' of glue or adhesive is quite the feat.

The door looked new. No glue, no tape, no fingerprints or smudges. After all those months of looking at my red-striped "zebra" door (to keep the panel in place), I felt like I was driving a new vehicle.

Brent also gave me an estimate for some body damage I have to address in future days. He is patient, very thorough in his explanations, and professional. He also took the vehicle in the back to do some "banging" so that there would not be an annoying "rub". Kaitlyn at the front desk is very friendly and courteous as well.

Had a rust spot repaired. There was a scratch in the paint that wasn’t there before. Shop owner repaired the scratch and also repaired other damage that he wasn’t hired to do. Highly recommend Mervyn’s. They go above and beyond.

Well. I have to say, I am very impressed with Mervyn's The Body Shop. My Wife had her car in for some minor repairs, came home and mentioned "what a great place", so that stuck with me. Apx a year later, I required some work on my Lexus, and first thought was Mervyn's, so booked an appointment for the following week. Day before appointment received a reminder call (thank god, as I had forgotten) to bring my car in. Was done exactly how they explained it, quickly and professionally and exceptional workmanship. Would highly recommend them as your local body shop. Love it, that the owner is at the front counter. Kevin C

My wife, Bev, brought her 2018 Mazda to Mervyn's for a warranty re-spray including the re-application of the 3M protection. The quality of work was outstanding from the colour matching to the 3M application to the total cleanliness, inside and out. The team also helped to repair some existing damage as a very generous gesture of Christmas goodwill which was really appreciated during a tough time. We highly recommend Mervyn's who really do go that extra mile.

We were in Kelowna for just a few days and got a fender bender - argh! The person who hit us recommended that we contact Mervyn's, which we did. We were seen immediately. The service was exemplary- honest, very reasonable rates, kind, informative.wow. I only wish that we had a Mervyn's in Coquitlam!

Can't say enough good things about my experience here! Had a small ding in my tailgate that was an easy fix. The staff at Melvyn's refused to take any payment for the repair and insisted it was so small I shouldn't have to pay. Super friendly service, would definitely recommend

Unbelievably impressed with Jayson and his team! Brought the new trunk for my car there to get painted and gave me the best price of all of the places I asked. They got it painted for me, but wanted my car there to make sure the colour would match. They repainted it and still had it done that day, they even did a nice detail with it when it was done. I was gonna get my boyfriend to put the trunk on but they did it at no charge! They did me a huge favour when I was in a tough spot. The quality of the work was amazing, looks better than when it came in. Definitely gonna be recommending Jayson and his team to anyone and everyone that needs it.

My poor truck was hit while I was parked at work. I called Mervyn’s and they got me in right away to check out the damage, kept me up to date on the status as parts were delayed and got my truck fixed for me very quickly! The whole team there is amazing and I swear my truck looks better than new - 10/10 recommend to anyone needing body work.

I had gone to another shop for an estimate prior to Mervyns. They did not even send it to me as promised. I had to call and ask for it. Mervyns gave me an estimate on the spot. They suggested they would have my car done in 2 days and had it done in just over 24 hrs. They also picked me up and dropped me off.

I didn't have the coverage on my insurance for a rental so Jason decided he would give me a loaner car. This was a extremely generous gesture and a massive help for me. This was hands down my best experience with any auto shop. That was an elevated experience and you can tell everyone likes what they do and loves working for this company.
